Bossy Bird

It's Disney Bounding catch-up time. This time is it Zazu, that bossy bird from the Lion King. I figured it would make sense to be in a library because Zazu was a knowledgeable bird, though I am pretty sure it wasn't book smarts he had.
I couldn't help but squeeze in a little Arcade action in this post. What can I say my vain self is digging the way I look in the Glam Affair gacha skin, so expect to see more of them. Up next is Mr. Smee, Captain Hooks little cohort.

Gold(en) Afternoon

So if you couldn't guess this is my attempt at gold. You would think this would be easy since it is in the yellow family, but truth is I really don't like gold. I may have mentioned this in posts over the years. Though I guess in clothing gold isn't so bad, but I am not a gold jewelry fan. Go figure.

Dainty Dandelions

Dandelion was admittedly an easy color for me since my inventory is chock full of various shades of yellow. Hey some girls collect pink, I go for yellow.


I dug out an older outfit and went for a cute cheerleader type look this week.


While Sakura was all frills and ruffles. If you knew her as well as I do you would know this is not a normal look for her. She is usually more of a jeans wearing tomboy kinda girl. Don't tell her I told you though, she could probably kick my ass. Until next time where were will be in avocado.......man I want some guacamole now.

Tending to the reindeer

Now everyone seems to think that the elves take care of everything up North but lets be honest they can't do it alone. So they have help and over the past few days we have met a few. Today I will introduce you to Regina, she tends to the reindeer. Now everyone knows Santa has at least eight, well nine if you count Ruldolph, reindeer, but there are more. You see reindeer are just like other animals and they can get sick and injured so Regina takes the time to train replacements.


She shares a very special bond with each one, some are even the offspring of the more famous reindeer.


Rudolph is a randy fellow and I guess is making up for lost time because there are a fair few in Regina's care who share his erm...unique traits.


Regina takes such good care of them that they have made her an honorary reindeer and bestowed upon her special antlers. Tomorrow I get a special inside tour from one of Santa's elves!

Yeah again I went literal with the name. Of course now I feel guilty after I learned what the name was originally was and what it meant. Oh well as I have learned it to be Blitzen and what I know the word to mean this is what you get. It also means she is the eighth and last reindeer.

Cupid

I will admit Vixen is the first reindeer I styled as she was the easiest (no pun intended). Looking all sexy in a short red sequin dress and some sexy heels. Maybe she and Prancer should get together. They look like a good pair don't you think?

Yellow striped not bikini

Okay so it doesn't sound as good as "yellow polka dot bikini", but it looks a whole lot cuter. This bathing suit is the new Vintage Swimmer's Suit from Scribble, and before I even had a chance to go get it in yellow my bestie had dropped it on me. She knows me all too well. There are ribbons on each side and on the chest of the bathing suit that come as one attachment or as individual ones. How awesome is that? It comes in a bunch of other colors too, but since yellow is my favorite that is all you get to see, sorry.


I chose to wear the new Leslie hair from Exile in these photos because it just gave the pictures this great feeling of movement. I got the poses I am using at Glitterati, which happens to be having a rocking sale right now that you should check out!

I am a caterpillar

This week I am going to go for my own take on Alice in Wonderland because I have watched the new Alice in Wonderland movie way too many times in the last few weeks. To say that my kids love it would be an understatement. Anyway the first character I decided to put my Phire stank on was Caterpillar. I was inspired to do Caterpillar because of one of the new releases from Vanitas Vesture.


This dress is called the Opiate Dress (part of the Wonderland Collection) which really does seem to fit well with Caterpillar don't you think? The swirls in the dress just look like smoke enveloping the dress. I am hoping that SarahTheRed had caterpillar in mind when she created this dress otherwise I feel kinda silly. I of course am showing it in blue but it comes in nine other colors!


Since caterpillar is often seen smoking I figured I needed to include some form of smoking in the look, but I thought the bubble pipe from Scribble would be a fitting choice, at least for me. My skin is part of the Fantasy collection from Cupcakes. You will be seeing more from this skin line in some other posts I have coming up so keep an eye out!

