Serving the Queen

The Queen loves to throw garden parties. She needs to have her tarts of course but she also demands to have red rose cupcakes and heart cakepops. She insisted I set up a separate table with mushroom shaped treats and "drink me" bottles. She figures anyone who eats the non-regal treats are traitors and she will shout for the removal of their heads. I loathe her garden parties. Hopefully word of mouth has spread about the mushrooms and bottles because I am not sure how many more "off with their heads" the kingdom can take!

Hopefully the time is near for the Alice girl to return and save us from this mad queen. Maybe she could so something other than growing large an disappearing on us this time!

Sunflower Sweetie

Sunflowers are in my opinion happy flowers. I mean they just make a person smile to see them. At least they do that to me. Girl with the Red Rose

I thought I would title it like a classic painting, or a popular novel depending on how you read it. I admit I am desperate for some warm sunny weather and have been trying to get all the virtual sunshine I can. I hit up some gardens last week and may have made off with a rose...shh don't tell anyone. I bought this cute dress at The Chapter Four and it has that perfect spring feel to it, short enough to feel the warm air on your legs, but with long sleeves to keep a bit of the chill out. Though really if you tossed on some leggings you would be set for the winter too. I am babbling so I will leave you with the credits.

Quiet Respite

Sometimes a girl needs some peace and quiet in this crazy world. I like finding those places outside, though in the winter it's a little harder to do and much colder.

This cute little number is from the new Creators Collection Box event, which is full of cute goodies. This outfit comes with a HUD that allows you to change the leggings, skirt and ankle fur or make it not there at all. I didn't play around with it too much because I adored the way it looked with the leggings and fur. Okay I was also being a bit on the lazy side. With that I am off to be lazier, or more productive, it all depends on my mood.

A quiet night in

Last nigh?t I had a nice quiet night curled up staying warm. It started in the kitchen where I brewed up something nice and warm to drink, a must on a cold snowy night.

I chose my glasses mug because it went well with my chosen activity of the night. I moved across my apartment to the bed where I had the rest of my supplies stacked up.

I didn't intend to read through all those books in one night, but I wanted to have options available to myself. I have a hard time picking a book to read. I am however trying to work my way through the top 25 classics at least according to one site I found. So far I have finished Wuthering Heights. I chose one from the stack and got down to reading.

A Town of Mr. Butlers

A friend suggested I hop on this green train for an adventure. I really should do some research before taking advice. I didn't know it was going to be cold and snowing so I wasn't exactly dressed for the weather.

When I got off the train I was greeted by what I thought were twins, and they were offering up some champagne so I grabbed a glass and headed inside. I needed to get warm.

When I got inside there was another one and he was serving up champagne too. He had a little more flair going on than what I assume were his brothers. Maybe they are triplets I thought.

I walked deeper into the building in search of a bathroom. I did drink all that champagne and well nature was calling. I stumbled across another man, he must have been the black sheep of the butler family because he was serving up wine instead. By this time I had counted four identical Mr. Butlers and I was started to get a little worried. I snuck out of the bathroom window to find an escape from Crazytown. To be honest I was starting to think they were robots or maybe even clones and I did not want to stick around.

I found a row boat and was about to make my escape when my foot hit the water. Man it was freezing! But I soldiered on and rowed my little heart out and made it home with no troubles.

Twas the night

Before Christmas when all through the house the furry little creatures were messing about. A little girl lay all snug in her sack while waiting for Santa to come back. She tired her hardest to stay awake, but the warmth of the fire cause her to drift off to dreamland. She had dreams of cookies and cake all of which her mother did bake. On Christmas morning oh the joy as she unwrapped each and every toy. And now my post has come to an end and with it I say Happy Christmas to all and to all a good Thursday!

Little Red Robyn Hood

By now everyone knows the story of little red riding hood and that of Robin Hood, but did you know they both dwelled in the same forest? That's right Sherwood forest and the forest that red riding hood traveled in are the same. It's no wonder then that to two met. We all know that Robin Hood ended up going off and marrying Maid Marion, but did you know that before all that happened he had an affair with a grown Red Riding Hood? It's true and from this affair came a child that Robin Hood never knew.

Her name was Little Red Robyn Hood. Her mother named her Robyn after her father, but kept that little detail to herself. Robyn was as skilled with a bow and arrow as her well known father. She also donned her mother's infamous red hood.

In a way Robyn was like her father. She used her skills with a bow and arrow protect those who could not pretect themselves. She would never steal, not even from the rich. She was always keeping an eye out in the forest for trouble.

Maybe one day her mother will reveal the truth,or maybe someone will wise up and see the similarity between Robin and Robyn?

Bookish Princess

Not all princesses are the ball going, gown wearing type. There are those princesses that prefer the company of books to that of a handsome prince. Of course I wouldn't turn away my own handsome prince, but that isn't the point here, then again I don't think I ever really have a point.

