Ice Entertainer

When you live in a nice cold wintry area ice skating on a properly frozen lake or pond is just something you do. Even if you only do it once, and sometimes it doesn't have to be on a lake. No one can deny that The Rink at Rockefeller Center isn't iconic and it does allow for outdoor skating, but it's just not the same.

See what I mean? You can't skate for an audience of deer at Rockefeller Center. I mean you could find people to dress as deer but I don't think it is quite the same. Look I even got to amuse a raccoon with my on ice antics.

Last Leaves of Fall

This autumn has been a bittersweet one for me. It is the last one that I will be living in New England for. Now I may be biased, but I think Autumn in New England is beyond compare. The leaves are ablaze with colors that defy description. At least that is how I feel about it. As with most things the beautiful foliage must come to an end.

So as I sit here on the ground, as the last of the leaves float down, I will comfort myself knowing that like the seasons life changes. So as I await the start of winter I will await the new adventure ahead, just without the need for a heavy jacket just yet.

Pinky and the Brain

Are you pondering what I am pondering? No?, well alright fine. Yes I am showing my age by referencing a cartoon from the early 90's. If you are old enough to know the show, and The Animaniacs, where it all started then you know the awesomeness that was Pinky. I let my partner in crime wear pink today because I am just that kind of gal.

We hit up a dock for our photos because I figured a laboratory might be a little to on the nose. We are of course wearing matching dresses in different colors. I am mint-tastic while Bunny is Pink-erific. Once you read the credits you will be able to tell we both went took a trip to Kustom9. Oh look there they are!

Sunflower Sweetie

Sunflowers are in my opinion happy flowers. I mean they just make a person smile to see them. At least they do that to me. Sometimes I have poses that are sitting in my inventory just waiting to be used and the set of sunflower ones falls into that category. I also have other things that sit there patiently waiting for their turn in the spotlight, or windlight as the case may be.

The Commute

Time to grab a coffee and catch a train into the city for a little retail therapy. While it may be relaxing living in a cute rural area, the shopping is a bit limited. So it's either catch the train into the city or not shop. Not shopping is not an option, so there you have it.

Maybe I will pick up some things for my home. I think it may need a Spring makeover.

In my own world

I have a habit of wearing my headphones all around so that I have music playing almost always. Everything just seems to get done faster when there is music playing. It's possible that I may sing along and dance while doing the dishes or laundry. I decided that since I do such in my non digital life that I would mirror it sort of in my digital one. I could see myself bopping along down the street with headphones on going...somewhere.

At least here on the barren digital streets I won't get weird looks when I sing along...or a cat trying to knock my headphones off to make me stop singing.

A Town of Mr. Butlers

A friend suggested I hop on this green train for an adventure. I really should do some research before taking advice. I didn't know it was going to be cold and snowing so I wasn't exactly dressed for the weather.

When I got off the train I was greeted by what I thought were twins, and they were offering up some champagne so I grabbed a glass and headed inside. I needed to get warm.

When I got inside there was another one and he was serving up champagne too. He had a little more flair going on than what I assume were his brothers. Maybe they are triplets I thought.

I walked deeper into the building in search of a bathroom. I did drink all that champagne and well nature was calling. I stumbled across another man, he must have been the black sheep of the butler family because he was serving up wine instead. By this time I had counted four identical Mr. Butlers and I was started to get a little worried. I snuck out of the bathroom window to find an escape from Crazytown. To be honest I was starting to think they were robots or maybe even clones and I did not want to stick around.

I found a row boat and was about to make my escape when my foot hit the water. Man it was freezing! But I soldiered on and rowed my little heart out and made it home with no troubles.
