Mean Grrrreen

I couldn't decide where I wanted to take my pictures for this look so I went with just a plain background. Lola took me out shopping this weekend and she picked up a sexy little look while I picked this. This dress is great because if you wanted to be a little more casual you could wear it with pants. Oh and panties, I suggest you always wear panties, unless you nether bits need a good airing out. The hair is one of the newest releases from Exile, and is quickly becoming a favorite. I am trying hard not to wear it in every post.

Pallets Are Cool

As I was wandering the other day I came upon a pile of pallets and since pallets are so cool and hip I stood on them for pictures. It's just the way my brain works it seems. I also tried to pull all the colors from the sweater into the rest of the look right down to the smaller details, like the necklace.
Even my glasses were keeping with the color scheme, though tortoise shell and leopard print aren't exactly the same thing huh? Oh well it's the thought that counts. Now onto the credits!

Into Adulthood I Go

When I was wandering around sim hopping I cam across this one that was full of things from childhood. Hopscotch, blocks, rainbows and a carosel. It seemed like the perfect backdrop to the outfit/look, at least in my head.

Hazy Sunny Day

I don't know about where you live, but where I am it is down right freezing. In an insane effort to warm myself up I decided to hit the beach in SL.
I tucked a flower behind my ear and donned a little top and comfortable skirt and hit the beach. Sometimes it helps to imagine yourself some place warm. I am thinking today I need to seek out the fires of Hell to warm myself!
This trip to the beach also afforded me the chance to wear one of the belly rings I picked up at Oh My Gacha earlier in the month. What can I say when it's cold I tend to keep my belly covered up.

An Afternoon Treat

Some days you just need to take the time to treat yourself. There is a bakery near me that I go to to treat myself. They make the most incredible truffles.
My favorite truffle will always be the "Peter Rabbit" one which is a carrot cake truffle, so yummy! Of course some days I also need a caffeine boost in the afternoon.

I missed my calling

I always wanted to be a figure skater and I had dreams of Olympic Gold. However the North Pole doesn't get represented in the games. You see the big man thinks that 1. It would give away the secrets of Christmas if we competed 2. We would have an unfair advantage, something about inherent grace. Oh well I can still dream right?
I do adore getting out on the ice and swirling and twirling around like a ballerina, only on the ice.
Maybe you would like to try your luck on the ice. It is really great fun and then there is always hot chocolate afterwards!

Sexy Things

It's another installment of Lola and Phire dress alike. Of course Lola is in the dark color while I am all pure and innocent. We are like twins and she is the evil one, don't you think she looks like the evil one?

Heading "South"

Now when you live at the North Pole pretty much everywhere is South. I decided to take a little trip down south to see how the human world celebrated Christmastime.
I am sure I would have gotten some funny looks about not wearing a coat in the snow if I had run into any humans, but I was safe. See being from the North Pole I have a high tolerance for the cold and snow.
Of course my cheeks don't get all chilled like a humans, mine get all blushed and covered in stars. If you ever see a human look like this it means there is North Pole elf blood in them, no matter how diluted. I was a little upset while on my trip though.
I mean is the seriously what humans think we North Pole elves do all the time? I mean we live normal lives too you know. I mean sure the toy making is a year round thing, but we do eat more than cookies! And we know more than just Christmas songs. You humans don't sing them year round do you? I didn't think so! I am going to leave before I rant some more. Back to the North Pole I go!

A gothy little elfy

I am sure you all expect elves at the North Pole to be all sunshine and rainbows, and well we are...usually. Sometimes however I like to explore my darker side. In all honesty it doesn't exactly come naturally.
I try to look all dark and stuff, but the cute is just who I am. I will tell you a secret though. You all know how when you are naughty Santa leaves you coal. Well here is the thing. It's not really coal, it actually petrified elf poop. So see when you really piss off the big man he literally gives you shit for Christmas. If he thinks you need a reminder to be better he leaves you socks and underwear. Like I said it's a secret, but since I like you all I thought I would give you a heads up.
Now go forth and stay on the nice list...unless you want crap for Christmas.

My Home - The Upper Loft

Lat week I showed off my igloo home. I may have mentioned that it is bigger on the inside than it looks. There are actually 3 floors and I share the igloo with a few others. Today I am going to show off the upper loft. Other than my bedroom this is where I spend most of my time...when I am not feasting on cookies that is.
Before you ask, no I do not have a Christmas tree up year round, that would just be silly! This the the couch where I chill out after work most days. I don't think I told you what I do up at the North Pole. Well you know all those letters the children send? Well my job it to catalog the wishlist of the letter writer, that way after Santa is done checking the list we start filling orders.
Some days I will finish up at home or just work from home for the day. The big man doesn't care as long as the work gets done on time. He's the best boss anyone could ask for.
I am not above taking the occasional hot cocoa break during the day, or even the evening. It's always the right time for cocoa afterall. My favorite has just a hint of mint to it, so yum! I will continue my tour of the house on another day. Until then remember...you better be good for goodness sake!

