Miss Schweetz

It seems I am always in catch up mode. This week I am catching up with Vanellope, the adorable character from Wreck-It-Ralph. Funny story, my daughter had crazy hair day at school a while back and she wanted her hair to look like Vanellope's. So here is was trying to make candy barrettes for her hair. It wasn't pretty, but she liked them so that is all that mattered. If you haven't watched Wreck-It-Ralph you should check it out. Not only is it cute but the retro game characters will unleash your inner child.
I won't say any more on the movie, because I don't want to give anything away. This has been my attempt at Vanellope, hope you liked it.

Music to Me

When I put on this shirt the music begged to be played. Sadly I have no real skills but at least with guitar in hand I can fake it.

However I don't think faking it till I make it is a good idea on this one. I don't think the neighbors would be too thrilled with my musical attempts. Perhaps I should seek help from someone with more knowledge and skills...

Dainty Dandelions

Dandelion was admittedly an easy color for me since my inventory is chock full of various shades of yellow. Hey some girls collect pink, I go for yellow.


I dug out an older outfit and went for a cute cheerleader type look this week.


While Sakura was all frills and ruffles. If you knew her as well as I do you would know this is not a normal look for her. She is usually more of a jeans wearing tomboy kinda girl. Don't tell her I told you though, she could probably kick my ass. Until next time where were will be in avocado.......man I want some guacamole now.

Sorcerer's Apprentice

After taking last week off from blogging I thought I would start this week with a quick look of the day type post. This look all started with the shoes and the watching of a movie, The Sorcerer's Apprentice. See in the movie they wear point "old man shoes" to because it helps conduct energy better or something like that. So you seen the shoes down there are pointy and they are named Arcanist shoes so you can't really blame my association right?

Queen of the Stars

Yep you see it right, stars and yellow so it must be a Phire post. That poof you see around me is the skirt of a dress, new from the Twinkle Bazaar. My loving friends have taken to calling the Twinkle Bazaar "Phire Crack" because I am sure you can guess there is a bunch of items with stars on them. Anyway the skin and makeup are also from there. As for the hair well sure it may not be my every day look, but how could I resist a color changing star crown type thing?

Oh my! Hmmm not as scary as Lions and Tigers and Bears, but those could leave you with a nasty bellyache.

Of course I am in yellow and Lola is in purple, Sakura is wearing orange which seems strange but she is rockin' it.

I don't know if it was the hotness that is Lola or if we just stuffed ourselves silly, but were were wiped from the photo shoot.

Back in action

I'm baaaaack. Now that all my knee issues are out of the way I can get back to blogging and this is my first post surgery post! I am breaking my own rules here and posting pictures with shadows. I told myself I wouldn't do it but I couldn't help myself.

I mean how cute do I look with those tights and socks? I never know how much fun layering could be. I think hanging out with Hethr has rubbed off on me. I swear she is like queen of layers. I stuck with creams and earth tones for this picture but I swear I have some bolder colors on the horizon!
