Say Cheese Mother Nature

      When I was first learning how to use windlights and how to edit pictures a friend had me start out with sunsets. I can still remember what he first taught me and I have added to my skill list, even if I don't use them that often. They have helped me to same some family photos from terrible lighting and the dreaded red eye. In my non-digital life I recently was gifted a nice new camera. I am by no means a great photographer, but I do enjoy snapping away.


      I haven't had a chance to head to the beach with it yet, but I did use it for some event planning I did. Hopefully I will get some much needed beach time soon. If I do maybe I will share them on Flickr.

Two for the Road

Getting stranded in the middle of now where is not my idea of a fun road trip. Sure we may be at a truck stop, but it's still a lonely road that isn't traveled much. Hopefully someone will come along and offer us a ride or else this may become our new home. At least we won't get overheated in the hot hot sun, we aren't exactly bundled up here. We were on our way out to LA to see if we could land a role in a movie or something. Hey we'd even be happy just being extras. Screen time is screen time after all, and beggars can't be choosers! Wish us luck on finding a rise the rest of the way!

One of my requirements for any house it to have a spot in the back yard for my to enjoy a drink, or drinks. Some days call for more than one you know. Minty Stroll

That guitar looks mighty tempting, too bad I have no musical talent. Maybe if I grabbed a few pennies and tossed them into the well I could wish for some. I don't think that is how it works so maybe I can just find someone to teach me. And maybe another teacher for the piano. Oh I know instead of collecting objects I shall collect teachers. Let's see first on the list a guitar teacher, then a piano teacher, then maybe I could learn the violin.

I better get a move on, that is a lot of instructors to find and instruments to rent, or buy. Oh I wonder if I can add a vintner to teach me the fine art of making wine!

Unholy Love Child

It appears that the Bride of Frankenstein stepped out on her husband with their monstrous neighbor Edward, you may know him by his full name, Edward Scissorhands. Mrs. Frankenstein loved her daughter very much but her husband couldn't stand the site of her and so she was locked away in a tower Rapunzel style. Unfortunately I don't think there will be a roguish thief or handsome prince coming to her rescue.

Every day she looks down from her tower hoping for freedom. Maybe one day she will find a way to escape or someone will free her, but until then she has the bats that fly around to keep her company.

A Town of Mr. Butlers

A friend suggested I hop on this green train for an adventure. I really should do some research before taking advice. I didn't know it was going to be cold and snowing so I wasn't exactly dressed for the weather.

When I got off the train I was greeted by what I thought were twins, and they were offering up some champagne so I grabbed a glass and headed inside. I needed to get warm.

When I got inside there was another one and he was serving up champagne too. He had a little more flair going on than what I assume were his brothers. Maybe they are triplets I thought.

I walked deeper into the building in search of a bathroom. I did drink all that champagne and well nature was calling. I stumbled across another man, he must have been the black sheep of the butler family because he was serving up wine instead. By this time I had counted four identical Mr. Butlers and I was started to get a little worried. I snuck out of the bathroom window to find an escape from Crazytown. To be honest I was starting to think they were robots or maybe even clones and I did not want to stick around.

I found a row boat and was about to make my escape when my foot hit the water. Man it was freezing! But I soldiered on and rowed my little heart out and made it home with no troubles.

Planning Dinner

Sometimes I like to be a good wife and make a nice dinner, it's rare, but it does happen. Today happened to be one of those days. I figured after a long work week he would enjoy a romantic home cooked meal. I started by picking out some flowers for the table, mostly because I like having fresh flowers in the house.

It was a tough choice, I mean I adore tulips, but maybe some roses would be my appropriate for a romantic dinner at home. I won't bore you with the details of shopping for all the things to make dinner with. Though you can see a bit of the ingredients poking out of my shopping bag.

Hopefully it will be a nice surprise and a great way to kick off a nice relaxing weekend together.

Calming Waters

Some days I can get a little overwhelmed or stressed, on those days I seek out water. There is just something to soothing about the sound of waves crashing on the shore. I will admit to also having a fondness for waterfalls. Luckily the sounds of the water did the trick and my jangled nerves were soothed, for a time at least.
