Blue Pier-iod

Why yes I did make a cheesy reference to Picasso's period of paintings. What can I say wearing that much blue and being on pier just made it too easy. I however am no where near as talented as the famed painter. Thought it would be fun to change things up and wear a more "non-traditional" hair color for a change.

I liked how the hair sort of matches the fading colors of the shirt and shorts I am wearing. You could almost think I planned it that way. It's true I did, but that is part of the fun of playing dress up. I will leave you with the credits now because my coffee hasn't quite kicked in so my brain cells aren't exactly fired up. Maybe I just need a coffee IV for mornings.

In my own world

I have a habit of wearing my headphones all around so that I have music playing almost always. Everything just seems to get done faster when there is music playing. It's possible that I may sing along and dance while doing the dishes or laundry. I decided that since I do such in my non digital life that I would mirror it sort of in my digital one. I could see myself bopping along down the street with headphones on going...somewhere.

At least here on the barren digital streets I won't get weird looks when I sing along...or a cat trying to knock my headphones off to make me stop singing.

Dreaming of You

I think at this point in the winter the You I am dreaming of is spring, or it could be a person, that is my secret. To be honest I don't hate winter nor do I hate the snow or cold. What I do hate is storm on top of storm with no chance to melt any of the last snowfall. So here I am dressed in something warm weather ready dreaming of the days when I can feel the sun kissing my skin instead of Jack Frost nipping at my nose. Hopefully those days will be here soon and I can spend them in the sun.

Angelic

I am an angel, no matter what others say and I have proof. No I don't have a halo, that would be too obvious.
I am however bathed in golden light and if that doesn't scream angelic then I don't know what does. Yesterday did a little bit of the Jack or Jill hunt, I obviously followed the Jill path being a girl and all. The dress, necklace and poses were all prizes in the hunt.
Okay fine some I am not that angelic, but then again where would be fun be in that?

Drink up!

Drink up everyone. I am dressed and ready to party! In fact this outfit was released at a party, go figure. I thought I would go out and have a party all my own to celebrate, also it gave me an excuse to go a little darker again. I also figure I am safe from unwanted gropings because no one is going to want to have their hand impaled on my boob spikes, or the shoulder ones for that matter.
I used the same piercing set as yesterday only this time I didn't remove most of it. I really do love piercings and should wear them more often. What do you think full on cute teaparty look with a bunch of facial piercings. Maybe that can be my own personal challenge. For now I will just give you the credits.

I missed my calling

I always wanted to be a figure skater and I had dreams of Olympic Gold. However the North Pole doesn't get represented in the games. You see the big man thinks that 1. It would give away the secrets of Christmas if we competed 2. We would have an unfair advantage, something about inherent grace. Oh well I can still dream right?
I do adore getting out on the ice and swirling and twirling around like a ballerina, only on the ice.
Maybe you would like to try your luck on the ice. It is really great fun and then there is always hot chocolate afterwards!

Late night or early morning?

So am I doing the walk of shame or am I just ready to head to work bright and early? Hmmm maybe the glittery dress is a little too much for the office huh? Okay I admit it, I was out late with this guy who used to be in a marching band, and well I may have nicked his jacket on my way out the door. It's a cold morning and I really didn't think he would miss it all that much.

Paperdolls - Day Two

Today is day two of my paperdoll doppelganger series. This one shows my obvious love of stars. It was hard not to let my favorite creep in when I was doing these dolls originally.
I came pretty darn close with the shirts and skirt today. And yes I went old school prim with that skirt. Hey I work with what I can find.
The hair may not be exactly the same, but the colors are fairly close-ish. Like I said yesterday I took a little creative license with the looks or else I would have spent more time searching the whole of SL than I spent actually taking pictures and blogging!

I know you can't really see the clothes I am wearing well in this picture, but I had to use it in this post because it made me giggle. Yup I put my name on my mantle above the fire because I am punny like that.Or lame...Oh hey want to see what I am wearing?
I needed to squeeze in some more green before I start with the Spring-like pastels. I really dig this look, so much so that I dressed really similar in RL yesterday. Only my jacket was khaki and my pants were jeans. I don't own awesome pants like those in RL (sad face). Hmm I bet I could recreate my look with the denim version of these pants.
