Sun Shining

      On of the best things about living in the south for me is the sunshine, even if we do have a love hate relationship. I love the sun, however my skin and the sun don't get along. I am either super pale, or red as Rudolph's nose. Luckily in my digital life that is not an issue.

      As you can see here I have combined my two favorite things, the sun and yellow. is it really any wonder that yellow is my favorite color? I mean who didn't use yellow at least once in their lives to color the sun? I was going to be a little wordier, but I have a ride to catch for some fun in the not sun ;)

Perfectly Pink

      You are about to witness something as rare, well I am not sure, but something fairly rare. You see today I am wearing, wait for it.....Pink!*cue the gasps and fainting ladies* Now I know there are ladies out there that absolutely adore pink, but I am not one of them. Red hair and pale skin do not make for a lover of pinks. Enough of my words, here is a picture.

Toys for each girl and boy

      While I was at the North Pole I learned something. Now I wasn't given specifics, but it appears that Santa is the biggest importer in the world. He told me he had several companies throughout the world to get the goods he needs for making every Christmas gift. It seems these businesses are "run" by elves, but they look human as to not arouse suspicion. I asked how this was possible and was again given the "Christmas Magic" excuse. It seems that they even import all natural fabrics and dyes for some of the stuffed animals. I was allowed into the toymaking training workshop. You see before the elves are allowed to move on to more complicated toys they need to master the basics, stuffed animals and wooden toys.

      As you can see the wooden toys come in a variety of ways, though it looks like someone snuck in a non-wooden toy into the workshop. Every toys gets played with for a little bit just to make sure they will hold up. The stuffed animals seem to get extra snuggles from this elf. The elves in the toy workshops all end up with tons of boxes laying around because after the toys are tested they are sent to the gift wrapping workshop before making their way into Santa's magic bag. We will see that workshop tomorrow!

Plans change

      Living in the south I am now used to being flexible with my plans. Between the random rain storms, hurricanes and goodness knows what else it pays to be flexible. For instance moving your picnic to the living room when it is pouring out. Or when the power is out, or a fun combination of the two. Then again this isn't really just a southern thing. When I liked up north we lost power on occasion, and sometimes during the winter. Luckily we had an old fashioned wood stove that would heat up a room like nobodies business. I bought the picnic set used here for my birthday in August, finally took pictures in September and am now finally posting it. Life has a way of dictating when things get posted, but that is the way it is. Now I will present you with the credits while I go make myself a non-picnic lunch.

Goddess or Madonna Costume Reject

      Have you ever been sorting your inventory and then just started playing with the clothes that you have, or recently gained? That is how this post came about. While I had time I hit up some of the events that are and were going on. I am a pose junkie so of course I hit the Pose Fair. I am also have a mild obsession with gachas, so it hit up Lootbox too.



      As I slowly started adding pieces I thought I looked Goddess-like, and a little under-dressed, even if everything is all covered up. So I went to visit some friends to get their opinion. As I was standing there I realized I had a sort of Madonna vibe going on. Not the virgin one, the like a virgin one.


      When I visited friends I did have bright red lips, so it was a little more startling than the tamer color they are in the final pictures. The robe as you can see is sheer so I went with a thong underneath because, well I can be a little on the modest side. You know says the lady whose boobs are only covered by silver shields. Well you can't win them all can ya?

Seven Deadly Sisters - Gluttony and Sloth

Gluttony and Sloth are the sisters of the day. They get along much better than Pride and Envy, mostly because Sloth doesn't care what sort of mess Gluttony makes and can't be assed to clean anyway. Gluttony likes to over indulge in all the good, and not so good things.

Gluttony is never seen without some sort of food in her mouth, in this case it is a cake pop. Though to be truthful it's not just food you will find Gluttony with, at times she can be seen with whatever alcohol laden drink she can get her hands on.

It's amazing that I could get Sloth off the couch long enough to stand and get a picture taken. Of course she left her sleep mask on because well taking it off would require effort. Sloth can usually be found lounging about doing as little as possible, which lets be honest would be nice to be able to do some days. Tomorrow we will take a look at Lust and Greed, the symbiotic sisters.

Tea Time

It's tea time! I have a confession to make. I collect teacups in SL. I know it seems a bit strange, but I do. I have a soft spot for teacups. So it's not surprising that when The Arcade rolls around and there are teacups to be had I seek them out.

There are times where I attempt to get all the pieces of a tea set.

I am also a sucker for tulips. Combine some tulips with a cute bunny and I am all over that cuteness!
And what is a tea party with out dressing up all prettily? I think I shall call these two Cinnamon and Sugar based on what we are wearing. Cinnamon obviously being the one in red, because it more cinnamony than that minty one.

Siblings

There are the kinds of siblings that you are born with and then there are the ones you choose. The ones you choose are sometimes the ones that know you better than the other. When I saw this pose I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it. You see in my head the caption for this photo has always been "Siblings have your back". Sure it's super punny, but you should come to expect that from me now. I am lucky enough to call these two family now you know since I married one of them. Pallets Are Cool

As I was wandering the other day I came upon a pile of pallets and since pallets are so cool and hip I stood on them for pictures. It's just the way my brain works it seems. I also tried to pull all the colors from the sweater into the rest of the look right down to the smaller details, like the necklace.
Even my glasses were keeping with the color scheme, though tortoise shell and leopard print aren't exactly the same thing huh? Oh well it's the thought that counts. Now onto the credits!

Paperdolls - Day Two

Today is day two of my paperdoll doppelganger series. This one shows my obvious love of stars. It was hard not to let my favorite creep in when I was doing these dolls originally.
I came pretty darn close with the shirts and skirt today. And yes I went old school prim with that skirt. Hey I work with what I can find.
