Quiet Respite

Sometimes a girl needs some peace and quiet in this crazy world. I like finding those places outside, though in the winter it's a little harder to do and much colder.

This cute little number is from the new Creators Collection Box event, which is full of cute goodies. This outfit comes with a HUD that allows you to change the leggings, skirt and ankle fur or make it not there at all. I didn't play around with it too much because I adored the way it looked with the leggings and fur. Okay I was also being a bit on the lazy side. With that I am off to be lazier, or more productive, it all depends on my mood.

In my own world

I have a habit of wearing my headphones all around so that I have music playing almost always. Everything just seems to get done faster when there is music playing. It's possible that I may sing along and dance while doing the dishes or laundry. I decided that since I do such in my non digital life that I would mirror it sort of in my digital one. I could see myself bopping along down the street with headphones on going...somewhere.

At least here on the barren digital streets I won't get weird looks when I sing along...or a cat trying to knock my headphones off to make me stop singing.

Opening Pandora's Box

I have opened Pandora's box, only instead of it being filled with all the evils of the world, these boxes are filled with memories. Each box contains it's own set of sentimental items. Maybe I did open Pandora's box with all these reminders of you.

That book you said reminded you of us, those love letters you sent and that one single red rose given before you knew my true favorite flower. All these things stirring up memories and here I am with only a blazing fire to keep me warm.

Are these my ghosts of Christmas or times past? Maybe they are reminders of the love we continue to have for one another? Maybe I am just a sentimental old fool. Who knows....

Look of the Day

I was having trouble figuring out how I wanted to photo this look so I decided to go with a simple look of the day type thing. I know it's not the most creative thing in the world, but at least you get a good view of what I am wearing. I wanted to make sure you also got to see the details on the skirt. The little metal embellishments on the pleats just tickles my fancy, maybe because it gives a sort of edge to an otherwise "harmless" skirt. Again I am wearing a mish mash of things from various events currently going on and you will find out each on in the credits.

Teatime in my dreams

I was trying to find a place to to take pictures when I came upon this little cafe of sorts. It made me think of a dreamy sort of scene so I went with it.

Of course even in my dreams I am clumsier than , well than anything clumsy. It was a tragic waste of dreamy tea too! I can't even begin to tell you what the rabbits and goose were conversing about because it is just to scandalous to bare repeating.

Metal and Spikes

I will admit heavy metal has never really been a musical genre that I have willingly listened to. I say willingly because there have been times that I have listened to it to make others happy, namely my kid, go figure. That being said it didn't stop me from enjoying the offerings in the Metal section at Rhapsody.

I may look all sugar and spice most of the time but that doesn't stop me from having a weakness for spikes.

Where is my chauffeur?

Where is the chauffeur when you need him? I must get away from this stifling mansion immediately!
I know I shouldn't complain about this privileged life I lead, but do you have any idea what it's like having to be all prim and proper all the time? It is positively ghastly. The Lords and Ladies that come to visit are bores and their children are just as boring as they are. Is it a wonder the royals likes to get out and mingle with the common folk. At least they know how to have a good time. If any of the television programs I have seen are anything like the real deal then I am completely missing out living this sheltered life.

I suppose I could just walk, but it is miles just to the entrance of the estate and my shoes were certainly not made for walking at all. I will give the chauffeur five more minutes tops before I have him sacked. Oh don't go judging me, he has a job to do and if he can't do it then I will just find someone who will!

'Dillo Love

When one is wearing an armadillo covered skirt the best place for pictures is the desert don't you agree? Well it made sense in my head anyway. If you have never noticed I have a thing for wearing black and white with a pop of color here and there and this look is no exception. There is just something fun about a black and white look with red shoes. It's like a pleasant surprise when you get to my toes.

My lips wanted to get in on the pop of red action today too, so I let them.

The Frog who was a Prince

You would think a man would be smart enough not to cross a fairy with a wand, but sometimes even the smartest people act, well less than brilliantly. This man happens to be a prince and he happened to rub this fairy the wrong way. He also happened to do this on a day when she was already pretty edgy so she did what fairies are known for. She bibbidi bobbidi booed his ass into a frog.

She never told him what he must do to break the spell and he was quickly picked up by a traveling circus and was never heard from again. So if you hear of a traveling show with a talking frog there is a good chance that the frog in question is really the prince who was transformed by a really annoyed fairy.

Dockside

Sometimes a girl just needs to get away, to take a little holiday to refresh and recharge. If only it were just that easy to do. For this little trip I thought I would combine some soft blues can casual apparel with something a little harder, like spikes.

Robins Egg in Spring

These shades of blue make me think of robins eggg, and robins eggs make me think of spring. While spring isn't my favorite season I do look forward to the days where I can go out in just a sweater and be warm enough. Of course thinking of spring leads to playing outside in the sunshine, and what better toy than a pastel colored pinwheel? Dreaming of You

I think at this point in the winter the You I am dreaming of is spring, or it could be a person, that is my secret. To be honest I don't hate winter nor do I hate the snow or cold. What I do hate is storm on top of storm with no chance to melt any of the last snowfall. So here I am dressed in something warm weather ready dreaming of the days when I can feel the sun kissing my skin instead of Jack Frost nipping at my nose. Hopefully those days will be here soon and I can spend them in the sun.

I need some sun!

I know I am looking a little grey around the edges. I think it's time to get a little sun, don't you? This skin is one of the new ones at Gothmas from Fallen Gods, and my prayers have been answered! There are Slink appliers to go with this one! I know I am easily excited.
I decided to hit the beach...but maybe only for a bit. I would hate to burn instead of tan, and well I am a burner by nature.

Who wouldn't want to worship a Deity? I mean how casual and cool does she look? The reason I am calling her a Deity is because the skin is from We (heart) Roleplay. Now for the record you don't have to be into roleplay to find something there to tickle your fancy. The skin was named for a goddess so I decided to make a modern goddess of love and fertility.
