      I am going to make this weeks post short and sweet. Today's post is brought to you by No Doubt, the soundtrack of my early dating years.

      I just loved the texture effect the window had on the photo. Oh if you haven't figured it out, the song inspiration for this week was Don't Speak by No Doubt. It had just the right amount of angst for a naive girl first venturing out into the dating world.

      That's right I have been away for a bit and here I am coming in hot. What can I say it looks like Dark Phire is in charge today. o would you like to play a game? Head I win, tails you lose...your head. Now now no need to be shy, I will even let you pick the coin.

Earth Boys Are Easy

      The  Vintage Fair may be over, but that won't stop me from busting out some vintage styles I procured from the fair. You know of that moment when you start styling something and all the sudden an idea forms in your head, well that is what happened here. I remember the title of the movie from 1988, Earth Girls Are Easy and decided to play around that. So with a space cat dress, and cat eyes I decided Earth Boys Are Easy too. I am not being sexist, just silly.



      As you can see this sweet looking gal has a tongue not of this world. What she intends to do with it, well I will leave that to your own imagination! I assure you that is not just any tongue, from afar it looks like she may just be related to Gene Simmons, alas for our poor lad this is not the case.


     That tongue there has some menacing looking suckers on there like an octopus. I really hope there aren't seven more hiding somewhere on her being...

The Birds Tell All

The little birdies carry all sorts of knowledge on their wings. The good, the bad and the ugly truth about happenings in other parts of the land. Listen I am trying to be mysterious here because I don't want to ruin the ending of Game of Thrones for those who haven't watched. The Final Winter events comes to it's end this weekend so if you haven't been and you are a fan of Game of Thrones or just roleplay in general you should go, go now! Don't even read the rest of this post...wait no scratch that, finish this then go.

I was attempting using some tools in SL with my photos this time. I think I need more practice, but that is not the point. The point is there are beautiful and unique things to be had at The Final Winter. I however am not one of the things available, but I do look good in the items.

That Couple

     Here in the States it was Memorial Day weekend this past weekend. You know the day we honor those who, have made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom, by having parades and cook outs. It inspired me to do a little photo shoot. There is at least one couple in every neighborhood who are so into themselves as a couple that they wear matching outfits and basically ignore anyone else around them. They are usually a younger couple, but the age can range. Here is an example of such a couple.

      As you can see by the way they stare at one another they are soooo in love. They are even ignoring their own child who is sucking on a lemon and near meltdown mode. I myself have never been one of those couple, unless maybe a couples costume at Halloween counts? 

      At least they are a cute couple if I do say so myself. It doesn't hurt that the matchingness was yellow my favorite color. Onto the credits which are stupid long today.

Party Girls!

I am not a nightclub kind of girl, I am more of a local bar kinda gal. That being said I have agreed to go to clubs with friends in the past, when I was younger of course. The only kinda club you would see me hitting now would be the sandwich kind. I will hit up a "club" in my digital life, but that is mostly to listen to music and pretend I am social. Why am I admitting all this? Well it's because of today's post.

As you can plainly see you are partying it up with laser lights! Woohoo! Or maybe we are just using a background and are actually at my house. You will never know...until you read the credits. We do look pretty cute if I do say so myself, and I do.

We just need some drinks in out hands to make the look complete. At least I want a drink, maybe a nice refreshing gin and tonic.

Modern Witch

      There are quite a few shows that I could have used to inspire my modern witch, but since I am a fan of American Horror Story I went with the witches of the Coven and the current season for inspiration. Almost all the ladies have a standard "uniform" of a full black outfit. This was easy to achieve since I am not lacking in a black wardrobe.


      No witch worth her power would leave the house without her cell phone and a latte. Maybe that is just a me thing, since I can never leave the house without some caffeine and my phone.


      I think one of the things these Coven witches try to avoid in direct sunlight, at least that is what the hats and parasols seem to say to me. I don't blame them, if these witches are anything like me they burn in the sun. Hmmm, maybe I am a witch, it sure beats what my kids call me " The Irish Vampire".

A boho Phire

      Every once in a while some part of me decides to take over my style for a day or so. I wish I knew what triggered these little whims, but it also explains why I have no discernible style most of the time. This day my inner boho came out to play.



      I will call this the "I can't today" pose, which is how I am feeling today. In my defense it is National Lazy Day so really the fact that I am even blogging today should be applauded. I am awash in flame in this picture because everyone knows it gets cold in the desert at night and you need a fire to keep warm, and this Phire is being warmed by that one.


      Here we see a Phire being mesmerized by the flames. This is actually pretty accurate, I do get lost in the flames of a bonfire. I have always felt a strange pull towards fire and flames, but not in the I am going to be an arsonist kind of way. I am going to flee before I end up freaking people out with my fire love.

Beware the girl in the club

      At least once in you digital life you should hit a club or cafe in SL. I ma not saying you have to be all social or anything. You can dance in a corner all by yourself and be quiet as a mouse. A fun thing to do while dancing is profile peeping, you can learn all sorts of things about a person that way. You do have to beware of some girls, they may be super eager to bring you back to her place. Heck you maybe anxious to get back to hers too.



