The Spirit of the Forest

She guards the Spirit of the Forest with her life. Without it the forest would fall to ruin and there are those out there who are determined to get it and she is willing to give her life protecting it. Suddenly she hears a sound off in the distance of trees being ripped from the ground and quickly flees.

She runs and runs until she feels she is safely away to stop and take a breath. She listens to see if she is being followed but the unseen forces.

She is safe for now, but she must find a safe place to hide for the time being. Hopefully she will find it somewhere.

Little Blue Fairy

One of the things I like about Faires is that I can find new to me stores. This is especially true with something like Fantasy Faire. This time around the new to me store is BlueMoon Enterprise, where I picked up this adorable fairy outfit. It actually comes with three different skirt lengths, but I picked the shortest one. This fairy outfit went perfectly with the fairy swing that I picked up during Pose Fair.

Baking is calming

There is something so satisfying about baking for me. I love to bake all sorts of sweet things, but I never really eat them. When I was out exploring with the husband last night we came upon this house. When we walked inside I knew I had to take a picture there and I knew I wanted to wear this dress from Lassitude & Ennui from Fantasy Faire. It just seemed to perfect. Of course I couldn't let the post go by without a shot of the hair I chose to go with it.

The hair seemed to compliment the dress so well.

The Muse

Everyone has their own idea of what a Muse is. There are the Greek mythological goddesses and there are the more human forms as well, such as a lover. We have all dealt with the lack of inspiration before and it can be quite frustrating to be certain. Take this poor soul for instance. His Muse is no where to be found thus leaving him annoyed and rapidly approaching his deadline.

Where can his Muse have gone? You can't expect a Muse to be on call all day every day now can you? They deserve a break too. Sometimes they are away on vacations and other times it's just a quick coffee break.

In this case she was just getting a quick cup of coffee. Even the Muse has a boss though and he ordered her back to work right away. No rest for those that inspire I guess.

The Muse sprinkles her magic dust upon her charge and he is off to work again. he has yet to miss a deadline while in her care and he most likely never will. She will always be on hand to inspire him, even if she cuts it a little close.

A Rose Among Dandelions

The Rose is not afraid to go down and mix among the common folk. She knows that without them the kingdom would be nothing.

Maybe one day she will make a great queen, but for now she garners the favor of the people.

Whether she becomes Queen or not one thing is certain, she is a beautiful rose.
