Wardrobe Basics - The Little Black Dress

I saved the quintessential wardrobe basic for last, the little black dress. I tried to make it a little playful instead of dressy.

I could probably lose the cardigan, put up my hair and be ready for a night out with this look. Figures, all dressed up with no where to go.....

Wardrobe Basics - The Pencil Skirt

Okay so it's not exactly a pencil skirt, but it's a pretty one and you could get the same look with a "real" pencil skirt

I am fairly certain that a black skirt, whether it's a pencil one or not, is something almost all of us have. This time I styled it more as a day to night look...maybe. Either way that is today's take on the wardrobe basics.

Wardrobe Basics - The Maxi Skirt

I am back today with another basic wardrobe item, and the one I am wearing just happens to have been released on Friday. That's right it's the maxi skirt. I am not gonna lie, this is one of the favorites I have done for this series. It just feels so relaxed and vacation ready. Wardrobe Basics - Jeans and a Tee

I think the title says it all, jeans and a tee, staples to just about everyone's inventory. I decided that the rest of this week I would style looks using some of the things everyone probably has (girls, sorry guys I will figure something out for you eventually). I just started with a pair of jeans and a white shirt (the top one) and went from there. I won't make it an official challenge or anything, but if anyone wants to style along with me I would love to see your takes on a white tee shirt and jeans!