      However you must remember that old saying of buyer beware. While she may look all sweet and cute, she may have a terrifying secret. Maybe she lives with her parents. Possibly it's her roommate that may be the scary factor. Maybe he home is decorated with sad clowns, I know that would be a nightmare situation for me!


      It could just be possible that you will never even make it back to her place. It may not be what is in you pants that she is after. Maybe she wants something more...like your soul!

A special pet

We have all heard that after a while an pet parent and they non-human child will start to look alike. Well a certain someone has a pet of mythical proportions and let me tell you she and Nyssa are looking more and more alike each day.



Luckily she doesn't have talons or wings like Nyssa, but that just may be coming sooner rather than later. Just look at the way she has tattooed her face. She is one devoted pet parent!


At least with a pet phoenix she never really has to worry about it dying. I am fairly certain that beautiful creature will outlive us both.

In da club

             A few days after giving the flower merchant my number he called. As my luck would have it he called me right when I was waiting for the bathroom. The girls and I were out at a club and I was the first to break the seal. If you are unfamiliar with the phrase I will spare you the explanation, no one needs the imagery in their minds. So we chatted for a bit when things got shocking!


             He had seemed so umm, vanilla, when I met him at the market. Little did I know that the man had a playful dirty side. I wasn't going to ditch the girls at the club because that isn't how I roll. So we made plans to meet in the park and go for coffee the next day. I am a coffee fiend so it was my idea for the coffee. Here is hoping it goes well.

Falling for You

I'm falling for you all over again. It's a good thing I am because you keep me grounded instead of floating off into the air. I will give up my wings for you and find a new heaven with you.


I have no idea what just cam over me. Am I a romantic at heart? Nah I just get ideas in my head and see if I can execute them well enough to make me happy. And I am happy because I know a secret about this post, but I am not gonna tell! It won't be a secret if I did, Duh! Want to Play a Game?

You don't know me and that is probably a good thing. You see I am a bounty hunter, and not the kind that works for the human courts. I am a soul bounty hunter. What's that you may be asking. Well here is the deal, whenever someone says "I would sell my soul for whatever nonsense they are desiring", one of the many damned lawyers pops up here and strikes a deal. You may think that we wait till that person eats it to collect their souls, but we can be an impatient lot downstairs. So when it the time comes to pony up and you try to sneak away they call me. I got out and I get the job done. You know when you meet someone and think they have "soulless eyes", yeah that is our handy work. Anyway I try to find the fun in the job, so sometimes I offer a game. If they can beat me in a game of poker they get to keep their souls. SPOILER ALERT! They never win.



Take this moron for instance. He agreed to play poker...with a demon. Did he honestly think he had a chance to win? I sometimes literally have an ace up my sleeve. I am a freaking bounty hunting demon, of course I don't play fair! Here is a helpful hint, don't offer you soul up for material things like this dude, no car is worth you soul. Oh and another one, if you are willing to sell it for something selfless, that isn't out bag and we kick it upstairs, your welcome. Now don't make me come after you!

The finale

While Eddie stood there freezing his marbles off a figure appeared all clothed in black. Eddie couldn't get a glimpse of her face as it was hidden from sight. This spirit took Eddie buy the collar and started him on his journey of discovery. If you hadn't guessed by now, she was about to show him is future.


Their first stop was to a party full of women. You would think this was Eddie's dream of a future but you would be mistaken. The women of this party were drinking, dancing and being full of cheer. Slowly it dawned on Eddie that all these women were his former conquests all gathered together. He asked the spirit why they were all gathered together and dancing merrily. Before he received an answer the party had faded away and they were standing in a graveyard.


The spirit spoke not a word but just pointed. Eddie followed to where she pointed and to his horror he saw his own headstone and freshly dug grave.

Eddie put two and two together and realized all those women were celebrating his death! Eddie fell to the specters feet and swore he would change his womanizing ways and be a better man.
When Eddie awoke the next morning he kept true to his word and started treating women vastly better. They were no longer object for his own amusement. Now the only heart to get broken is Eddie's, but maybe some day he will find his true love.

Part the Second

Later that evening as Eddie was asleep a glowing pale figure appeared in his room. She stood over his bed an watched him sleep until her mere presence awoke the slumbering Eddie.


Instead of fear or worry he greeted his nocturnal visitor with a " Damn! Who are you babe?", for even in the middle of the night he was checking ladies out. The vision in white replied "I am here to show you your past, so take hold of my hand and our journey shall begin.

She took him back to see his very first love, the typical pigtailed little girl from kindergarten. They travel through his middle school crushes and girlfriends. There adventure ever took them to his freshman year of college where he meet the one girl who broke his heart. After this last visit they returned to Eddie's palatial apartment and the specter faded into the night without another word. Eddie convinced himself it was nothing but a dream and promptly fell back asleep.

Mr Grant and I headed out for a day of sunshine. Mr. Grant it my dog, you see he is named after one of my favorite old actors, Cary Grant. There was just something about him in his films, but that is neither here nor there. Since my non digital life has been holding me hostage I have been hitting up events right before they close.
