Sunshine-y

I know I am on a green kick but that doesn't mean I can't still indulge in my love for yellow. Who can resist a dress like reminds them of a beautiful sunrise?

Originally I had planned on taking some cute vacation pictures to go with this summer look, but as usual I was being too darn picky. So instead I went a little more simple. Today will be a short post since I hear laundry and dishes calling to me.

The Cabaret Singer

He sits alone illuminated by light,
The soft gentle glow of a single candle

Wardrobe Basics - The Pencil Skirt

Okay so it's not exactly a pencil skirt, but it's a pretty one and you could get the same look with a "real" pencil skirt

I am fairly certain that a black skirt, whether it's a pencil one or not, is something almost all of us have. This time I styled it more as a day to night look...maybe. Either way that is today's take on the wardrobe basics.

I suck at titles

So lame title for such a cute little look huh? The darkness is done at least for a little while. Well I I guess the brown in the shirt is dark, but that isn't the kind of dark I was talking about so really I have no point. Moving along, I am sure I am not the first person to walk into pesca (the brown shirt I just mentioned is from there though you could have learned that from the credits) and shop, but I do love when I stumble across a new to me store. It's like finding buried treasure or something along those lines.

The colors I chose may be more suited to the fall I guess but well it is cold in other parts of the world now so umm we will pretend I was dressing for their weather. Hope everyone is having a loverly day and I shall be moving along now.

I want some sun!

It's been raining all week in my area so as I do when that happens I went to soak up some virtual sun. Luckily I have a couple of new bikinis to chose from

And by couple I mean two styles in a bunch of colors, but you only get to see two on me. And shocker...I am not wearing the yellow striped version!

And yes that is blond hair you see upon my head. It happens sometimes, not often, but sometimes. Now if RL can take a hint from SL and give me some sun I will be one happy girl.

Pose Fair times!

This is the post where I tell you Faery has released a set of couples poses at the pose fair and the are fantastic....here take a look.




I can't decide, but I think the last one may be my favorite. Poor Phlint (that's his name don't judge) has no shoes because I am just mean to him that way. However I am wearing a pair of shoes that will be available tomorrow at the Fantasy Faire from lassitude and ennui. They come in other colors, but I happen to be wearing the silver. Phire's Alice in Wonderland

I figure if Tim Burton can have one I can too. In my Wonderland the Flowers would be huge and vibrantly colored.

I tried to keep with the blond haired, blue and white wearing Alice, but I of course had to add my own spin.

She looks a little sexier I think but still having some youthful femininity to her.

Alice is the last of my Wonderland characters with a twist of Phire. Hmmm that sounds like a good cocktail, maybe I should hit the local liquor store and start mixing....

What's black and white and pink all over?

 

Me!!! Well okay maybe not pink all over clothing wise, but I am... oh well nevermind that. This look came about from the Easter hunt over at Cupcakes. See the vest I am wearing was an item in the hunt (only in another color) and when I tried it on I knew just how I wanted to wear it. So I dashed back to the store and bought it in the color seen here. The next thing was to find a tie. That was easy because I had seen some ties in Cherry when I was there one time getting shoes, after I had discovered there was a second floor. I can be kinda slow sometimes. The rest I had in my inventory and the look was born!

Going on an Adventure!

Getting weary from all the grid wide hunts going on? Want to do something fun and challenging? Well I have just the thing for you. Head on over to Sanu and try your luck at the latest adventure hunt. This time you will be following in Chloe's tracks to find the King of the Dale's missing keys. At the end of the quest you will find out if you are worthy of knighthood or just a thieving rogue. I will admit I did get stumped a couple of times trying to find the keys, but in the end it was completely worth it.

These are the prizes you can get from each of the keys. Each key costs 1L, but really what you get is worth so much more! There are two different lip ring options, a belly ring, ring, earrings, choker, nose stud, head dress and monocle all for the finding!

At the very end of the quest when you meet the King there is also the option to buy an add on set to the quest prizes. This include another set of earrings, monocle with dangly bits and two different style chokers. If the add on set is out of your price range there are tips jars set up so you can show Sanura how much fun you had.
