In my own world

I have a habit of wearing my headphones all around so that I have music playing almost always. Everything just seems to get done faster when there is music playing. It's possible that I may sing along and dance while doing the dishes or laundry. I decided that since I do such in my non digital life that I would mirror it sort of in my digital one. I could see myself bopping along down the street with headphones on going...somewhere.

At least here on the barren digital streets I won't get weird looks when I sing along...or a cat trying to knock my headphones off to make me stop singing.

The Spider Priestess

As you may know the World Goth Fair is going on. Since I am not exactly the most gothy girl on the block I decided to take this tattoo and do a fantasy look.

The Spirit of the Forest

She guards the Spirit of the Forest with her life. Without it the forest would fall to ruin and there are those out there who are determined to get it and she is willing to give her life protecting it. Suddenly she hears a sound off in the distance of trees being ripped from the ground and quickly flees.

She runs and runs until she feels she is safely away to stop and take a breath. She listens to see if she is being followed but the unseen forces.

She is safe for now, but she must find a safe place to hide for the time being. Hopefully she will find it somewhere.

Set You Free

Music is magic, at least to me it is. You see music can say the words that you can't, it can change your mood, it can inspire you, and it goes on and on. I have found myself listening to music more and more lately. It's not always the same, some days it's classical,other days love songs (I'm mushy like that) and some days when I need that extra kick in the bum it's 80's. My sisters were teenagers in the 80's so I heard it all growing up.

No when I am having a rough time I go to my quiet corner, close my eyes and let the music set my free. I let it wash over me, sweeping away all the worry, all the pain, all the ick of the day.