Seeking My Inner Vampyre

If you know me then it's no secret my lack of love of that holiday coming up. Despite all of this I do have a love of all things Vampy/Were-ish/Witchy. So for this week I decided to find my inner Vamp.

This was all easy with the new Vampy skins from [][]Trap[][]. Available in tones from white to dark, the Vampy skins are a soft ancient looking alternative to your blood soaked usual vamp skins you see around the grid. I am wearing the Tone 1 Pale version here and it is now my "normal" skin :D

I figured I would dress my little vampy self in a style that reminds me very much of a friend. The Shredder dress from Plastik was perfect for just this. Now I will warn you, wear panties unless you want the world to see what your Momma gave you. I am not wearing any here because 1. I wanted to wear this incredible tattoo from Garden of Ku and 2. The [][]Trap skin lacks the girly bits below so perv all you want you aren't getting anything :P

I topped the whole look off with a little touch of Sakura. My hair is from D!va which I will now dub as Wallet Death because all the hair there is $100L a color, gives you two versions, one with bangs, one without and is cute as hell! (thank you for showing it to me Mr. Going to make me broke <3) Be warned, the hair is no mod but does include resizer scripts, so if the demo doesn't look good, don't buy, easy right? I also am wearing the Tentacle bullring made by me for my shop Lazy Places (shameless plug) and the cute as can be Nevermore wings from Scribble :D

The warm weather is coming!

 

I know where I live this weekend it is going to be warm, like in the 80's. Sure that may not seem like much to some of you, but in the Northeastern part of the US 80's in April is rare and we are getting a whole weekend of it! So that got me thinking about warm weather attire.
Capri pants are a great choice since the temp does drop when the sun goes down. I love the apple-y color of this tube top since it is easily a spring/summery color. I chose to wear flats because I find myself wearing them more and more often in SL and RL. OMG does that mean I am becoming my avatar or is my avatar becoming more me? I think I will go ponder that while you look at the last picture and the credits.

Green girl

Deviance just released some new jeans and one style has stars! By now anyone who reads le blog knows I love stars. Being the modest girl that I am…hey stop that snickering!....I chose wear a shirt, even though these jeans would be great on their own. I tossed on this halter and sweater in green from Naïve. They are on sale currently because they are green. The Naïve green sale reminded me of the Scribble green sale, which is where I picked up my shoes and hair. Notice the star on the hat, well technically the stitch pattern is changeable, but of course I picked the star.

Rounding out all this starry goodness is a lip ring that I picked up from ellabella. The star was purple but because I am a clever little minx, I tinted it green to match the rest of my outfit.

The titleless blog post

Where to start with this post? I guess first its lack good title is one thing we could talk about. I had this fantastic title all figured out. Of course as it happens I figured it out right as I was going to sleep and promptly forgot what it was when I awoke. Figures that when I decide to clean of my night stand and remove all the notepads that it when inspiration strikes, Murphy’s Law and I that I guess.



Anyway it is now March and the time for green. Today I decided to sport the Green Whale Hooker dress from *katat0nik*. Now this is one of the dresses that you have to fish up the pieces for. A lot of fun and in my opinion easier then getting the pieces for the original Whale Hooker dress. To add to the green going on here I chose the new Bunny hair from Scribble with the ribbons that I tinted green. It’s so adorably cute. Now trying not to overdo it on the green I went for these great shoes from Lassitude & Ennui. The Hitomi shoes are an older shoe, but work so well with so many of Kat’s dresses.



My skin is from Cheeky Girls and if you haven’t been over there yet you are missing out. Not only are the skins beautiful, but they are mod and have add-ons you can buy. Here I have added the shoulder freckles to my skin and I love them! This past weekend they released their add-ons on clothing layers so you could add freckles, skinned knees or even a spanked behind to your skins. Of course with all this sweet innocence I felt the need to darken things a little with my black soulless eyes. There is something about these eyes that I adore, maybe it is my dark and sinister side trying to come out and play? I am sure you are tired of my babbling so here are the credits.
