Zimmy flats lovin'

So in one of my posts yesterday I briefly touched upon the new Zimmy flats from Shiny Things. I figured today it was time to take a closer look at them, since I have been wearing them all the time.

Lets start with the colors and there are plenty to choose from.

Seriously if you can't find a color in the mix that you like well I don't know what to say other then ummm you like some out there colors. Oh yes and fear not there is a black version.

See black, and like magic one minute it has no bow and then next a bow! I personally like the bow, but if you are looking for a more understated look then I could see going bowless. You may be asking yourself, "These shoes look fab but how do they look with an outfit?". Well let's take a look shall we?


Here we have a casual look with jeans and a shirt. A great look for just hanging around and going out shopping and the shoes fit the look.


But of course if you have a date and want to look a little nicer, just toss on a dress and you are ready to go. Sadly I am all dressed up with no where to go.

Sexy Maxi

Saturday I had the privilege of attending the Gion Fashion show featuring Coco, Likka House and U&R Dogs. While watching the all the pretties walk by me I made notes on what I must get then and there, the Maxi dress was one of things on the list. The dress comes in quite a few patterns, but this one was my favorite. The back is cut so low my bum is playing peek a boo!

I will admit that I am lazy and instead of fiddling with the prims of the top and skirt I tweaked my shape. I took my pictures at the Beacon Hotel because the dress just seemed like the kind of thing you would see at a posh resort somewhere, or maybe on a cruise ship?

Oh before I forget the shoes I am wearing are on sale, along with the rest of the store at Cherry until the 17th so hurry over, you won't be sorry!

Sunny yellow

 

In my neck of the woods it has been very grey and rainy the last few days. While the rain may be great for the grass, flowers and trees it is not so good for my mood. I miss the sun! Feeling the need for a burst of yellow I donned this bright spring-like dress. It always amazes me how a burst of color, even virtual, can awaken me from the grey induced sleepiness. I wanted some cute jewelry to wear with the dress and found just the right cute and casual items from Violet Voltaire and U&R Dogs to make the look feel fresh. That lead me want an adorable skin that didn't look to made up. I think I did pretty well with this skin from Rockberry.
