Music Man

I have a confession to make. I am a sucker for a man that can play an instrument. I especially go weak in the knees for those that can play the guitar or piano. Maybe it comes from having zero musical talent myself, who knows. I would be lying if I said that I haven't begged a few people to play for me in the past. It just makes me giddy when they agree. Maybe one day I will learn how to play something myself, but for now I am more than happy to enjoy the talents of others. If the way to a mans heart is through his stomach then the way to my heart is through music.

Less Than Fifty Shades of Phire

I have been holding out on posting this one because I wanted it to do it the day the movie came out. I admit I know nothing about the books or the movie since I have neither read nor seen either.

This huge gorgeous couch is from ~Libertine~ and it seats, well a lot of people. It's broken up into five different areas and there are a bunch of options in each one. I tried to keep it pretty clean today, but I promise you there are some more...frisky poses in it. One, two, three of you having some fun while others watch, hey it's up to you. A Winter Stroll

There is new men's hair out at Exile today and I thought I would have a little fun. I let Phlint out of his cage and took him shopping. The new styles are fairly unisex so I thought I would do a "Who Wore it Best" type of deal. That is why Phlint and I look like a matchy matchy couple. We are both wearing the same sweaters and scarves though the scarves are different colors.
I think I look adorable with short hair.

Lizzie Borden - Vampire Slayer

So you may or may not be familiar with Lizzie Borden so here is a little rhyme that children used to skip rope to...

Lizzie Borden took an axe 

And gave her mother forty whacks. 

When she saw what she had done 

She gave her father forty-one. 

There are a lot of ideas as to why this happened, but I know the true story. Lizzie was a vampire slayer/demon hunter and she found out the truth about her father and step mother. They weren't human at all and she needed to deal with them accordingly. Some may think that this was a one time deal, but I have uncovered photos to the contrary, and they have been lovingly colorized for modern times.
As you can see from the photo Lizzie would sneak up on unsuspecting vampires as they rose from their mausoleums in the early hours of the evening.

She would strike quickly, dealing a lethal blow before they ever saw it coming.

She would leave her victims there are a warning to others knowing that when the sun rose it would obliterate all evidence of what she has been doing.

It's another Disney Bounding post, and this time it's Flotsam and Jetsam. If you don't know who they are they are the eels that were Ursula's minion in The Little Mermaid. Bump and Grind

A little 50 Shades for your Friday. This is my little Bump and Grind picture. This one was a little hard for me because I am so indecisive sometimes, and this was one of those times. A Whole New World

I had to title this post the way I did. I mean look at the first picture for Aladdin and Jasmine. I an not going to admit to how many looks I tried before I settled on this outfit for my Jasmine.
This picture was a total accident. I took one where "Aladdin's" eyes were closed and when I went to take the picture again, my eyes were closed. I hacked them together so that both our eyes were closed. It seems all sweet and loving.

At the marina

I have always loved spending the day on a boat. Most of the time it was a canoe on the river, nothing as nice as the boats in this marina. It seemed fitting to shoot pictures at a marina because of the nautical colors of the skirt.

Escaping the Darkness

Brave Merida

Brave was such a great movie and Merida is a great addition to the Disney Princesses. Not only is her mom alive, which is really rare in a Disney move, but she is one tough cookie too. The Forest Princess

I am not going to lie, I am a sucker for gowns, even though I rarely wear them. Of course I feel like a princess when I wear them. Of course the crown of flowers with antlers makes me feel even more princess-like. If you haven't guessed this gown and headpiece are both items that can be had once the Fantasy Faire opens. These items benefit RFL so you can look gorgeous for a good cause. Totally a win-win in my book.
Maybe I can pull in a handsome prince looking like this.

Hunky Dory

Styling a look after a fish was not as easy as I had thought it would be. I mean getting the colors was simple, there were only about three, but the hair that was tricky. I wanted something that seemed fin-like with out looking completely bizarre with the rest of the look. I think I pulled it off pretty well.
Still pretty and feminine but with the spiked up bits hopefully looking some what fin-like.

Peadar Pan

So I heard about this Disney Challenge and I just had to do it! This weeks challenge was Peter Pan, and well since it is St Patrick's Day today I went Gaelic righting Peter. If I screwed it up blame Google and not me okay? Oh I should show you me Peadar Pan huh?

I was a little worried that it wouldn't read as Peter Pan, so I asked my RL hubby. He took one look and said  "It's Peter Pan right?". Yup sometimes I am just that insecure. Well I am off to go drink some beer and maybe eat some gold, well chocolate coins.
