Binge Watching

I know I am not alone in having a show or twelve that I will happily binge watch. While I try to keep my late night binging to a minimum sometimes you just can't stop watching. This is when good battery life can come in handy.


Sometimes you don't want to admit to something you may have binge watched, for instance, the first three Jaws movies.Hey the first is a classic and well the other two just sorta followed, don't judge. We all have binge skeletons in our closets. We stay up till all hours and before we know it the movie,season or series ends.


There are times when the endings are all we hoped for, they are the best. Then there are endings that leave you going WTF! I'm looking at you Sopranos! However you feel at the end of a binge session is just one of those things you won't know about until after you do it. So go forth my friends and binge. Oh and tell me what you are binging on because I am always use more stuff to watch.

Harvester of Dreams

There is a very special job for the resident of Dreamland. I mean sure all the jobs there are important, but one is the most sought after job. That is the job of dream harvester. Didn't you ever wonder where your sweet dreams came from? I mean sure science and psychologists have their theories, but we know the truth. Those sweet dreams are harvested in Dreamland and magically create those dreams while you sleep. Sometimes though unripe dreams sneak in there and that us when the strange dreams happen.

This big round dream orb is ready to be picked. You can see by the glow and the roundness of it. It looks like a big dream too! The smaller round ones are getting close to ready, but they could use a little more growth. The square ones you see are the newest dreams growing, they all start out as little squares and as they grow and ripen the round out. Those should be ready in a couple weeks if all goes well.

On the Naughty List

There are some things that just do not fly in my world. One of those things was having a younger sibling. I mean here I am going along as an only child for what felt like ages. Then along comes a little sister. What a pain! I tried my best to be nice. I hung stockings with her and told her all about how Santa would fill them with sweets and treats.

See a sweet sisterly moment, until something happened. She annoyed me so much I started to tease her. I mean it was all in good fun. Of course she could take a joke, so she told our parents. Look it wasn't that bad!

I was only holding her present out of reach. Who hasn't done that to a younger sibling or two before? It's like an older sibling rite of passage or something. I didn't take getting tattled on too well, I know that I was a little extreme in my response, but I was young and emotional. Besides Santa can always use more elves right?
Sure now I may slightly regret it, but hey I am making it up be being a super awesome aunt to her kid. I must have a guilty concious.

Flea Market Finds

Here is a little more useless information about my non digital self. My parents have collected and sold antiques for as long as I can remember. This means that from a young age I became very familiar with flea markets. Even when on vacation my parents would hit flea markets. How they ever planned to get anything big home is beyond me. Flea markets have such an eclectic mix of items that is was actually pretty fun as a kid, since there were toys in some stalls. Forget tennis, lets get coffee

When I saw these outfits at The Chapter Four it made me think of cute little tennis outfit...till I put on the shoes. Playing tennis in wedges is just a recipe fro disaster, especially for someone as accident prone as me. So I called up my girl and we changed plans last minute. Coffee and gossiping is way more fun than actual exercise, and flapping your jaw is a work out if you have a lot to say. It was a lovely sunny day so we enjoyed our coffees outside.

Blue Pier-iod

Why yes I did make a cheesy reference to Picasso's period of paintings. What can I say wearing that much blue and being on pier just made it too easy. I however am no where near as talented as the famed painter. Thought it would be fun to change things up and wear a more "non-traditional" hair color for a change.

I liked how the hair sort of matches the fading colors of the shirt and shorts I am wearing. You could almost think I planned it that way. It's true I did, but that is part of the fun of playing dress up. I will leave you with the credits now because my coffee hasn't quite kicked in so my brain cells aren't exactly fired up. Witch of the Sea

Anyone can be a mermaid but it takes some one truly...special to become a sea witch. This witch does not have any issue with the denizens of the sea, it's those who float above the surface that she loathes. She has her reasons for being less than thrilled with sailors upon the sea. She once was a kind and gentle soul until a sailor broke her heart. She made a deal with the Goddess of the Sea to be able to find and punish the sailor who broke her heart. She then went on to avenge the broken hearts these sailors caused around the world, causing their ships to wreck, losing not only their cargo, but theirs lives as well.

She has many necklaces, each of them contains a piece of the ship that she has visited her wrath upon. They are her trophies. Maybe one say someone can break through her hardened heart and make her love again. Till then sailors should beware.

Deep Waters

When the last s'more is eaten and the embers are dying down I am left with just the crashing of the waves as my companion.

That was my attempt at being deep. Did it work well? You all may be thinking what has happened you seen suddenly melancholy. I don't believe I consciously am, but maybe some where deep down I am? Oh well this isn't a therapy session so I will get on with it.

I am back at the beach today I hope you haven't become sick of it. It's funny I live about an hour from the beach in the non-digital world, but when I get free time I always seem to head towards the mountains, go figure.

I should head to the mountains of Second Life, maybe then I will head to the beaches in the non-digital world. I am rambling on again please excuse me. Pinky and the Brain

Are you pondering what I am pondering? No?, well alright fine. Yes I am showing my age by referencing a cartoon from the early 90's. If you are old enough to know the show, and The Animaniacs, where it all started then you know the awesomeness that was Pinky. I let my partner in crime wear pink today because I am just that kind of gal.

We hit up a dock for our photos because I figured a laboratory might be a little to on the nose. We are of course wearing matching dresses in different colors. Summer Surf

Summer is officially here which means it is time to hit the beach. What better way to spend a day at the beach than hitting the waves with your board?

First things first and you have to make sure there are some waves to be had. It would be difficult to surf without waves. After spying a few big ones I thought is was time to hit the water.

I won't admit to how many tries it took me to get up, or to how many times I wiped out before finally getting my feet beneath me. Those pros on television make it look so much easier than it actually is. Oh well you know what they say, practice makes perfect so I will be out there again and again until I am less clumsy on my board.

Music Man

I have a confession to make. I am a sucker for a man that can play an instrument. I especially go weak in the knees for those that can play the guitar or piano. Maybe it comes from having zero musical talent myself, who knows. I would be lying if I said that I haven't begged a few people to play for me in the past. It just makes me giddy when they agree. Maybe one day I will learn how to play something myself, but for now I am more than happy to enjoy the talents of others. One, two, three...you know how to count so I will stop. How long do you need so you can find a good hiding place? I think a good place to hide would be at Collabor88, since there you can pick up the hair, shoes and dress I am wearing. It's would be some pretty awesome multi-tasking.

Cinderella's Slippers

Did you ever covet a pair of your moms shoes as a child? I know I did. My mom had they great boots that I wanted to wear so badly. They were high heeled black knee length suede boots with embroidered flowers on them. To my youthful eyes they were a work of art. If course I wasn't allowed to wear them because they had high heels. As fate would have it by the time I was old enough to ear them my feet were too big! This got me thinking. Cinderella and the Prince had to have kids right? Would they have a daughter and would she try to "borrow" her mom's famous shoes?

Of course she would! She would carefully sneak out of the castle and head out to meet up with her royal besties. Who's jaw wouldn't drop seeing somewhere wearing THE glass slippers?

Hopefully she won't be in a rush and misplace one like her mother.

Into a sea of yellow

I was sorely tempted to make some comment about being all about that bass, cause you know it's like a booty shot, but I thought I would pretend to be better than that. It seems that even when I am not wearing yellow I still find a way to include it. I knew I wanted to take pictures around flowers because the skirt reminds me of a flower.
