No more planners, multiple cell phones and such for this boss. Ho no she now has the latest and greatest in Personal Data Assistants. Sure she may be bigger and more colorful, but trust me she makes work a whole lot easier. It's nice having an employee with all ten digits that requires no salary. Unholy Love Child

It appears that the Bride of Frankenstein stepped out on her husband with their monstrous neighbor Edward, you may know him by his full name, Edward Scissorhands. Mrs. Frankenstein loved her daughter very much but her husband couldn't stand the site of her and so she was locked away in a tower Rapunzel style. Unfortunately I don't think there will be a roguish thief or handsome prince coming to her rescue.

Every day she looks down from her tower hoping for freedom. Maybe one day she will find a way to escape or someone will free her, but until then she has the bats that fly around to keep her company.

Music and Petals

Even an elf needs a happy place. Sometimes that happy place is full of music, flowers and trees like this cream clad elf's happy place.

On occasion when the mood strikes she will sit at her piano an play a sweet melody, other times she will stop and smell the roses. Both the music and the scent of the flowers seem to have a calming effect on her when the stresses of power get to be too much.

Petals and Purples

It's Fantasy Faire time! The time of year when my imagination gets to run wild. It can be a scary prospect, but I love it. It also gives me a chance to try out new styles that I normally may be to chicken to try. My outfit and hair today are both available at Fantasy Faire. The hair is technically a men's style, but I think I rock it fairly well.

I wanted to try and get as many pictures of the kimono as possible without overwhelming you with pictures. There is something about the texturing on the rope that just draws me in as does the iridescence of the bow in the front. It's little things like these that always seem to draw my eye.

Sweet Outdoors

Blue skies and light breezes and the warmth of the sun, could there be anything better? Spring has finally arrived here where I live in with it has come the sun and nice warm days. It's enough to make anyone want to run barefoot through a field. Unfortunately the grass hasn't quite gotten to the lovely shade of green that it gets in the summer time.

Soon enough it will be bathing suit and backyard barbecue time!

Painting in the raw

I have to admit I am a very messy painter. In fact I have decided that it is better for me to do my painting in the nude. It saves my clothes the abuse of my less than prim painting. Now that my artistic endeavors are done it is time to hop into the bath to get all cleaned up.

Nothing like a luxurious bath to get clean after being so inspired. I think I will just take my sweet time getting all cleaned up.

The Commute

Time to grab a coffee and catch a train into the city for a little retail therapy. While it may be relaxing living in a cute rural area, the shopping is a bit limited. So it's either catch the train into the city or not shop. Not shopping is not an option, so there you have it.

In my own world

I have a habit of wearing my headphones all around so that I have music playing almost always. Everything just seems to get done faster when there is music playing. It's possible that I may sing along and dance while doing the dishes or laundry. I decided that since I do such in my non digital life that I would mirror it sort of in my digital one. I could see myself bopping along down the street with headphones on going...somewhere.

At least here on the barren digital streets I won't get weird looks when I sing along...or a cat trying to knock my headphones off to make me stop singing.

Rising Waters

I knew when I saw the name of this dress, Nereid, that I needed to take pictures in or by water. That is because I knew it sounded familiar and after a little Googling I realized why. In Greek mythology Nereids are sea nymphs. Though I guess I could have been an alien from Jupiter's moon, but I prefer a sea nymph. The dress is available in other colors and comes with a HUD to change the baubles and inner layer of the dress. I chose this color set because made me think of a tropical beach. Which is where I would like to be right now instead of in the cold and snow!

Walking Out of a Dream

I have been walking around the lands of Second Life most of this week in this outfit trying to figure out where and how I wanted to take the pictures for this post. I ended up scouting the Explore Second Life Flickr group. I put this outfit on as I was sorting my inventory and liked it so much that I had to take a picture of it. Look of the Day

I was having trouble figuring out how I wanted to photo this look so I decided to go with a simple look of the day type thing. I know it's not the most creative thing in the world, but at least you get a good view of what I am wearing. I wanted to make sure you also got to see the details on the skirt. The little metal embellishments on the pleats just tickles my fancy, maybe because it gives a sort of edge to an otherwise "harmless" skirt. Inner Goddess

Today I decided that my inner goddess needed to come out to play. Of course that was all insprired by the newest dress from Lassitude & Ennui. It makes me feel all pretty and worshipable, not that I expect anyone to ever worship me.

Celestial Princess

Moons and stars have been one of my favorite things for ages. In fact I have two tattoos of such things on my non-pixelated person. No I will not tell you where they are! Today I have dressed in blue with the moon and stars hung upon my person.

Floating high above the Earth watching all that go on below gives a girl time to think. The brightness of the moon glowing and the twinkling of the stars can't help but bring a smile to my face.
As much of a smile as one can muster when she is ruling.

Lovely LOTD

Happy Mondays my dears. Today I shall call Love Day Monday, mostly because my shirt says love. Awaiting the Prince

He said to meet him at the fountain, and so here I am waiting his arrival. Maybe he is having trouble getting away. I know I am not exactly the "typical" type he goes for, but there is just something about they way we are when we are together.

Sure I may be not have a title or wealth, but what we share is something deeper that no amount of money can buy. When we are together we are our true selves, no need to be proper for him and well I can be my sarcastic self without glares from others.

Dockside

Sometimes a girl just needs to get away, to take a little holiday to refresh and recharge. If only it were just that easy to do. For this little trip I thought I would combine some soft blues can casual apparel with something a little harder, like spikes.

Stretching Her Legs

...continued from yesterday.
After the mermaid awoke the man found an old pair of his pajama bottoms and tank top for her to wear. He set her up in his spare room with all the things one would normally have to get better. Of course the poor dear was not at all used to sleeping in a human bed. She found herself tossing and turning trying to find the right position.

Once the mermaid was feeling up to it, and the young man had time to go out and get some proper clothes for her, he took her out to explore his village. The first stop was to get her hair trimmed as she had trouble seeing through her long hair. He allowed her to wander around on her own, though he always kept her in eyesight, just in case. She was almost instantly drawn to the fountain in the the center of the town.

The spray of the water reminded her of her own home under the sea. The water had no effect on her fins however because it was fresh water and not the salt water like home. It made her long for her own home, but she also wanted to stay with the young man who had been so kind and loving to her. Her heart was being pulled in two different directions.

Blood Lace

It's been a few days since I got off my arse and blogged. I swear it's not because I am a slacker. It's just that I have been taking a bunch of pictures and trying to mentally write the post to go with them. It's one of my stories so you know it's going to have multiple parts. However I should be focusing on the picture above huh? The dress is a cute one from DeeTalez with optional arm warmers. Since I have been freezing the last couple of days I went with arm warmers. The lace detailing made making my shoes easy, I went with the lace booties from lassitude & ennui. I admit I am a Slink compatible shoe junkie now. To cap off the look I am wearing the latest necklace from my Lolapop!, it's a gacha that is in her store now, so you make need a couple of goes at it to get this color, but there are other colors.
