Plans change

      Living in the south I am now used to being flexible with my plans. Between the random rain storms, hurricanes and goodness knows what else it pays to be flexible. For instance moving your picnic to the living room when it is pouring out. Or when the power is out, or a fun combination of the two. Then again this isn't really just a southern thing. When I liked up north we lost power on occasion, and sometimes during the winter. Luckily we had an old fashioned wood stove that would heat up a room like nobodies business. I bought the picnic set used here for my birthday in August, finally took pictures in September and am now finally posting it. Life has a way of dictating when things get posted, but that is the way it is. Now I will present you with the credits while I go make myself a non-picnic lunch.

Seeing Double, sorta

      So today I am going to be showing my age. Of course you can see friend and I "twinning", but that isn't the thought that popped into my head. You see when I look at this I am reminded of the old commercials for Doublemint gum. into my head of course popped "Double your pleasure, double your fun.", which not that I think about it sounds really dirty! I of course didn't want to be identical twins, mostly because that would have been a pain. So we went with more similar looks instead. I mean could you imagine a world with two of me? It would be terrifying to say the least.



      As you can see there is a lot that is very much the same going on, but enough difference to keep us our own person.  Maybe we are more of a twinning thing then Doublemint twins, but well...I got nothing.

Beachy Dreams

      I swear I am not always napping in my pictures lately. I may look asleep, but actually I am deep in thought. I am probably thinking that it is going to start storming any minute now. That is the reality of where I live. Summer means afternoon thunderstorms on a daily basis. Sure there are days that are all day sun, but those are few and far between right now. At least it's always sunny in my digital life if I want it to be. Wedding Season

      May and June are always chock full of celebration's that it can get exhausting. Not only do you have graduations, but there are weddings around every corner. Sometime you are a guest and other times you are in the bridal party. That means photos, and lots of them. You do your duty for as long as you possibly can, but then you just need to let loose. Maybe while you picture partner is looking pretty for the camera you can give a quick wink to the hottie best man.


      If you are lucky you won't get caught by  the photographer. I don't suggest doing such at a graduation party, unless they are finished with college. In that case flirt away!

She Who Runs Wild

      There once was a drow who was unlike any other. She was born with strange red marking upon her skin that no one could seem to translate. As she grew older she didn't seem to favor the typical drow way of life. For starters she was far kinder and had an affinity for animals, big ones, like the snarling wolves of the forest. She would spend all her time there with them.



      Once day a wise drow from another tribe came to see hers. When he saw her markings he couldn't believe his eyes. He had only ever seen the markings once before. He walked up to her and asked he if she knew what her markings meant. "They mean she who runs wild, at least that is what I believe it to say." He relied, "No my child those markings mean you were touched by the light. You will never fit in with drow society for you do not have the darkness within you that we all possess. To say she was stunned was an understatement. In her sadness she fled to the forest to seek comfort with the only creatures who had ever loved her, the wolves.

Game Night

I can't remember if I mentioned this before or not, but I have been playing RPG in my non-digital life for almost two years now. It was all new to me as I never played D&D or anything like it when I was a kid. The (mostly) guys that I play with have all been doing this since their youth so I was completely clueless. Every year we pick some sort of gaming system and setting. This year we are taking turns being the GM/DM. The first game we played I chose to be a bard. I basically just wanted to make up bawdy songs for my own amusement. As usual I had help creating my character so she is a whip wielding, lute playing half-elf bard.



This is what happens with the non-digital Mister helps me create a character. In fact I am wearing more clothes that I think my character does. This past weekend I didn't get to use her because the group was so small we decided to do a one off game. Guess who got to the the GM/DM, that's right this girl. It was my first time ever and luckily I didn't do as terribly as I had thought. Fine there were only four people instead of the usual ten or so, but that made it easier on me! Now I have revealed my not so secret nerdy side, lets move onto the credits.

This background seemed perfect for a few reasons at this moment. For starters the blog has been vacant for over a month. Between computer issues and non digital life craziness it just hasn't been happening. Hopefully that will be changing now. Also my mind has been a pretty vacant place. I think that is just a dramatic way of saying I have/had bloggers block. This usually happens when my inventory is a mess. Am I the only one who finds a chaotic inventory to be a distraction?

Trimming the tree

This year I had some help decorating my tree, since Livy was on break from preschool. She loves decorating the tree, but she doesn't exactly reach all the way to the top. That is where I come in. My job is to decorate the top parts of the tree, but even I need a step stool for it. Livy was getting a little distracted by Buster the puppy who was running around under the tree. The silly boy even tried to climb it. Sometimes I think he is part cat! Eventually Livy and I got the putting the star on top of the tree. I think next year I need a shorter tree or a taller step stool.

