A Pirate Story Part Two

            When Morgana woke up the following morning she found a beautiful gown draped next to her. She has no idea who is was from or who had spotted her, but since it covered her much more than what she was wearing she put it on. Once dressed she spotted a ship in the cove below her, it felt like ages since she had been the captain of her own vessel.

           She lusted after the ship terribly and was lost to her own thoughts. She was staring dreamily at the ship as a stranger approached. He said to her, "I see you are staring at my ship.", needless to say this startled her greatly as she did not hear his approach.

               He didn't let on that he knew her to be the much famed Captain Morgana, but all good pirates knew who she was. He invited her to join him on his ship. Having few options available to her and with much caution she decided to join him. They sailed far from the archipelago that had caused her so much grief. She taught him how to be a feared but just pirate as they sailed the seas together. Overtime they took their fortune and sailed off into the sunset, putting their pirating days behind them.

A Pirate Story - Part One

              Long ago in a far away land there was a pirate who sailed the seas. She was the much feared Captain Morgana. One days she sailed her ship too close to an island in an archipelago and was captured by the king's Navy. These men had her caged and brought to the king. He then ordered the men to place her in a secret location in the castle. This is where the king kept his human prizes. He and the lords or his court would stare with their beady eyes at all the ladies kept there. Once a day a shaft of light would land on her cage and it allowed her to keep hope alive.

                        One day after the cage was cleaned the guard did not snap the lock tight on her cage. This was her chance to escape! She quietly followed the route she glimpsed the lords taking each time they visited the secret rooms. After some trial and error she was finally free of the castle. She allowed herself one moment to pause and breath deeply the sweet salty air of freedom before looking for a means to getting away from the castle.

           She stumbled upon a rowboat and set off rowing to her what she hoped was safety. She rowed all night and into the morning trying to put as much distance between her and the island of the awful king. As she tired she accidentally steered her rowboat into some rocks. As her rowboat started to sink she made her way onto the island she crashed ashore on.

             Knowing the beaches low ground would leave her vulnerable she started climbing the hills of the island attempting to seek higher ground. She finally made it to the top of one of the tall hills on the island. It provided a good view of the main village of the island.

            Afterwards she found a seemingly safe spot to sleep and drifted off feeling free for the first time in ages. To be continued...

The Poetry Muses

I like to thinks that there are muses for all sorts of things, like poetry. I also like to think they are specialized and need to recharge their musing powers. For today I have selected three of the poetry muses. First we will look at the one who inspires poems about the woods and tress and such.

When this muse needs to recharge she seeks refuge in the forest surrounded but all the trees. She communes with the trees and after a while she feels rested and rejuvenated enough to go out and inspire sylvan poems.
The next muse is like a sister to the Muse of Sylvan Poetry, she is the Muse of Flowers.

I am sure that it comes as no surprise that she finds flowers to have a restorative quality. She wanders fields of breathing in deeply the fragrance of the flowers growing there. When she is ready she goes off to inpire poets to write about the beauty of flowers in many ways. The last muse I was able to come across is the Night Muse, she inspires all those poems about the night, the moon and the stars. Some of my favorite things.

This muse rarely needs to seek out a special place to recharge as the night comes well nightly.She gazes upon the moon and stars in the dark sky. She finds that she feels the most power radiating from a full moon on a cloudless night. By day she is out there helping poets write about that time that she holds so dear. There was one other poetry muse out there, but she was very elusive and I never was able to track her down. She is the Muse of Hearts, she inspires all those heartfelt poems that lovers, or ex-lovers write. Maybe she has her own lover that she draws upon. If that is the case then maybe that is why I never saw her?

Stargazer Clubhouse

A Duck Out Of Water

It's time for another Disney Bounding post, this time it is Daisy Duck. I Always thought that Daisy was a diva compared to Minnie Mouse, but they both have been in love with their men, er animals umm well you know, for a very long time. How she puts up with Donald's anger issues is beyond me.
Styling Daisy was fun for me, though it did involve a whole lot of white, something I don't generally have a lot of.

The Green Team

I was all set to do the typical skin fair skin post, but then half way through I changed my mind. Figures right? So instead of pictures of all the skins and the details, you get to see my strange little super heroine group. First up is The Incredible Phire Hulk! My 9 year old said I looked like She Hulk so I went with it.

She is really a lot stronger than she looks, trust me! Next in the line up is The Reluctant Killer. If you take a look her face looks so young and innocent, hence the reluctant part.

She looks pretty fierce in her bone armor. And he scythe could really mess a person up. Following the killer is the Fearless Fae.

She may be small but she can get into all those places the others can't.  Not to mention she has all those special powers that no one can quite understand. Last, but certainly not least is their leader, The Alien Queen!

She is like Professor X only green and will boobs. Oh and hair, she has hair. She got her name because when I was out shopping dressed like her last night someone called me a beautiful ET.