Living at the North Pole

I don't know what movies are trying to convince you humans, but we elves do not live in a cute little village of adorable wood houses. Have you seen the North Pole? There isn't a tree around anywhere! Yes, we have wood to make the toys, but it is to make the toys with. Would you like to see where I really live?
That's right I live in an igloo. I know what you are thinking, but it's bigger on the inside I swear. Maybe on another day I will show you around the inside.
This is my pet Penn, he likes to play with his ice cubes. I made them to look like a child's blocks. I am trying to teach him to spell "Merry Christmas", but it is not going to well. I also have some neighbors...
The polar bear family may look fierce but they are more like teddy bears. They are always out playing together, it warms my little elven heart.

I don't know about you, but I am beat from this weekend! So many sales and events all seemed to start at once. My girl Lola took me to Kustom9 and I will be honest I had never been. Hey it's hard to keep all these events straight.
I am a sucker for big cozy sweaters in RL and in SL so of course I had to play the gacha machine at Kustom9 and one of the colors I got was this lovely minty color. I think mint is my favorite color, behind yellow of course. I also picked up the pants you see me wearing. One can never have too many pairs of pants in my opinion.
While there I also played the gacha to get these birds that are made from keyboard keys. They are odd and quirky and seemed just like the thing to have in my bedroom. Now I must go sort through all the other goodies I got so I can get around to blogging them too.

Must Have Coffee!

My morning routine in fairly simple, it follows three steps once I am out of bed. Step one...stumble into the kitchen in the coziest jammies on hand. Or the mans shirt, either one works.
Step two...stare at the coffee waiting for it to magically fill, then realize I need to push the brew button.
Step three...wandering into the living room, set the coffee down till it is no longer hot enough to melt the hardest of metals.
Obviously others have been awake before me since there is hot chocolate already on the table. There is not nearly enough caffeine in hot chocolate to get me moving in the morning! You have to love the holidays, but only because I get to sleep in for a little bit longer.

Lunch Date

The man is off the rest of the week for Thanksgiving, and because he needs to use up some of his vacation days. That means..lunch date and that is what inspired these pictures.
Here I am heading off to the restaurant to meet him for lunch, not everyone get the day off after all. I do look fabulous, but these shoes are a killer!
Of course he is late. I swear the man can't get anywhere on time. At least it gives me a chance to kick up my heels. It may have been a short walk, but any walk in heels can be a killer. He finally arrived and we had a lovely lunch. You don't want to see pictures of it I promise. I am not the neatest of eaters.
No matter how wonderful lunch is I still need that afternoon pick me up. I nice little vanilla latte is just the thing to keep me going till I park it on the couch when I get home.

Late night or early morning?

So am I doing the walk of shame or am I just ready to head to work bright and early? Hmmm maybe the glittery dress is a little too much for the office huh? Okay I admit it, I was out late with this guy who used to be in a marching band, and well I may have nicked his jacket on my way out the door. Paperdolls - Day Four

Today is a retro look. I got a little creative with the belt on this one. Well I guess wearing it backwards isn't all that creative, but it worked.
I didn't take the time to pull out my scooter for the pictures because I think I took them on a restart Tuesday and was being chased around the grid. One thing I don't always have is patience. If I did my pictures would probably be more epic than these.

Paperdolls - Day Three

Today's doll has a nautical thing going on so I chose to head out into the world and find a fitting place to take some pictures.
It was kind of hard to find a skirt that worked with the mesh jacket. A lot of the skirts I had picked, with the blue and white were too poofy or too high waisted to work with the jacket. I have to say I am still, in my oh so humble opinion, adorable.

Paperdolls - Day one

I know not a very creative title. Here is the premise for this series of posts, for a while on plurk Aevalah would post a paperdoll link and a bunch of us would make one and share them. I thought it would be fun to try and mirror those looks in SL, with a little creative license because some things are harder to find than others.
This is the first one I attempted. As you can see I tried to keep the basics the same, but changed up the socks and things like that. For the record all the peperdolls this week are going to be of the non-fantasy type, because those are so much harder.
Oh and I tried to pick things with various colors so you won't be seeing a weeks worth of yellow.

What am I going to do?

Halloween have been over for almost two weeks now and I still have pumpkins all around. I am at a loss as to what to do with them. I mean look at this MASSIVE one.
I mean I guess I could carve a door into and and maybe some windows and live in it like Peter's wife.
Maybe I can make something with these little ones. Pumpkin pie maybe, or perhaps pumpkin bread? I shall ponder these options while you read the credits.
