Too Early

      I am not a morning person, even when woken with a delivery of coffee to my face. I am cranky and irritable and will attempt to throw things if you ask me something before coffee has passed my lips. Also there is that whole morning breath thing, I wouldn't want to kiss me with stank breath what makes you think I want to kiss you? So when someone attempts to get all snuggly and cuddly I am not really down for that.



      I know that makes me sound like a terrible person and you may pity those who live with me, and I wouldn't blame you too much. I do on occasion wake up on the right side of the bed and those are the days where everyone is happy.I won't explain how me waking up on the right side of the bed makes others happy, you have imaginations, use them! An Airfield Goodbye

It's Valentine's Day this week so I was inspired to do my own creative license version of some famous romantic scenes from movies. Today I am starting with the scene in Casablanca where Rick and Ilsa part company. They had this exchange...


Rick Blaine: If that plane leaves the ground and you're not with him, you'll regret it. Maybe not today, maybe not tomorrow, but soon and for the rest of your life.

Since the film is in black and white I chose to take the picture in black and white. I changed a few things for my photo, for instance my Rick is much younger than Humphrey Bogart. If you want to see the colored version you can check it out on flickr. I personally think it loses some of it's charm in color, but it does show what I am wearing much better. Harvester of Dreams

There is a very special job for the resident of Dreamland. I mean sure all the jobs there are important, but one is the most sought after job. That is the job of dream harvester. Didn't you ever wonder where your sweet dreams came from? I mean sure science and psychologists have their theories, but we know the truth. Those sweet dreams are harvested in Dreamland and magically create those dreams while you sleep. Sometimes though unripe dreams sneak in there and that us when the strange dreams happen.

This big round dream orb is ready to be picked. You can see by the glow and the roundness of it. It looks like a big dream too! The smaller round ones are getting close to ready, but they could use a little more growth. The square ones you see are the newest dreams growing, they all start out as little squares and as they grow and ripen the round out. Those should be ready in a couple weeks if all goes well.

Pallets Are Cool

As I was wandering the other day I came upon a pile of pallets and since pallets are so cool and hip I stood on them for pictures. It's just the way my brain works it seems. I also tried to pull all the colors from the sweater into the rest of the look right down to the smaller details, like the necklace.
Even my glasses were keeping with the color scheme, though tortoise shell and leopard print aren't exactly the same thing huh? Oh well it's the thought that counts. Now onto the credits!

Lunch Date

The man is off the rest of the week for Thanksgiving, and because he needs to use up some of his vacation days. That means..lunch date and that is what inspired these pictures.
Here I am heading off to the restaurant to meet him for lunch, not everyone get the day off after all. I do look fabulous, but these shoes are a killer!
Of course he is late. I swear the man can't get anywhere on time. At least it gives me a chance to kick up my heels. It may have been a short walk, but any walk in heels can be a killer. He finally arrived and we had a lovely lunch. You don't want to see pictures of it I promise. I am not the neatest of eaters.
No matter how wonderful lunch is I still need that afternoon pick me up. I nice little vanilla latte is just the thing to keep me going till I park it on the couch when I get home.
