Reading in Thistle

So it has been umm....a lot of weeks since I have done one of the 52 weeks of color challenge post. To be honest I was feeling pretty down about doing them once my color partner left. But I have been working hard the last couple of weeks to get caught up and didn't want to start posting them till I was. Anyway on with the color! This week is Thistle if you couldn't guess...

I'm on a boat!

In Phire fantasy land I was invited onto a yacht. Of course I said yes, I mean who wouldn't right?

At first I was a little nervous. I mean I am a decent swimmer, but I didn't exactly have my sea legs.

 Well we busted out the champagne and that is when I started to loosen up. Yeah I think I just called myself loose. Oh well, no real shame in that.

Well okay the look on my face in this picture could be considered cause some shame, but does anyone really look fabulous when laughing like a loon? This could be why my friends don't let me out of my skybox often.....

Girly LOTD

Maybe more womanly than girly, either way certainly more feminine than I usually dress.



I'm not gonna lie though, I am a sucker for a pretty dress, especially when they are mesh. I like being able to lounge about without a skirt impaling the sofa, chair or whatever I am resting my butt on. But you don't need to hear about me lazing about all over SL.

Four Sisters

There were for sisters who decided that as a gift for their mother they would have their photo taken together. Each one was always busy in with their own lives so it was rare for them to be together. The photographer tried his best to get a group picture.



This was the best he could accomplish. No one wanted to follow his directions. So he suggested maybe a lovely portraits. So he took a photo of each girl. First was the er more "sophisticated" of the bunch and by sophisticated I mean stuck up.


Next he he snapped a picture of the more reserved sister, you know the kind that is all calm in public but wild when home and relaxed.


After her was the free spirit of the bunch, some would call her immature, but I think she is just fun loving.


Last but certainly not least was the "black sheep" of the group. She had just gotten back from one of her wild adventures hours before the photo shoot was to take place. Her sisters don't quite get her, but she is okay with that.

Incorrigible Iron

Sakura and I have been having so much fun together taking our pictures. Of course there are times when we get a little crazy. This week was one of them. I think the first picture was the only "serious" one we took. We shouldn't be allowed toys that lets us make faces and set our eyes to certain positions.....seriously this is that happens when we do.

The Boss

Miss Phire may be one of the youngest owners of a house of ill repute, but don't let her sweet appearance fool you, she can be quiet feisty. She has the best girls in town and all the men know it.


She walks about the town like she owns the place and in a way it may be she does. You see in her line of work her girls become privy to many an intimate secret which Miss Phire uses to her advantage. It's a good thing the men of the town have loose lips of she could have been run out of town ages ago.


Miss Phire is always on the lookout for a new girl to satisfy the needs of her clientele. She is very good to all her girls though and doesn't let a thing ever get out of hand.

Opal vs. Pearl

Once upon a time there were two witches, Opal and Pearl. Opal and Pearl happened to be sisters and as it happens sometimes one was good and the other, well not so much.



Now Opal tried her hardest not to fight with Pearl, but some things just can not be avoided so Opal was forced to curse Pearl.






Needless to say Pearl was never troubled Opal again.

Lyla

It's a new day so that means it's time for a new student from Hell High. Her name is Lyla, which seems fitting for a werewolf.

Lyla is the tomboy of the school. She is a tough girl who doesn't take crap from anyone. She finds "regular" humans too weak to even bother with so she only really hangs out with the other powerful girls in the school. She does have a bitchy side as well, which explains why she and Salitha are sometimes seen hanging out together in the halls of Hell High.

It's Fall now!

Fall is my favorite season I think. It has the best smells, and I do love being able to wear my cute sweaters and layer thing up. And the sun is still shining bright, not all hidden by grey clouds like in the winter.

Walking the red carpet

Lemony newness

Today is a multitasking Wednesday. You see I needed to squeeze in the Lemon color for the 52 weeks of color challenge and I wanted to show off the new skirts from Rebel X. As I am sure you have guessed by now the hair fair has started. Of course I have new hair to show off, but I am trying to figure out a way to do it that is all "Oh hai here is hair go buy". I am still a week behind on my colors, so today I am going to catch up with denim. This time I have layered a denim bustier over a cute little dress. I think it sasses it up a little bit. I suck at titles

So lame title for such a cute little look huh? The darkness is done at least for a little while. Well I I guess the brown in the shirt is dark, but that isn't the kind of dark I was talking about so really I have no point. Moving along, I am sure I am not the first person to walk into pesca (the brown shirt I just mentioned is from there though you could have learned that from the credits) and shop, but I do love when I stumble across a new to me store. It's like finding buried treasure or something along those lines.

The colors I chose may be more suited to the fall I guess but well it is cold in other parts of the world now so umm we will pretend I was dressing for their weather. Hope everyone is having a loverly day and I shall be moving along now.

I love light yellow almost as much as I love brighter yellows. So this color was an easier one for me.