Lilac Tea

Returning to the sea

The young man noticed the sadness in the mermaid and though he wanted to keep her with him he knew she belonged in the sea. He spoke tender words to her letting her know that he loved her so much he couldn't stand to see her miserable.
They walked along the beach and as the waves crashed over her feet her tail began to return. She had a hard time letting him go, but she knew she didn't have a choice.

She dove into the water and swam away as fast as her fins could take her. Only once did she look back at him as her tears became one with the salty waters of the ocean.

Stretching Her Legs

...continued from yesterday.
After the mermaid awoke the man found an old pair of his pajama bottoms and tank top for her to wear. He set her up in his spare room with all the things one would normally have to get better. Of course the poor dear was not at all used to sleeping in a human bed. She found herself tossing and turning trying to find the right position.

Once the mermaid was feeling up to it, and the young man had time to go out and get some proper clothes for her, he took her out to explore his village. The first stop was to get her hair trimmed as she had trouble seeing through her long hair. He allowed her to wander around on her own, though he always kept her in eyesight, just in case. She was almost instantly drawn to the fountain in the the center of the town.

The spray of the water reminded her of her own home under the sea. The water had no effect on her fins however because it was fresh water and not the salt water like home. It made her long for her own home, but she also wanted to stay with the young man who had been so kind and loving to her. Her heart was being pulled in two different directions.

Blood Lace

It's been a few days since I got off my arse and blogged. I swear it's not because I am a slacker. It's just that I have been taking a bunch of pictures and trying to mentally write the post to go with them. It's one of my stories so you know it's going to have multiple parts. However I should be focusing on the picture above huh? The dress is a cute one from DeeTalez with optional arm warmers. Since I have been freezing the last couple of days I went with arm warmers. The lace detailing made making my shoes easy, I went with the lace booties from lassitude & ennui. I admit I am a Slink compatible shoe junkie now. To cap off the look I am wearing the latest necklace from my Lolapop!, it's a gacha that is in her store now, so you make need a couple of goes at it to get this color, but there are other colors. Hazy Sunny Day

I don't know about where you live, but where I am it is down right freezing. In an insane effort to warm myself up I decided to hit the beach in SL.
I tucked a flower behind my ear and donned a little top and comfortable skirt and hit the beach. Sometimes it helps to imagine yourself some place warm. I am thinking today I need to seek out the fires of Hell to warm myself!
This trip to the beach also afforded me the chance to wear one of the belly rings I picked up at Oh My Gacha earlier in the month. What can I say when it's cold I tend to keep my belly covered up.

An Afternoon Treat

Some days you just need to take the time to treat yourself. There is a bakery near me that I go to to treat myself. They make the most incredible truffles.
My favorite truffle will always be the "Peter Rabbit" one which is a carrot cake truffle, so yummy! Of course some days I also need a caffeine boost in the afternoon.

Sailor Girls

I have been taking pictures with Lola a lot lately. It may be because we are shopping together more than usual because of holiday breaks. Over the weekend we went to OMG (Oh My Gacha) because Lola is a gacha junkie, well more of one than I am at least.
One of the ones we hit was The Sugar Garden machine with the Sailor Moon inspired goodies. So of course we had to play dress up.
Though it could have been one of Lola's ploys to get me in my underwear. I did learn one thing while taking pictures with Lola. I need to organize my poses so I can find my friends ones much easier. Or maybe I should say forget it and go out and buy new ones?
Either way we look pretty good to me. Sorry for the boring pictures, well the fact that I only used one pose. Oh and if you didn't notice, that is a yellow bow there because Lola knows how much a love the color so she took care of me.

I don't know about you, but I am beat from this weekend! So many sales and events all seemed to start at once. My girl Lola took me to Kustom9 and I will be honest I had never been. Hey it's hard to keep all these events straight.
I am a sucker for big cozy sweaters in RL and in SL so of course I had to play the gacha machine at Kustom9 and one of the colors I got was this lovely minty color. I think mint is my favorite color, behind yellow of course. I also picked up the pants you see me wearing. One can never have too many pairs of pants in my opinion.
While there I also played the gacha to get these birds that are made from keyboard keys. They are odd and quirky and seemed just like the thing to have in my bedroom. Now I must go sort through all the other goodies I got so I can get around to blogging them too.

Gathering in the moonlight

There is just something magical about gathering herbs and flowers by the moonlight. They seem more powerful.
The fact that these are gathered in the shadow of some ancient ruins just adds to the mystique if you ask me, even if you don't ask.
With it being night and all the she needs to wear her hood to keep warm. This also helps her shield her identity from prying eyes. Theorecticaly anyone out at this hour can't be up to anything good, even though she is. That does make me wonder what exactly she may be cooking up with all that she gathers.

One with nature

There are a couple of events that I am hitting upon in this post, The Fantasy Gacha Carnival and We ♥ Roleplay. I went to the first of those two events with my partner in crime Lola. In fact for the most part Lola dressed me for this post. I swear every time I went AFK to work on dinner she was adding stuff to my inventory. She even picked the place for me to take pictures!
The skin I am wearing is from We ♥ Roleplay and the colors are so pretty. It reminds me of an opal.
