Practice

A lady needs to know how to defend herself and sometimes a sharp pointed weapon comes in handy. I know I am more than a bit clumsy so practicing is a good way to prevent myself from hurting me and not the person I am trying to defend myself against.

Mean Auntie Phire

It's that time of year again when my little niece Livy comes to visit me while her parents take off on a vacation. After last when I nearly fell down the stairs tripping on her toys I was a little more strict with clean up time. I know it's mean, but I value my limbs and their state of unbroken-ness.

I am not a slave driver I promise. I may have made sure she got every spot on t he rug, but she did get a treat afterwards.

See I am not a taskmaster. I rewarded her hard work with a big ol' ice cream cone. She wasn't exactly in the sharing mood, not that I can really blame her.

Beachy Bums

It's beach day! I wrangled a friend into heading to the beach with me. We met up and did what girls do when they get together. We took a selfie. We thought it would be fun to go for matching outfits, we happen to be cheesy like that.

Music Man

I have a confession to make. I am a sucker for a man that can play an instrument. I especially go weak in the knees for those that can play the guitar or piano. Maybe it comes from having zero musical talent myself, who knows. I would be lying if I said that I haven't begged a few people to play for me in the past. It just makes me giddy when they agree. Maybe one day I will learn how to play something myself, but for now I am more than happy to enjoy the talents of others. If the way to a mans heart is through his stomach then the way to my heart is through music.

Sweet Outdoors

Blue skies and light breezes and the warmth of the sun, could there be anything better? Spring has finally arrived here where I live in with it has come the sun and nice warm days. It's enough to make anyone want to run barefoot through a field. Unfortunately the grass hasn't quite gotten to the lovely shade of green that it gets in the summer time.

Soon enough it will be bathing suit and backyard barbecue time!

Miss Bee

My name is Bee, Miss Bumble Bee. I don't have a license to kill like James Bond, but I do like the occasional martini. It does happen to be too early for a martini so I guess I will go with a cup of tea.

Little Blue Love Bug

With the little blue love bug ready to roll I am sneaking off for an adventure. I think maybe I will drive along the coast and maybe find some inspiration. Maybe I will be inspired to write, or draw or some other sort of artistic expression. Though maybe not painting, I don't think my skin could take another scrubbing like that!