You don't know me and that is probably a good thing. You see I am a bounty hunter, and not the kind that works for the human courts. I am a soul bounty hunter. What's that you may be asking. Well here is the deal, whenever someone says "I would sell my soul for whatever nonsense they are desiring", one of the many damned lawyers pops up here and strikes a deal. You may think that we wait till that person eats it to collect their souls, but we can be an impatient lot downstairs. So when it the time comes to pony up and you try to sneak away they call me. I got out and I get the job done. You know when you meet someone and think they have "soulless eyes", yeah that is our handy work. Anyway I try to find the fun in the job, so sometimes I offer a game. If they can beat me in a game of poker they get to keep their souls. SPOILER ALERT! They never win.



Take this moron for instance. He agreed to play poker...with a demon. Did he honestly think he had a chance to win? I sometimes literally have an ace up my sleeve. I am a freaking bounty hunting demon, of course I don't play fair! Here is a helpful hint, don't offer you soul up for material things like this dude, no car is worth you soul. Oh and another one, if you are willing to sell it for something selfless, that isn't out bag and we kick it upstairs, your welcome. Now don't make me come after you!

Two Ladies, one event

The title says it all. If you haven't been to Sanarae yet here is a look at two different outfits that could be yours. Of course there are others, but we are only two bodies. I picked this cute little set from M.I.X because it had such a vintage feel to it. If I could time travel all I would do is shop, and maybe drink, but mostly shop. Bunny on the other hand went for a more cozy look with a big sweater.

This One is Mine

Shelter From the Rain

Into every life a little rain must fall, even my SLife. At least is SL I can choose my weather (for the most part) and yes I know I am being more literal than I need be. Tremaine Wicked

You would think that dressing up two ladies would be easy for me, but for some reason I had a hard time with these two. When we were at Disney World in December we had our picture taken with Cinderella, the prince, Drizella, Anastasia and their mother. Anastasia told my little man that he was a prince because he was being polite. SO maybe they aren't so wicked afterall? Who wouldn't want to worship a Deity? I mean how casual and cool does she look? The reason I am calling her a Deity is because the skin is from We (heart) Roleplay. Now for the record you don't have to be into roleplay to find something there to tickle your fancy. The skin was named for a goddess so I decided to make a modern goddess of love and fertility. Boned in Purple

That may not be the most tasteful of blog post titles, but it makes some sense. Well when you see the close up picture you see the bone details in the jewelry, but you can see my lovely ribs. And coffee because every day needs coffee!
Now you can see the jewelry and everything else better. Isn't it pretty? The set actually has a circlet too, but that would have looked kinda silly with everything else I am wearing. I think I should stop typing since I have lost my train of thought.

At the marina

I have always loved spending the day on a boat. Most of the time it was a canoe on the river, nothing as nice as the boats in this marina. It seemed fitting to shoot pictures at a marina because of the nautical colors of the skirt.
I also paired it with the new bow from BOOM, and my go to sweater from Pink Outfitters. Do you have a certain item in your inventory that is you go to, especially something system layer-y? What is yours?

Magnificent Mermaid

More fantastical avatars for you to get for a great cause. This time I am am taking a look at the mermaid avatars from TempT. This one is called Pea for obvious reasons. I feel like if there were mermaid showgirls this is exactly what they would look like. How fabulous do I look?
I also have something special to show you. One of the special events at Fantasy Faire is the Silent Auction where you can bid on special items. This item happens to be a one special colored mermaid avatar, named Odessa.
The only bits not included are the eyes and hair that I am wearing. It even comes with an AO!
You can however get the skin separate from the Auction item as a RFL item in the shops booth.

The Virgin Warrior

The Fantasy Faire is coming! This is a sneak peak as the Faire doesn't open till the 20th, but it doesn't hurt to start a shopping list. Today's sneak peak is all about the skin and armor from Plastik. I am a sucker for armor even if I don't wear it often.
Now I know this may not be the best judge of how I look, but when the hubby (who prefers WoW to SL) looks at my screen and says "Cool AV" I know I have something good going on. At least that is what I think.
Those lovely gems on my armor come with a HUD to change the color and type of stone. Yay options! Also the skirt bit comes with a HUD as well to change the fabric. I went with the white armor because it popped against the dark skin, and well I chose the skin with the red because it reminded me of fire so it seemed fitting for me. There are many color options though so I suggest when the Faire opens you go check it out!

Boho Snow

I am a little behind on things, but this is my Snow White look for the Disney Bound blogger challenge. I got it in my head that Snow White needed a little Boho look. I tend to get ideas stuck in my head like that. I think she came out pretty cute if I say so myself.
