One with nature

There are a couple of events that I am hitting upon in this post, The Fantasy Gacha Carnival and We ♥ Roleplay. I went to the first of those two events with my partner in crime Lola. In fact for the most part Lola dressed me for this post. I swear every time I went AFK to work on dinner she was adding stuff to my inventory. She even picked the place for me to take pictures!

Alice in Wonderland

When I saw that Alice was chosen for Disneybound I had to remind myself that it is Disney and not they Alice I have been used to lately. I won't lie for a while I was playing Alice : Madness Returns. It's ummm darker than the Disney version for sure. It's been a long time since I have seen Alice in Wonderland and now I want to see it. My favorite scene is in the very beginning when Alice is laying in the daisies and singing about her "Wonderland".

Wannabe Smurfette

There is newness at We ♥ Roleplay this month. I was playing with a skin that is available. It's blue, and well it was suggested I be an alien, but then my inner child spoke up.
I wanted to be Smurfette! It may have stemmed from all the recent ads I have seen for the upcoming second Smurfs movie. It's fun taking something that one person sees as being perfect for one thing and turning it into something all your own. You understand what I am getting at right? Anyway here is my Smurfy face.
I am not going to lie. I had a blast pretending to be Smurfette. I mean she is literally one of a kind!

I have been out and about in SL again, though this isn't a new location, just a new spot there. Did that make any sense at all? Well I am wearing a new dress from Apple May Designs that was at a special price over the weekend. However I am a lazy bum and just blogging it today.

Miss Schweetz

It seems I am always in catch up mode. This week I am catching up with Vanellope, the adorable character from Wreck-It-Ralph. Funny story, my daughter had crazy hair day at school a while back and she wanted her hair to look like Vanellope's. So here is was trying to make candy barrettes for her hair. It wasn't pretty, but she liked them so that is all that mattered. If you haven't watched Wreck-It-Ralph you should check it out. Not only is it cute but the retro game characters will unleash your inner child.
I won't say any more on the movie, because I don't want to give anything away. This has been my attempt at Vanellope, hope you liked it.

A walk in the Park

The Treasure Hunt

It's story times kiddies! It's been a while since I was inspired to do one, but inspiration struck yesterday! I hope you enjoy.

Once day my sweetie told me to meet him at this little cafe. However when I arrived all I was greeted with was a bottle of champagne and a map.

I decided to follow the map to the bridge but I encountered a problem when I got there. How was I going to get to the other side of the island?
I wandered a bit and came across a dock. No one would mind if I borrowed a boat right? I mean I had a treasure map to follow.
When I arrived at the cave I was greeted by my sweetie.
Needless to say I was more than excited about the treasure I found where X marked the spot.

When I read that this weeks Disney character was Marie all I could think about was how Marie was the singer of the kittens. So of course I titled the post after the song from the movie. I was tempted to wear a headband with ears for it, but when with a huge pink bow instead.
I did stick with white hair and a white dress for her though, you know it be a little more like Marie.

At the marina

I have always loved spending the day on a boat. Most of the time it was a canoe on the river, nothing as nice as the boats in this marina. It seemed fitting to shoot pictures at a marina because of the nautical colors of the skirt.

I needed a dose of soft spring-like colors today. After months of dreary grey days I am looking forward to the pastel palate of Spring.
