Little Red Robyn Hood

By now everyone knows the story of little red riding hood and that of Robin Hood, but did you know they both dwelled in the same forest? That's right Sherwood forest and the forest that red riding hood traveled in are the same. It's no wonder then that to two met. We all know that Robin Hood ended up going off and marrying Maid Marion, but did you know that before all that happened he had an affair with a grown Red Riding Hood? It's true and from this affair came a child that Robin Hood never knew.

Her name was Little Red Robyn Hood. Her mother named her Robyn after her father, but kept that little detail to herself. Robyn was as skilled with a bow and arrow as her well known father. She also donned her mother's infamous red hood.

In a way Robyn was like her father. She used her skills with a bow and arrow protect those who could not pretect themselves. She would never steal, not even from the rich. She was always keeping an eye out in the forest for trouble.

Maybe one day her mother will reveal the truth,or maybe someone will wise up and see the similarity between Robin and Robyn?

Pink Princess

I have decided that this week I shall dress as a princess all week. See it's my birthday this week and I figured what better way to celebrate than be a pretty princess all week. I don't know it's just the way my brain happens to work, go figure. I am starting off the week looking pretty in pink, it happens to be my little princess's favorite color.

One of the things I keep telling myself I will learn one of these years is how to play the piano. I am not exactly talented when it comes to the musical department. I have never played an instrument for longer than a few weeks, though I think my parents are grateful the drums were so short lived. I am also fairly certain I couldn't carry a tune with even the largest of buckets, but I digress.

Maybe I will put playing the piano into my list of things I will do at some time, for now I will go and plot my other princess-y looks.

Playing at Punk

I am not a very punk girl, but I can play one in SL. I know very little of punk music if we are being completely honest, but that is the category at Rhapsody that my tied shirt and poses come from.

The pose set is named Joan, and if the names of the individual poses are any clue then I can saying guess they were named after Joan Jett songs. I know these songs very well because when I was little my sister used to play her record all the time. I used to sing along to "I love Rock n Roll" all the time. I was little and it was cute, or at least that is what I am told.

Bikini Beach Bum

As I warned the other day it is summer here in the Northern Hemisphere and so you will have lots of summer posts from me. Today is no exception. With Summerfest '14 in full swing I thought it only fitting to hit the beach in some of my new pretties. I of course didn't want to go in the water and mess up my hair so I chilled on the dock and watched the sun set.

I was all set with cushion and drinks. I could have stayed out there for hours after the sun set to watch the stars come to life.
The setting sun allowed my to slide my shades up as my feet dangled in the water. You couldn't ask for a more perfect day at the beach, though I could have used some company. Maybe next time I will invite some friends along for the fun.

After all summer is just getting started and I have many more bikinis and pairs of sunglasses to wear!

Vicars and Tarts

I was invited to a Vicars and Tarts party so I decided to channel my inner Bridget Jones, though hopefully with less embarrassment. I decided though that bunnies were over rated and wondered that the biggest diva would look like tarted up in a corset. Which diva you ask? Why Miss Piggy of course. I got myself all dressed up, but was a little trepidacious of stepping out of the dressing room.
It took me a few minutes to get my confidence up, but then I had to check myself from all angles. I mean no one wants things drooping or jiggling out of place.

With everything all in place I think I am ready to head out.

Bunny Time

Stretching Her Legs

...continued from yesterday.
After the mermaid awoke the man found an old pair of his pajama bottoms and tank top for her to wear. He set her up in his spare room with all the things one would normally have to get better. Of course the poor dear was not at all used to sleeping in a human bed. She found herself tossing and turning trying to find the right position.

Once the mermaid was feeling up to it, and the young man had time to go out and get some proper clothes for her, he took her out to explore his village. The first stop was to get her hair trimmed as she had trouble seeing through her long hair. He allowed her to wander around on her own, though he always kept her in eyesight, just in case. She was almost instantly drawn to the fountain in the the center of the town.

The spray of the water reminded her of her own home under the sea. The water had no effect on her fins however because it was fresh water and not the salt water like home. It made her long for her own home, but she also wanted to stay with the young man who had been so kind and loving to her. Her heart was being pulled in two different directions.

Blood Lace

It's been a few days since I got off my arse and blogged. I swear it's not because I am a slacker. It's just that I have been taking a bunch of pictures and trying to mentally write the post to go with them. It's one of my stories so you know it's going to have multiple parts. However I should be focusing on the picture above huh? The dress is a cute one from DeeTalez with optional arm warmers. Since I have been freezing the last couple of days I went with arm warmers. The lace detailing made making my shoes easy, I went with the lace booties from lassitude & ennui. I admit I am a Slink compatible shoe junkie now. To cap off the look I am wearing the latest necklace from my Lolapop!, it's a gacha that is in her store now, so you make need a couple of goes at it to get this color, but there are other colors. Princess Tea Party

What better excuse to don a tiara than to have a princess tea party? Okay I will find just about an reason to wear a tiara, but that is really besides the point here. Look at that do you see what I see? It's pink I am wearing pink! Calming Waters

Some days I can get a little overwhelmed or stressed, on those days I seek out water. There is just something to soothing about the sound of waves crashing on the shore. Going to the Ball

As everyone knows Friday was Valentine's Day. To celebrate Lola invited me to go to a Masquerade Ball and I dragged a date along with me. Because I am such a bossy pants I asked him to pick me up at my house, because I am super cheesy like that.

