Planning Dinner

Sometimes I like to be a good wife and make a nice dinner, it's rare, but it does happen. Today happened to be one of those days. I figured after a long work week he would enjoy a romantic home cooked meal. I started by picking out some flowers for the table, mostly because I like having fresh flowers in the house.

It was a tough choice, I mean I adore tulips, but maybe some roses would be my appropriate for a romantic dinner at home. I won't bore you with the details of shopping for all the things to make dinner with. Though you can see a bit of the ingredients poking out of my shopping bag.

Hopefully it will be a nice surprise and a great way to kick off a nice relaxing weekend together.

Modern Deity

Who wouldn't want to worship a Deity? I mean how casual and cool does she look? The reason I am calling her a Deity is because the skin is from We (heart) Roleplay. Now for the record you don't have to be into roleplay to find something there to tickle your fancy. The skin was named for a goddess so I decided to make a modern goddess of love and fertility. What goddess wouldn't want to wear a mini skirt?  Or maybe it's just how I would dress. I will let you ponder that while perusing the credits.

Boned in Purple

That may not be the most tasteful of blog post titles, but it makes some sense. Well when you see the close up picture you see the bone details in the jewelry, but you can see my lovely ribs. And coffee because every day needs coffee!
Now you can see the jewelry and everything else better. Isn't it pretty? The set actually has a circlet too, but that would have looked kinda silly with everything else I am wearing. I think I should stop typing since I have lost my train of thought.

Springtime Yellow

I will not lie, I get all excited when I see something new and yellow is an option. Today's post is showing off two new(er) releases that have yellow! The first is the new mesh dress from Sn@tch. LOTD - The Corseted Lady

Every once in a while I like to look all classy and fancy. Today was one of those days. I am starting to get over whatever ick plagued me this week. The two newest items in today's look are both from Lassitude & Ennui and are both for different events. The corset can be gotten at Adore & Abhor's 5 year anniversary. There are great things from many designers there for the celebration. The second it the collar that is available at L'Accessoires. As tempting as it was to blog the corset with the tatas out, I figured I would shock the masses by being more demure for once.

The Green Team

I was all set to do the typical skin fair skin post, but then half way through I changed my mind. Figures right? So instead of pictures of all the skins and the details, you get to see my strange little super heroine group. First up is The Incredible Phire Hulk! My 9 year old said I looked like She Hulk so I went with it.

She is really a lot stronger than she looks, trust me! Next in the line up is The Reluctant Killer. If you take a look her face looks so young and innocent, hence the reluctant part.

She looks pretty fierce in her bone armor. And he scythe could really mess a person up. Following the killer is the Fearless Fae.

She may be small but she can get into all those places the others can't.  Not to mention she has all those special powers that no one can quite understand. Last, but certainly not least is their leader, The Alien Queen!

She is like Professor X only green and will boobs. Oh and hair, she has hair. She got her name because when I was out shopping dressed like her last night someone called me a beautiful ET.

This look started off innocently enough with the tank top. Then my wanna be bad ass side came out to play. It doesn't happen unplanned all that often, but when it does it goes full out. I ended up running out to buy the earrings because nothing I had seemed to fit. I did have everything else on hand though. Playing with Patterns - Florals

Today is the last installment of my "Playing with Patterns" posts. While it was only four days, it was a fun four days. Today I played with floral patterns. It was a bit trickier than I had expected. Charcoal Coziness

It makes me giggle having doing the charcoal post in December. I mean it is what I threaten the kids Santa will leave them. Well that and underwear. However there is no underwear to be seen in this post.

I keep trying to come up with good titles to go with the color names and my pictures but man is it hard. Especially since I love alliteration and I can't really pull that off with some colors, like this one. I mean I am sure if I spent more time on it I could have.

Zombie Week - Day Five

Now I now most people here Zombie and they think brain munching monsters, but there is more to us zombies than that! I for instance still enjoy the finer things in life, like wonderful piano music.
