Broken Tea Party

      Have you ever had an idea for a picture and as you start getting ready for it it goes in a completely different direction? That is what happened this time. You see it was going to be a cute little post featuring my obsession with macarons in SL. I have a collection, it's not embarrassing at all. Then as I was setting it up it took a turn toward the darker side. Here have a look for yourself....

      It seems the only things not...damaged at this tea party at the pot, cup and treats. Even the bats have lost their color! For the record I also have an inordinate amount of tea pots and cups is SL. No I am not a hoarder, I am a collector, there is a difference. Here look at my cute little broken face.

      Someone needs to come along and fix all of us broken things.

Please forgive the lack of SLURLs today as I am currently evacuated from my home due to Hurricane Dorian. I hope to be back to posting regularly when I am back in my home.

Wine Tasting

      One of the activities I enjoy in my non-digital life is to visit vineyards and wineries. In fact there is one just a few miles from my new house so you know where I will be on the weekends, It doesn't hurt that there is a distillery right down the street either! But that is not what I am about today. You see not all vineyards and wineries are the same. At some there are coolers where you can purchase nibbles, as seen in the picture below, at others these are not available. I personally enjoy the ones were I can pick up some nibbles to go with a lovely glass on whatever wine strikes my fancy.


      Some of the vineyards I have visited do have little outdoor seating areas where you and your friend(s) can go relax in the the sun while sipping away and chatting about whatever strikes you fancy. Now that I will be living closer to friends I hope to do this sort of thing more often, but don't worry I will still be here to write about some nonsense or another.

Always Tulips, Never Roses

        Everyone has something they prefer, when it comes to flowers it's always tulips and never roses. I just don't care for roses, nor do I care for diamonds. Yes I wear diamonds, but the ones I wear have sentimental value. In my digital life that dislike doesn't carry over as much. You see in my digital life I don't have to smell the roses (not a scent I am a fan of), no do I feel uncomfortable in diamonds in my digital life.


      While roses don't bother me in my digital life I will always pick them up whenever I see them being sold.

Wrapping it up

      The last workshop I visited was the wrapping on and as this is my last post on the visit to the North Pole, I figured it was fitting. During this time of year there is a whole hurry up and wait thing happening. As you may be able to guess the toy making and such goes on year round. There are some things that get asked for year after year so these are some of the things that get built. Trains, bikes and the like are constantly in production as well as those toys that may take longer to make. Because so many are made the elves wrap then and store them in facilities year round. They have some sort of organizational set up that was beyond my understanding, but it was impressive. However some gifts need to be made late in the game so the wrapping elves are always on their toes, not literally of course.

      As you can see here this elf has been busy wrapping quite a few of those last minute gifts. I got to see what they were, but I am sworn to secrecy. Lets just say I know some people who will be very happy come Christmas morning. Just a short time later she was resting, waiting for the next flood of gifts to come her way.

      This is the wait part of that whole hurry up and wait thing I talked about earlier. I am sure she is still rushed off her feet wrapping more gifts for good boys and girls. Oh and if you were wondering why I only have photos of some female elves it's because they were more willing to allow me to take their photo. What's a gal to do?

Decorations Galore

      Today's adventures bring us to the Decorations Workshop. Here the elves work on creating all the decorations needed to make the season bright. The sheer amount of tinsel in this workshop was terrifying, mostly because I know what my cats would do with it, but that is a whole other story for another day.

      As you can see there are lights and ornaments galore in here, along with some other decorations for a persons home. You see there are some houses that Santa spends a little extra time in because he decorates it for the occupants. I have no idea how he finds the time to do this on top of all the presents he delivers. I asked but he just said it was " Santa Magic". I have a feeling there is more to it than that, but I wasn't about to argue, I did not what to end up on the naughty list!

      I did learn one thing while I was in this workshop, whenever an ornament is set to head off to a family an elf whispers a wish for them into it. Sometimes it's a little something, like having the merriest Christmas, but other times it can be a greater wish. Often this wish comes true, I am not sure if it is elf magic, Santa magic or what, but it works whatever it is. I will see you tomorrow when we visit the Wrapping Workshop.

Wicked Witch

      Happy Halloween all you ghosts and ghouls and other things that go bump in the night. Today I am finishing off my witchy series with The Wicked Witch. As with the Good Witch I used The Wizard of Oz as one of my references for the Wicked Witch.



      As you can see I went with the classic green Wicked Witch skin, though I did skip the chin hairs and warts on the nose. It appears even as a Wicked Witch I still have vanity issues. Also with a name like Phire, you knew my witchy self had to toss around some fireballs, it's just too fitting.

Tea Time

It's tea time! I have a confession to make. I collect teacups in SL. I know it seems a bit strange, but I do. I have a soft spot for teacups. So it's not surprising that when The Arcade rolls around and there are teacups to be had I seek them out.

There are times where I attempt to get all the pieces of a tea set.

I am also a sucker for tulips. Combine some tulips with a cute bunny and I am all over that cuteness!
And what is a tea party with out dressing up all prettily? I think I shall call these two Cinnamon and Sugar based on what we are wearing. Cinnamon obviously being the one in red, because it more cinnamony than that minty one.

Broken Heart or Rage Brewing

I can't tell from the look on my face if I am broken hearted or if there is a rage brewing. I had been going for a broken heart, you know with Valentine's Day this weekend I wanted to do something.
