Toys for each girl and boy

      While I was at the North Pole I learned something. Now I wasn't given specifics, but it appears that Santa is the biggest importer in the world. He told me he had several companies throughout the world to get the goods he needs for making every Christmas gift. It seems these businesses are "run" by elves, but they look human as to not arouse suspicion. I asked how this was possible and was again given the "Christmas Magic" excuse. It seems that they even import all natural fabrics and dyes for some of the stuffed animals. I was allowed into the toymaking training workshop. You see before the elves are allowed to move on to more complicated toys they need to master the basics, stuffed animals and wooden toys.

      As you can see the wooden toys come in a variety of ways, though it looks like someone snuck in a non-wooden toy into the workshop. Every toys gets played with for a little bit just to make sure they will hold up. The stuffed animals seem to get extra snuggles from this elf. The elves in the toy workshops all end up with tons of boxes laying around because after the toys are tested they are sent to the gift wrapping workshop before making their way into Santa's magic bag. We will see that workshop tomorrow!

Daisy Chained

   Daisies, is there any other flower that you can associate love, childhood playfulness and a sense of whimsy with? Okay there may be for you, but not for me. I remember making daisy chain necklaces in my younger days, and the scene in Alice in Wonderland (the animated movie). Of course as I got older I would violently rip the petals from a daisy wondering if he loved me or id he loved me not, and we all know we would fudge it to make it end on he loves me. Then came the science lessons with the colored water and the daisies, causing their petals to change color according to the water color. I am not sure what I was supposed to be learning since I only remembered the flower changing color. Now here I am in a world all my own in a field full of daisies. Maybe it can be my very own wonder land.

Strolling the grounds

I have escaped, even if is is only for a short period of time. I get so tired of all these dances that my mother insists on throwing in hopes of marrying me of to some suitable man of means. I am more than just some pretty creature for some over stuffed aristocrat to have on his arm and bear his children. Don't get my wrong I am not against marriage, but I want it to be for love, not because it will be beneficial to my family's standing in this community.

I should probably return indoors before my father sends someone out to fetch me. If only I could be like one of the swans that swims in our pond. Free to fly where ever, but also finding a partner for life.

Rise and Fall

There seems to be so much I want to blog and so little time to do it all in. Today I have some more items from the Fantasy Gacha Carnival. Not all birds are meant to fly, and neither was I until I got some balloons to help me out.

Of course as the saying goes "What goes up must come down", well that applies to me as much as an apple.

Luckily my flight took me over water so my landing was a bit wet but otherwise I was fortunatly unscathed.
