Holiday Prep - Baking

      The holiday season is here and that is the reason I have been so quiet. I have also been working on another series of posts. I scoured the marketplace, yard sales and my inventory to find all the goodies in these photos. Today I will be showing you one of the baking areas of the North Pole. I got special permission from the big guy in the red suit. Of course there were some places I wasn't allowed to venture into, for instance his office where he keeps the naughty/nice list. Oh and his and Mrs. Claus' private home, but I understand that, I wouldn't want people traipsing about my home either to show to the world.

       Anyway this baking shop I checked was one of a few, the elves are always clamoring for cookies and cocoa. I don't blame them though, the cocoa I drank while there was the best ever. And the cookies! Oh my word they seemed to cater to everyone's taste.

      While I was there this elf was busy whipping up some icing for some sugar cookies she had just made. If my photos were scented this one would smell of sugar and vanilla and warmth. I am pretty sure I packed on 10 pounds just by looking at all the delicious cookies, not to mention the other sugary treats that they also make there. Tomorrow we will be taking a trip outside to check out the newest reindeer recruits!

Mornings Are Rough

By now you have probably seen a photo somewhere with the hashtag "woke up like this". If I ever tired to do that people would have flashed to Melisandre's true form in Game of Thrones. Oh you haven't seen it? Well spoiler alert, it isn't pretty and neither am I in the morning. Look I even have proof.


See I told you, it is so far removed from even pretty adjacent, but at least my bum looks banging. Trust me when I say I saved you by not getting a close up.

After some fancy brushwork, enough contouring to impress a drag queen, and enough hair product for half a dozen Hollywood starlets I am ready to see the light of day.


Then again by this point the morning is shot. Maybe I should grab a latte, and relax till it's time to venture into the night, where this amount of work won't be seen. Hmmm I may need to rethink when I start my morning routine...

Picnic Time

I thought it was time to drag Bunny out for a picnic. She was a bit on the reluctant side. Okay she was downright cranky about it, but she still agreed. Now normally in my posts I don't mention designers by name, but this time I am. Don't fear it's for a totally good reason. You see the cute pose I have going on here. Well I wouldn't have been able to take the picture if it weren't for Luna, the owner of !bang. You see the vendor spit out the wrong pose when I bought it and as soon as I let her know she sent me the proper pose and made things all better. Little Llama and the Magical Cuteness

There are a few events going on at Little Llama that you and your little ones will want to check out. First up is a Neverland event The theme for this event is Wizard Wayz, anything magical and fantasy like. The event runs from September 26th 2015 to October 19th 2015. Little Llama has the adorable Fluffy Dragons Gacha and the really cool Staff of +2 Awesome that actually changes colors and shoots out magic particles (not seen here)

There is also the Photographers hunt going on and Little Llama has this really cute city backdrop complete with a flying pose (again not seen here, I wanted to show off our Fluffy dragons taking over the city) All items in the Photographers hunt are 5L each, really worth it for the quality of the items you get.

Another event ending on October 6 (so hurry!) is The Challenge. For this event the theme was Scandinavian and Little Llama but together this cute Llama themed set perfect for keeping your favorite plushie away from your baby sister!

Seven Deadly Sisters - Gluttony and Sloth

Gluttony and Sloth are the sisters of the day. They get along much better than Pride and Envy, mostly because Sloth doesn't care what sort of mess Gluttony makes and can't be assed to clean anyway. Gluttony likes to over indulge in all the good, and not so good things.

Gluttony is never seen without some sort of food in her mouth, in this case it is a cake pop. Though to be truthful it's not just food you will find Gluttony with, at times she can be seen with whatever alcohol laden drink she can get her hands on.

It's amazing that I could get Sloth off the couch long enough to stand and get a picture taken. Of course she left her sleep mask on because well taking it off would require effort. Sloth can usually be found lounging about doing as little as possible, which lets be honest would be nice to be able to do some days. Tomorrow we will take a look at Lust and Greed, the symbiotic sisters.

