Thoughtful Spot

      I tried to think of a much better title, but as usual by brain is fried. I have just finished (mostly) with moving so things are in a state of disarray. I will quite with the whining because I look to pretty, in my opinion, to be whining. Take a look for yourself...



      I love the way the this whole look turned out that I haven't changed it yet. My face sort of reminds me of Kira from The Dark Crystal, which I am totally down with. Here have a closer look.

I missed my calling

I always wanted to be a figure skater and I had dreams of Olympic Gold. However the North Pole doesn't get represented in the games. You see the big man thinks that 1. It would give away the secrets of Christmas if we competed 2. We would have an unfair advantage, something about inherent grace. Oh well I can still dream right?
I do adore getting out on the ice and swirling and twirling around like a ballerina, only on the ice.
Maybe you would like to try your luck on the ice. It is really great fun and then there is always hot chocolate afterwards!

Sexy Things

It's another installment of Lola and Phire dress alike. Of course Lola is in the dark color while I am all pure and innocent. We are like twins and she is the evil one, don't you think she looks like the evil one?
It drives her nuts when I call her the evil twin, but seriously she was grabbing my bum the whole time we were taking pictures! Just because these corsets and dresses from Sakide made it easier for her to be grabby is no excuse!

Heading "South"

Now when you live at the North Pole pretty much everywhere is South. I decided to take a little trip down south to see how the human world celebrated Christmastime.
I am sure I would have gotten some funny looks about not wearing a coat in the snow if I had run into any humans, but I was safe. See being from the North Pole I have a high tolerance for the cold and snow.
Of course my cheeks don't get all chilled like a humans, mine get all blushed and covered in stars. If you ever see a human look like this it means there is North Pole elf blood in them, no matter how diluted. I was a little upset while on my trip though.
I mean is the seriously what humans think we North Pole elves do all the time? I mean we live normal lives too you know. I mean sure the toy making is a year round thing, but we do eat more than cookies! And we know more than just Christmas songs. You humans don't sing them year round do you? I didn't think so! I am going to leave before I rant some more. Back to the North Pole I go!

A gothy little elfy

I am sure you all expect elves at the North Pole to be all sunshine and rainbows, and well we are...usually. Sometimes however I like to explore my darker side. In all honesty it doesn't exactly come naturally.
I try to look all dark and stuff, but the cute is just who I am. I will tell you a secret though. You all know how when you are naughty Santa leaves you coal. Well here is the thing. It's not really coal, it actually petrified elf poop. So see when you really piss off the big man he literally gives you shit for Christmas. If he thinks you need a reminder to be better he leaves you socks and underwear. Like I said it's a secret, but since I like you all I thought I would give you a heads up.
Now go forth and stay on the nice list...unless you want crap for Christmas.

My Home - The Upper Loft

Lat week I showed off my igloo home. I may have mentioned that it is bigger on the inside than it looks. There are actually 3 floors and I share the igloo with a few others. Today I am going to show off the upper loft. Other than my bedroom this is where I spend most of my time...when I am not feasting on cookies that is.
Before you ask, no I do not have a Christmas tree up year round, that would just be silly! This the the couch where I chill out after work most days. I don't think I told you what I do up at the North Pole. Well you know all those letters the children send? Well my job it to catalog the wishlist of the letter writer, that way after Santa is done checking the list we start filling orders.
Some days I will finish up at home or just work from home for the day. The big man doesn't care as long as the work gets done on time. He's the best boss anyone could ask for.
I am not above taking the occasional hot cocoa break during the day, or even the evening. It's always the right time for cocoa afterall. My favorite has just a hint of mint to it, so yum! I will continue my tour of the house on another day. Until then remember...you better be good for goodness sake!

Living at the North Pole

I don't know what movies are trying to convince you humans, but we elves do not live in a cute little village of adorable wood houses. Have you seen the North Pole? There isn't a tree around anywhere! Yes, we have wood to make the toys, but it is to make the toys with. Would you like to see where I really live?
That's right I live in an igloo. I know what you are thinking, but it's bigger on the inside I swear. Maybe on another day I will show you around the inside.
This is my pet Penn, he likes to play with his ice cubes. I made them to look like a child's blocks. I am trying to teach him to spell "Merry Christmas", but it is not going to well. I also have some neighbors...
The polar bear family may look fierce but they are more like teddy bears. They are always out playing together, it warms my little elven heart.

Russet Retreat

The Dark Side

I know the picture is all dark and stuff but umm it lets you see the glow of the necklace better...yeah that's it. Fine fine here is a version with more light....


See I wasn't really planning on blogging this look but then someone said something and well I couldn't just let it go by because it made me laugh. Elegant Elf

As part of the the Fantasy Faire there is an auction going on. There are so many wonderful things and yesterday Sakura showed off a skin that could be yours. Today is my turn and I am going to show off a glamorous gown.


I styled the gown with all the pieces to look a little classier, like a princess hard at work in the court.


You see all the frills and things just seemed to say make me look like a grow up, but when I took off the frills all bets are off.


I let my hair down and had a little fun as I stripped off parts of my gown. That is usually the way it works when clothes come off right?


Now here are the important details you need to know. The auction for this dress end on the 28th, so if you want to get it you need to get yourself to the Fantasy Faire and bid! And fellas if you think this would look good on your lady then you can surprise her, because it is transfer! And if I am not mistaken all the proceeds from the auction will benefit American Cancer Societies Relay for Life, so you will be getting something and supporting a great cause!

Seashell Peach Princesses

 Sakura and I decided to channel our inner princesses this week. Of course as we were dressing (and loosely interpreting the color) Sakura commented that she is the Aria to my Sansa (just go with us here). For those who don't get it, she just means she is a tomboy princess to my pretty princess.

 We used the new Nose Up poses for our individual shots because well Sakura made them for the Pose Fair that starts Sunday and we felt like being mean teases. Besides snooty princesses need to raise their nose as others right?

Something punny should go here

No punny or witty title for the post today because I can't think of one. Oh well not the first time. Lets get right to the outfit shall we? See the top, it is a sheer cardi from Sn@tch, no seriously it is. It's a very subtle sheer, not a "here are my boobs sheer", which works for me just fine. Afterall a girl needs to leave a little mystery sometimes. Now onto the skirt. After I bought the sweaters I was thinking about what to wear with them. I wandered into GField for something and when I saw these skirts I just knew. It was fate really, or at least good timing.


I may have gone overboard with the green, but see fall is fast approching here in New England and sooner then I know it where will be no green in sight. Oh well at least I we get the blasted with golds, reds and rust colors before the green hides away for the winter.

I needed to title the post something didn't I? I have been playing with this look for days adding this, changing that and I forced myself to stop and blog it before I became too obsessed.

I started with the dress, but then thought it was a little bare so I added the sweater vest. Now I was all cute and cozy. Next it was onto hair. I pulled out this Argrace hair that I bought at the hair fair, but haven't worn because it was sooo popular around the time of the hair fair. You know blogger overkill and all so I tucked it safely away for just the right time.

I went through several different pairs of shoes before deciding on these flats that Sakura made. She doesn't know how she feels about them so who knows if they will ever be sold.

The skin is one that has been blogged a ton lately because it is one of the Pink Fuel ones from the Valentine's fair. So I guess I am not as original as I had hoped, but I do have an eye patch! Before I was done I needed a necklace. After going through a few I found the perfect one from Violet Voltaire. Did you know she was making jewelry in RL now too. Check out her Artfire page!
