Beach Beauties

Please don't get sick and tired of me on the beach. I promise as soon as summer has ended in my part of the world you will see me surrounded by trees and covered up head to toe. For now I am dragging my photo buddy to the beach. Only in the the pixels will I lay out in the sun like this. It's because I never need to worry about getting a sunburn. Sunburns hurt like a monkey trucker. There have been so many things that have opened in the last week or so that I am having trouble keeping track. Today however I know that the swimwear comes from The Chapter Four. I couldn't pass up a little yellow bikini. I think I get a new one every summer.

After slow roasting in the sun it was time to drag Bunny to the water. I think she may be part wicked witch and afraid she will melt if she comes into contact with water. She was clinging to me like a baby monkey! You can't see you legs wrapped around me. I think one day I am going to have to have a pool party and "accidentally" trip into and send her into the water. I'm not evil I swear.

Ice Cream Time!

There is nothing better on a hot summer day at the beach than ice cream. I love the beach, even if I do burn like it's my job. In fact I do love the outdoors in general, it's just the sun doesn't love me back. I mean here I am looking like a sunset with a sunny necklace and still no love from the sun!

Oh well even if the sun isn't showing me love I will still love it. My ice cream is really delicious, would you like a lick?

Firestarter

While looking through some of the old books in the attic of her grandmother's house a young lady came across a book with some weird writing in it. Being the curious sort she started looking through it.

She started reading further and realized it was a book of spells. Now she didn't think her grandmother was a witch. I mean witches don't bake delicious cookies and cakes do they? As she read one spell she started to feel a tingle in her hand. The next thing she knew there was a ball of flames in the palm of her hand!

The young girl was startled at first, but then realized the potential this ability had, never would she be cold or in the dark, so she practiced. After a few hours not only did she no longer need the book, but she was able to produce flames in both hands!

She wondered what other spells were in the book, but decided that mastering conjuring of flames was enough for one day.

I made breakfast

It's not often that I am the first one awake or that I bake something for breakfast. I usually save all my baking for afternoons or evenings. Today I thought I would be nice and make some croissants and coffee, we can pretend we are back at that little Parisian cafe. Who can't use a reminder of such a wonderful trip on on Monday morning? I could go on all morning about that trip, but I won't. How about a look at my outfit before you head out the door?

In my own world

I have a habit of wearing my headphones all around so that I have music playing almost always. Everything just seems to get done faster when there is music playing. It's possible that I may sing along and dance while doing the dishes or laundry. I decided that since I do such in my non digital life that I would mirror it sort of in my digital one. I could see myself bopping along down the street with headphones on going...somewhere.

At least here on the barren digital streets I won't get weird looks when I sing along...or a cat trying to knock my headphones off to make me stop singing.

Awaiting the Prince

He said to meet him at the fountain, and so here I am waiting his arrival. Maybe he is having trouble getting away. I know I am not exactly the "typical" type he goes for, but there is just something about they way we are when we are together.

Sure I may be not have a title or wealth, but what we share is something deeper that no amount of money can buy. When we are together we are our true selves, no need to be proper for him and well I can be my sarcastic self without glares from others.

Hopefully he shows up soon because I would hate to have to storm the castle to find him!