Snowball Fight!!!

We all know how snowball fights start. Someone makes a snowball and the other person says "You wouldn't dare!" and they launch. Well that is what happened here.

once that first snowball is launched it's ever woman for herself. I sadly was unarmed so it was an unfair fight.

There was no way I was coming out of this un-pummeled. I tried to protect myself as much as possible but that girl can throw fast. There was just no way for me to protect myself.

There were so many snowballs flying at me that I lost balance and have the soggy bottom to prove it. It's okay I will go nurse my frozen self with some hot cocoa and plot some sweet revenge.

Vintage Stroll

When I saw these separates at The Dressing Room I just knew I wanted a vintage-y look. It may come from watching way too may period dramas and such while I was recuperating. The hair I already had from Clawtooth was prefect for the look.

A look like this isn't complete without a nice red lip in my ever so humble opinion. A brisk little stroll during a lunch break can do a girl a world of good too.

Pink and Corsetted

Sometimes I like to challenge myself and put together two mesh items that are not sold together. Sometimes it's easy, like with a mesh top and mesh pants. This time it was a mesh dress and mesh corset. The colors in the corset and dress are close enough to one another that sometimes I wasn't sure if it was part of the dress or part of the corset. The corset has a lot of detailing, so while I was out wandering the streets of SL I took pictures.
You can see the zippers, buckles and grommets and such on the corset this time. I shall leave you now, with credits in had to plan your own shopping and street walking (not that kind!!)

Lazy Friday

The Red Pump Project

Holiday Party Time!!! Woohoo

Tis the season for holiday parties and who doesn't want to have a drink or twelve. What one drink for every day of Christmas, it makes sense...really! See there are a few different stages of Phire drinking. Stage one is the flirt stage


Blowing kisses to all the good boys and girls around her and possibly professing her love for some of them. It's a platonic love though, not a lets go jump in the sack love I swear! Next is the "I might as well finish the bottle" stage. This is when it looks like there isn't that much booze left and she could totally finish it with ease.


If Phire makes it to that stage then the final stage is not to far behind. The final stage is not so pretty, it's the "Phire can't stand anymore" stage.


At this point it is best just to feed her some Advil and water and tuck her into bed. Poor dear is now full of holiday spirit.

The busy little Christmas Elf

It is a busy time of year for Santa's elves. I mean with all the toys to make and gifts to wrap and treat to bake, it is a madhouse. Fair Dark Mouse

Now normally I wouldn't put a gift from a fair up front and center on the blog like this, but for this set from Dark Mouse I am making an exception. You see this pearl set reminds me of the set of pearls my mom wore on her wedding day. I remember it being kept in it's jewelry store box up on a shelf in her armoire completely off limits. So this is my little way to get my hands on the pearls. Usually the jewelry Mouse makes reminds me of my grandmother, in a wonderful way, but this time it was different. There is so much to see in Mouse's booth, below is just a sampling.

I think there are enough O's in the title to get my point across. For the longest time my blogging partner(or lazy butt) has been trying to get me into a furry AV. I mean she does have a good track record, she got me to go neko and elf for a while, but I held my ground on the furry. Till now that is, but of course I wanted to be different I had to be cute, but different. With the help of a friend or two I found the cow.

I am probably strange wanting to be a cow and possibly warped because I am dressed in leather. I think it is hilarious to be a cow dressed in leather though so as long as I am amused that is all that matters right? Well my leather pants and halter are both from Sn@tch. I chose the green halter because it pairs so nicely with my necklace.

Technically it is a men's necklace, but since it is mod and I do have a bigger neck now it worked out great. The beads that are green are color change, I think I am technically on the rust setting in that picture, but there is a green without the rust flecks and a brown. Oh and yes I gave myself a rack with a cleavage enhancer, cause well I like having boobies.
