Calming Waters

Some days I can get a little overwhelmed or stressed, on those days I seek out water. There is just something to soothing about the sound of waves crashing on the shore. I will admit to also having a fondness for waterfalls. Luckily the sounds of the water did the trick and my jangled nerves were soothed, for a time at least.

Lost to the sea

I have lost my heart to the sea. He set sail to make is fortune. For you see he thought that to have my love he needed to be able to buy me all the glorious things he felt a suitor should.

If only he knew that the only thing I ever wanted from him was his never ending love. Now my love is lost to the sea and I fear I will never be whole again. I shall spend the rest of my days looking over the sea wishing you would return to me.

Dreaming of You

I think at this point in the winter the You I am dreaming of is spring, or it could be a person, that is my secret. To be honest I don't hate winter nor do I hate the snow or cold. What I do hate is storm on top of storm with no chance to melt any of the last snowfall. So here I am dressed in something warm weather ready dreaming of the days when I can feel the sun kissing my skin instead of Jack Frost nipping at my nose. Hopefully those days will be here soon and I can spend them in the sun.

I find myself giggling at the name of this new skin from Miasnow when I am wearing it. Think about it for a second and you will get it.
