Music Mondays - Shut Up And Dance

      Another more modern song, which my darling child refers to as a "song from her childhood", meanwhile she is only 14. For me this is just a fun song, and I can be bossy too like the "girl" in the song.

      I have been known to dance around while doing mundane things like cleaning the kitchen, or folding laundry. There is just something about dancing that makes me smile. I will dance even though I have two left feet and no actual rhythm. There is nothing wrong with doing something that makes you happy everyday... I mean as long at it is legal and stuff!

Music Mondays - Walk Me Home

      This Monday I have a little P!nk for you. I picked the song because it has one of my favorite lines "I can't be alone with all that's on my mind", because lately that is how I have felt. Being in a bit of a bad place health wise can do that to you. However I am not here to talk about that. As with most of the posts I have done thus far I took some inspiration from the video. What can I say I am a sucker for a red dress.

      It's fun to see what I have that can work for a photo, and what I may need to shop for. I use almost any excuse to shop. Since there really wasn't a man in the video I went rogue here and tried to figure out what I gentleman would be wearing. I think he looks pretty spiffy. I am going to stop there for today. Next week will be a surprise since it is Halloween Week and I want something fitting.

Plans change

      Living in the south I am now used to being flexible with my plans. Between the random rain storms, hurricanes and goodness knows what else it pays to be flexible. For instance moving your picnic to the living room when it is pouring out. Or when the power is out, or a fun combination of the two. Then again this isn't really just a southern thing. When I liked up north we lost power on occasion, and sometimes during the winter. Luckily we had an old fashioned wood stove that would heat up a room like nobodies business. I bought the picnic set used here for my birthday in August, finally took pictures in September and am now finally posting it. Life has a way of dictating when things get posted, but that is the way it is. Now I will present you with the credits while I go make myself a non-picnic lunch.

      And there is my attempt at some poetry. Honestly though, don't ever whisper something in my ear, or blow on it for that matter. Sure some ladies may find it sexy, but it squidges me out. Everyone has something that gives them the squidges. You know that thing that makes you scrunch up your nose and shiver with disgust. yeah the squidges. I am going off on a tangent here, I am sorry. Too Early

      I am not a morning person, even when woken with a delivery of coffee to my face. I am cranky and irritable and will attempt to throw things if you ask me something before coffee has passed my lips. Also there is that whole morning breath thing, I wouldn't want to kiss me with stank breath what makes you think I want to kiss you? So when someone attempts to get all snuggly and cuddly I am not really down for that.



      I know that makes me sound like a terrible person and you may pity those who live with me, and I wouldn't blame you too much. I do on occasion wake up on the right side of the bed and those are the days where everyone is happy.I won't explain how me waking up on the right side of the bed makes others happy, you have imaginations, use them! Wind in my hair

      A couple of weeks ago I asked a friend for a word and I would try to take a picture with said word in mind. He chose the word "windy". I knew there was a bunch few dresses and hairs that make it look like the wind is blowing you stuff all about, but that seemed too obvious. I wanted something a little more subtle and a bit more fun too. I was bopping around pose shops as I am want to do looking for a pose for something else when inspiration hit! A swing! When you are swinging on a swing it creates a wind blowing through your hair effect.



      As you can see there is just a hint of wind blowing through my hair. Mt challenger has not seen these picture yet so hopefully they will be acceptable, if not I will be back with more windy pictures. Oh he did tell me no farts allowed you know breaking wind and all. I have one more picture for you just because I had a lot of fun with this swing prop.

Beware the girl in the club

      At least once in you digital life you should hit a club or cafe in SL. I ma not saying you have to be all social or anything. You can dance in a corner all by yourself and be quiet as a mouse. A fun thing to do while dancing is profile peeping, you can learn all sorts of things about a person that way. You do have to beware of some girls, they may be super eager to bring you back to her place. Heck you maybe anxious to get back to hers too.



      However you must remember that old saying of buyer beware. While she may look all sweet and cute, she may have a terrifying secret. Maybe she lives with her parents. Possibly it's her roommate that may be the scary factor. Maybe he home is decorated with sad clowns, I know that would be a nightmare situation for me!


      It could just be possible that you will never even make it back to her place. It may not be what is in you pants that she is after. Maybe she wants something more...like your soul!
