My Summer Happy Place

If it weren't for the potential for vicious sunburns I would spend all summer lounging by the pool. Sure I could slather on the sunscreen, but even that doesn't stop it. You fair skinned people out there know what I am talking about.

At least with the SL sun I don't have to fear a sun burn, or tan lines for that matter. Summer is just starting here in the northern hemisphere so I hope you are prepared for tons of summer and beachy posts.

Lovely LOTD

Happy Mondays my dears. Today I shall call Love Day Monday, mostly because my shirt says love. I paired it with new necklaces that say "can u not" and "stop pls" because in my head put together with the shirt is all reads "Can you not stop loving me". Flying a Kite

It's pretty funny, just a couple of weeks ago I was watching Mary Poppins with a certain someone special and when it was over I said something along the lines of "We should go fly a kite!". It sort of fell to the wayside until this weekend...

As you can see I got my wish to go fly a kite. He even let my climb on his back to try and see how high we could get the kite to go. We had to find a place away from the trees to fly the kite though because I didn't want it getting caught in a tree. I have a bad track record when it comes to kites and trees.

Luckily I was able to keep a tight hold on both the man and the kite and they both returned home in one piece, though one may have some sore muscles from holding me up.

Stargazer Clubhouse

The Woodcutter's Daughter

Yesterday we got a glimpse of the Woodcutter's daughter when she was a wee thing, and today we are seeing her all grown up. You see the woodcutter only ever had one child, his daughter. She loved her father so and as she grew she started following her papa to work.Eventually her papa got too old and so she naturally stepped into her papa's roll because she knew the forest better than anyone.
She learned at a young age that no matter how beautiful a forest may look you never know what may be lurking in the shadows or hidden in the caves.
She also was taught to always keep an ear out to any noise that may not fit or even the lack out sound all together. If the birds stop chirping then nothing good is coming along.

An Afternoon Treat

Some days you just need to take the time to treat yourself. There is a bakery near me that I go to to treat myself. They make the most incredible truffles.
My favorite truffle will always be the "Peter Rabbit" one which is a carrot cake truffle, so yummy! Of course some days I also need a caffeine boost in the afternoon.

Not your princess

I decided to go a little darker and more bad girl today. It could be because I have been in a mood lately because of RL stuff. It's a much healthier outlet for my "mama bear" rage.

Too cold my the animals

The weather outside is bitter cold and snowy so all the animals came inside, well almost all of them.
The deer and kitty both decided to warm themselves by the fire. However Grumpy the kitty is not really digging on the deer.
I think he is just jealous because he may have gotten a little singed from the candles in the past which is why they are no longer lit.

I needed a little me time so I dashed outside. Okay I ran out the door because I couldn't stand the noise of the kitty/deer battle. I ran around the little pond, the penguins were enjoying the cold. However someone jumped on me for a ride back in the house...
Guess this bunny isn't a fan of the cold either, now to run back inside before I turn into a Phire popcicle!

Heading "South"

Now when you live at the North Pole pretty much everywhere is South. I decided to take a little trip down south to see how the human world celebrated Christmastime.
I am sure I would have gotten some funny looks about not wearing a coat in the snow if I had run into any humans, but I was safe. See being from the North Pole I have a high tolerance for the cold and snow.
Of course my cheeks don't get all chilled like a humans, mine get all blushed and covered in stars. If you ever see a human look like this it means there is North Pole elf blood in them, no matter how diluted. I was a little upset while on my trip though.
I mean is the seriously what humans think we North Pole elves do all the time? I mean we live normal lives too you know. I mean sure the toy making is a year round thing, but we do eat more than cookies! And we know more than just Christmas songs. You humans don't sing them year round do you? I didn't think so! I am going to leave before I rant some more. Back to the North Pole I go!

Zombie Bedtime

After a long day of chasing down humans even the toughest of zombies needs some down time. Since humans snuggle with baby dolls why wouldn't a zombie snuggle with a zombie doll? Sometimes that zombie doll talks smack though. Zombie dolls can be a real pain in the ass.
If his brains weren't made of stuffing I would eat them when he got to be a pain, but fiber is not part of my diet.

We Gonna Pop Some Tags

You are gonna want more than twenty dollars in your pocket though, just saying. If you couldn't guess by the title and such this post is about the Thrift Shop event going on now. I hit it up with Lola over the weekend and if you haven't gone be prepared to spend a fair amount of time there because it is HUGE! Enough talk, how about some pictures.
It is always fun trying to get Lola and I not to look completely awkward since she is so short, This time the awkward part was her skirt. We had to switch poses because she was looking a little indecent!
Lola decided she would change her clothes halfway though and the pose too! I think she just likes making more work for me.
If you look closely you can see Lola and I are wearing the same bracelet and ring. Oddly enough this wasn't even planned. I logged on wear them because, STARS!, ans she was wearing the exact same ones. She is just biting my star loving style I know it.

Who wouldn't want to worship a Deity? I mean how casual and cool does she look? The reason I am calling her a Deity is because the skin is from We (heart) Roleplay. I hope you aren't tired of seeing these adorable spring-like jeans. If you couldn't guess I hit up Zodiac for a little retail therapy. Let's see the top, hair, jeans and poses we all picked up at Zodiac while the skin I picked up at TDR Fusion. Yeah it was a shopping bender weekend. I know it is shocking that out of all the colors I could have pulled from the pansies I picked pink/purple and not the yellows. I think I am starting to ramble so I will leave you with the credits.
