Mr Smee is Me!

That's right today I am dressed and Captain Hook's faithful companion. I am still a little behind on the Disney Bounding posts, but I am catching up. I of course took some liberties with Mr. Smee, you know given that he is a chubby man and I am neither of those. I did however find a nice ship to take my pictures on, that is something, right?

Kill the Beast! So last week I wasn't very good at following the challenge directions, but this week I nailed it! This was a pretty easy look to put together since I own a fair amount of yellow. And well it happened to work out that I was able to use this new pose set.

Intoxicate Me

Is there anything more intoxicating than the scent of your lover? That one signature scent that you associate with them that makes you weak in the knees. That is what I was going for with this weeks challenge phrase/song "Intoxicate Me". What a weekend!

Too much awesome opened or was released over this past weekend! Let's see there is this months round of L'accessories, which is well all about the accessories, hats and shoes and jewelry and the like. The there is The Arcade, which is what I think gatcha heaven looks like. Last but not least there is new hair to be had from Exile, one of which I am wearing. I guess I should show you the pictures eh?

Here is a full body shot. A quick breakdown before I show the close ups. The clutch and collar are both from The Arcade, the boots are from L'accessories and the hair is obviously from Exile. Now lets move onto a closer shot of the head and collar shall we?

Now the hair comes in all the colors you expect, including the newer fusion colors (I am wearing "Leather")and there were teo other styles released, but I only have on head. The collar is from Pididdle at The Arcade and there are 15 different ones to win, one of those being the rare and elusive...well I'm gonna keep that a secret.

Well I already spoke on the collar, so I will start with the other Arcade item I am wearing, the clutch. This is one of eleven. And you should know that even though there is a yellow one, I went with the brown with red bow to tie in with everything else I was wearing. Now onto the boots. These come in six colors, each with two heel options in one pack. It's like two boots in one! These are great fall boots, or just for a pop of color like today. Well Happy Shopping dear readers.

Tyrian Purple

Hmm I couldn't think of a good title to go with this color, lets blame the lack of coffee. Oh well, on we go. Sometimes I can't seem to pick what I want to wear for a certain color so I turn to my friends. This time I showed Lola the color and she picked this dress.

Well whatever you want really. Come to think of it aren't most boots made for walking? Do many people put on a pair of boots in the morning and expect to get carried around all day....even cowboys have to walk at some point. I probably shouldn't have had that coffee.....

Bright Turquoise Babes

This time I followed Sakura's lead. She got all dressed up fancy and grown up ( for her this is fancy and grown up), so I felt like I had to as well. Of course it was pointed out to me that fancy ladies don't bare their midriff. Oh well.



Sakura is such a patient friend putting up with my picture taking, even if she does want me to do all the work. She wanted me to pick out the pose she used for her solo shot, but I am mean and said No!



Taking pictures of myself isn't as exciting though. Maybe because I do it so much? I mean sure I can be my favorite subject sometimes, but I am so glad I can drag friends into them too.

An angel, fairy and demon walk into a bar

Sounds like the beginning of a bad joke, but it's not it's the beginning to a bad Phire story. Wait my stories aren't bad! Here we go.....


Once there was a Blue Angel, a Purple Fairy and a Red Demon who decided they needed a night out so they headed to The Volcano Room. The Red Demon spotted a man sitting at the bard and decided they should have a little fun and see who could get the man to head home with them. Red the Demon loved to seduce humans so she figured it would be a cake walk. First up with Blue the Angel.


She took the approach of remaining aloof thinking that the man would easily want what it seemed he couldn't have. He eyed her up and down, but never really got up the courage to approach her. Next to try their luck was Purple the Fairy. She thought maybe cutting a rug with the man would be a good idea.


She had a blast dancing with the man and being close to him. Oh course she was too stunning to look at so the photographer completely forgot to photo her with the man. Finally it was Red's turn to take her spin with the man. She chose to do what she does best, drink with him.


Again the photographer was so entranced by her erm...assets that the man was left out of the shot yet again. I may have to fire the photographer. Sadly he didn't get a picture of who the man went home with either. I mean who could chose from all the beauties? Who would you choose?

Working hard

Things aren't all fun and games at Miss Phire's, there is real erm...work that gets done there. Some of the girls take pride in their work and invited me to visit prior to a customers arrival.


She was very kind and invited me to sit for a little chat with her. She told me that she enjoys her job and as a matter of fact the man on his way to see her is one of her regulars. She even showed off the delicate necklace that he bought her as a gift for her recent birthday.


She wouldn't tell be who her client was but I have to believe he is a man of means. Well this is my last report from Miss Phire's and it has been eye opening. I don't see a career move in my future, but at least these ladies seem to be well cared for, from what I saw.

It's Fall now!

Fall is my favorite season I think. It has the best smells, and I do love being able to wear my cute sweaters and layer thing up. And the sun is still shining bright, not all hidden by grey clouds like in the winter.

Fair Dark Mouse

Now normally I wouldn't put a gift from a fair up front and center on the blog like this, but for this set from Dark Mouse I am making an exception. You see this pearl set reminds me of the set of pearls my mom wore on her wedding day. I remember it being kept in it's jewelry store box up on a shelf in her armoire completely off limits. So this is my little way to get my hands on the pearls. Usually the jewelry Mouse makes reminds me of my grandmother, in a wonderful way, but this time it was different. There is so much to see in Mouse's booth, below is just a sampling.

Sugar and Spice

Don't I look adorable? I have been waiting for just the right dress to pair with that hair. The sweet innocence of the ivory of the dress pairs so well with the braids and bows of the hair it just makes me smile. I am a simple creature some days.