Luckily he is willing to put up with my whims. I let Lola pick out my dress for me, since she let me pick out hers, even if she didn't wear it. When we got to the Ball we danced the night away. I was lucky enough to grab a picture.

We made a pretty cute couple if I do say so myself. While my date was mask less I was not and I went all out with the silver and the red.

Someone needs to throw a masked ball again because it was really fun to dress up all fancy.

Platforms and Piercings

The title of the post says it all huh? The platform sneakers have been my footwear of choice lately. I think it is because of the HUD that makes them so customizable. You see I am wearing the floral shoes, but I used the glitter HUD to make the tongue yellow glitter because well it's me. For that same reason my piercing has stars. It's mod, and I did just that so it's not the way it "should" look. I asked Lola though and she said it looked fine so I went with it. can you tell I am new to this whole thing. Into Adulthood I Go

When I was wandering around sim hopping I cam across this one that was full of things from childhood. Hopscotch, blocks, rainbows and a carosel. It seemed like the perfect backdrop to the outfit/look, at least in my head.

Drink up!

Drink up everyone. I am dressed and ready to party! In fact this outfit was released at a party, go figure. I thought I would go out and have a party all my own to celebrate, also it gave me an excuse to go a little darker again. I also figure I am safe from unwanted gropings because no one is going to want to have their hand impaled on my boob spikes, or the shoulder ones for that matter.
I used the same piercing set as yesterday only this time I didn't remove most of it. I really do love piercings and should wear them more often. Not your princess

I decided to go a little darker and more bad girl today. It could be because I have been in a mood lately because of RL stuff. It's a much healthier outlet for my "mama bear" rage.

Too cold my the animals

The weather outside is bitter cold and snowy so all the animals came inside, well almost all of them.
The deer and kitty both decided to warm themselves by the fire. However Grumpy the kitty is not really digging on the deer.
I think he is just jealous because he may have gotten a little singed from the candles in the past which is why they are no longer lit.

Into the new year we go

When Lola and I get bored we decide to dress alike. It happens more often then you may realize. Last night I let Lola pick out what we should wear. Is it any surprise that it meant a wee little dress?
Since she loves me and wants me to be happy I got to wear yellow while she went with red. I know I was shocked she wasn't in purple too!
I took a lot of pictures with different windlight settings, and I mean a lot. Poor Lola's email was spammed with them. That's how it works when we take pictures together. I take the pictures and then send them all to her so she can pick her favorites. Of course since my vanity knows no bounds I always take pictures of myself, like this one...
Like I said I played with a lot of windlight settings last night. The credits for the clothes and hair are the same so if you like what you see I got you covered. If you want to know something specific that Lola is wearing just let me know and I will beat it out of her...erm I mean ask er nicely.

Heading "South"

Now when you live at the North Pole pretty much everywhere is South. I decided to take a little trip down south to see how the human world celebrated Christmastime.
I am sure I would have gotten some funny looks about not wearing a coat in the snow if I had run into any humans, but I was safe. See being from the North Pole I have a high tolerance for the cold and snow.
Of course my cheeks don't get all chilled like a humans, mine get all blushed and covered in stars. If you ever see a human look like this it means there is North Pole elf blood in them, no matter how diluted. I was a little upset while on my trip though.
I mean is the seriously what humans think we North Pole elves do all the time? I mean we live normal lives too you know. I mean sure the toy making is a year round thing, but we do eat more than cookies! And we know more than just Christmas songs. You humans don't sing them year round do you? I didn't think so! I am going to leave before I rant some more. Back to the North Pole I go!

A gothy little elfy

I am sure you all expect elves at the North Pole to be all sunshine and rainbows, and well we are...usually. Sometimes however I like to explore my darker side. In all honesty it doesn't exactly come naturally.
I try to look all dark and stuff, but the cute is just who I am. I will tell you a secret though. You all know how when you are naughty Santa leaves you coal. Well here is the thing. It's not really coal, it actually petrified elf poop. So see when you really piss off the big man he literally gives you shit for Christmas. If he thinks you need a reminder to be better he leaves you socks and underwear. Like I said it's a secret, but since I like you all I thought I would give you a heads up.
Now go forth and stay on the nice list...unless you want crap for Christmas.
