In the garden

I have a fascination with hydrangeas. I an not sure if it is their shape, or the fact that your get a bunch of blooms in one bundle. Whatever it is I made sure my house has some in the front. I gathered up these full blooms so that I could dry them. That way even in the dead of winter I have a little reminder of what the summer will bring, aside from heat and sunny days.

I wonder where I will stick these when they are all dried out. Maybe I should pick some more and turn a whole bunch of them a wreath, a ring of pastel glorious-ness.

Vintage Stroll

When I saw these separates at The Dressing Room I just knew I wanted a vintage-y look. It may come from watching way too may period dramas and such while I was recuperating. The hair I already had from Clawtooth was prefect for the look.

A look like this isn't complete without a nice red lip in my ever so humble opinion. A brisk little stroll during a lunch break can do a girl a world of good too.

Visiting the stables

Today you are going to get two posts since I didn't do one yesterday. I have magically managed to get sick for my birthday, go me! In my first post of the day I decided to wander down to the stables to check on the new horse I got for my birthday. Every princess wants a horse for their birthday but usually it's when they are younger and it's a pony. Oh well better late than never.

I did however forget that stables have their own certain scent. It's definitely not a pretty one.

I think I will wait till the stable master has her all saddled before I venture out here again.

Platforms and Piercings

The title of the post says it all huh? The platform sneakers have been my footwear of choice lately. I think it is because of the HUD that makes them so customizable. You see I am wearing the floral shoes, but I used the glitter HUD to make the tongue yellow glitter because well it's me. For that same reason my piercing has stars. It's mod, and I did just that so it's not the way it "should" look. I asked Lola though and she said it looked fine so I went with it. can you tell I am new to this whole thing. One of these days I may catch on, or I may just give up and leave it to the professionals. I am going to just go straight to the credits.

Hazy Sunny Day

I don't know about where you live, but where I am it is down right freezing. In an insane effort to warm myself up I decided to hit the beach in SL.
I tucked a flower behind my ear and donned a little top and comfortable skirt and hit the beach. Sometimes it helps to imagine yourself some place warm. I am thinking today I need to seek out the fires of Hell to warm myself!
This trip to the beach also afforded me the chance to wear one of the belly rings I picked up at Oh My Gacha earlier in the month. What can I say when it's cold I tend to keep my belly covered up.

Snowy

I was trying to go for a snow witch thing, with it be January and cold and snowy/icy lately, but I think I came out looking too cute. Then again only a witch could stand to be out in the cold and snow dressed like this.

Lunch Date

The man is off the rest of the week for Thanksgiving, and because he needs to use up some of his vacation days. That means..lunch date and that is what inspired these pictures.
Here I am heading off to the restaurant to meet him for lunch, not everyone get the day off after all. I do look fabulous, but these shoes are a killer!
Of course he is late. I swear the man can't get anywhere on time. At least it gives me a chance to kick up my heels. It may have been a short walk, but any walk in heels can be a killer. He finally arrived and we had a lovely lunch. You don't want to see pictures of it I promise. I am not the neatest of eaters.
No matter how wonderful lunch is I still need that afternoon pick me up. I nice little vanilla latte is just the thing to keep me going till I park it on the couch when I get home.

What am I going to do?

Halloween have been over for almost two weeks now and I still have pumpkins all around. I am at a loss as to what to do with them. I mean look at this MASSIVE one.
I mean I guess I could carve a door into and and maybe some windows and live in it like Peter's wife.
Maybe I can make something with these little ones. Pumpkin pie maybe, or perhaps pumpkin bread? I shall ponder these options while you read the credits.

Arts and Crafts Time

It's arts and crafts time today. Now I am not a scrapbooker, but you wouldn't know that from looking at this picture. What I really am is and arts and crafts supply hoarder. You never know when you may need some cute tape or cut out shapes or stickers. Stamps and paint can come in handy when you are bored. I did however make two cute collages for this post, on full of pictures of my and my slister Lola and one of me and my Lillie.
I figured since my art supplies and shoes were from The Arcade that I should go all out. So my necklace and hair are also from The Arcade. Lola got the necklace for me because it combines two of my favorite things, frogs and yellow. I am pretty sure I have wore this hair in other posts already, but I love it and this color is my favorite of the moment.

Cinderelly and Gus

Cinderella may have been a busy worker, but then I got to her and she caught my lazies. I mean I can't tell you the last time I was on my hands and knees scrubbing a floor. Then again I don't think I have ever made clothes for mice or went to a ball. Still I don't think I would trade lives with her, besides I already have my prince. Yup I said it and yup I am that cheesey.
I think my Gus is a little cuter than the one Cinderella hung out with. I also don't have to worry about this Gus getting chased by Lucifer (so didn't understand the name of the cat till I was older). I will be playing catch up with the rest of the characters that I haven't gotten too. I would be lying if I didn't say getting back into the back to school groove hasn't thrown me off. Alice in Wonderland

When I saw that Alice was chosen for Disneybound I had to remind myself that it is Disney and not they Alice I have been used to lately. I won't lie for a while I was playing Alice : Madness Returns. It's ummm darker than the Disney version for sure. It's been a long time since I have seen Alice in Wonderland and now I want to see it. My favorite scene is in the very beginning when Alice is laying in the daisies and singing about her "Wonderland".

Tremaine Wicked

You would think that dressing up two ladies would be easy for me, but for some reason I had a hard time with these two. If you didn't know this is Anastasia and Drizella, the wicked step-sisters from Cinderella. Here is a random RL factoid. When we were at Disney World in December we had our picture taken with Cinderella, the prince, Drizella, Anastasia and their mother. Anastasia told my little man that he was a prince because he was being polite. SO maybe they aren't so wicked afterall? Bossy Bird

It's Disney Bounding catch-up time. This time is it Zazu, that bossy bird from the Lion King. I figured it would make sense to be in a library because Zazu was a knowledgeable bird, though I am pretty sure it wasn't book smarts he had.

The Treasure Hunt

It's story times kiddies! It's been a while since I was inspired to do one, but inspiration struck yesterday! I hope you enjoy.

Once day my sweetie told me to meet him at this little cafe. However when I arrived all I was greeted with was a bottle of champagne and a map.

I decided to follow the map to the bridge but I encountered a problem when I got there. How was I going to get to the other side of the island?
I wandered a bit and came across a dock. No one would mind if I borrowed a boat right? I mean I had a treasure map to follow.
When I arrived at the cave I was greeted by my sweetie.
Needless to say I was more than excited about the treasure I found where X marked the spot.
