Good news and a little delay

There will be some delays with new posts for a bit. Nothing is wrong fret not. The good news is I got a new computer that can handle almost anything I throw at it. The bad news is not everything copied over, like it should have. So I am currently playing a game of get to know you and fix my settings to my liking. Once I get all that done I should be up an running. Then Holidays are also getting here faster than I thought they would. Either way I hope to be back posting in a regular way ASAP!

Sunshine Lollipops and Rainbows

Fine there are no lollipops or rainbows, but I am a very bright sunshiney yellow. I bought this dress back around Halloween and there it sat waiting for me ever so patiently. Such a good little dress it is. I paired the dress with this Melancholy necklace because the petals of the flowers reminded me of the white ruffle trim on the dress.


But wait it's not just a dress! Along with the skirt is a tunic option so you can toss it on over your favorite pair of jeans, or leggings or well you get the idea.

Going on an Adventure!

Getting weary from all the grid wide hunts going on? Want to do something fun and challenging? Well I have just the thing for you. Head on over to Sanu and try your luck at the latest adventure hunt. This time you will be following in Chloe's tracks to find the King of the Dale's missing keys. At the end of the quest you will find out if you are worthy of knighthood or just a thieving rogue. I will admit I did get stumped a couple of times trying to find the keys, but in the end it was completely worth it.

These are the prizes you can get from each of the keys. Each key costs 1L, but really what you get is worth so much more! There are two different lip ring options, a belly ring, ring, earrings, choker, nose stud, head dress and monocle all for the finding!

At the very end of the quest when you meet the King there is also the option to buy an add on set to the quest prizes. This include another set of earrings, monocle with dangly bits and two different style chokers. If the add on set is out of your price range there are tips jars set up so you can show Sanura how much fun you had.

Newness from Exile and Shine!

Last night I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at the new home to Exile and others, Covet. What an appropriate name cause boy did I want a lot! First we will start with the new releases from Exile, while there may be ones for the boys I am going to focus on my two favorites for the ladies. First up is the Love Story hair. This is a beautiful updo perfect for a night out. Next up is Ursula, of course when I hear Ursula I always think of the sea witch from The Little Mermaid, but there is nothing evil about this style!

If you are part of the update group you can go in there and pick up a special coloring of the Ursula hair and the boys style Jiro too. I think it looks pretty good on the ladies as well. Look for yourself.

Oh and if you have trouble picking out what colors you may want fear not, for there is a free wearable color demo, a cute pony tail style. Who knows you may be surprised to find a color you never thought you would wear. I know Sakura did last night!

Now Exile is not the only shop finding a home on Covet. For weeks Miss Brandy has been teasing those of us on Plurk with little glimpses of her works in progress and finally last night I was able to see the fruits of her labor. Not only did I grab the eyes you see in the pictures (the first eyes I have found that come close to my RL eyes), but also some pretty shinys too. I picked up the Geo set because well I had to have it and I even told Brandy I wanted a RL version to wear.

Fine maybe I won't eat you but I will think very bad thoughts about you. I know I have you cowering in fear now.

So here is my one ARC, zero prim look I will be rocking at the RFL clothing fair in the near future. I don't mind going bald at all, I mean it is for a great cause after all. I picked out a skin that is one that I don't get to wear on an everyday basis. What better time to bust out those super funky skins that I know you have sitting in your inventory just dying to be let out. As for my clothing I chose to keep it simple in a pair of jeans and a lovely minty top, just the right splash of colors against the grey skin. And of course who needs shoes, it's not like you are *really* going to step on anything nasty.

....to an outfit at least.

So after I showed you my inability to commit to an outfit I thought I would show you one that I was able to commit to, for a few days in fact. I don't know if it is because it is March or the Irish blood in me, but I love the greens in this outfit. Not to mention the fact that there are stars on my shoes and lip ring, always an outfit plus in my book. The leopard leggings paired with the skirt make it a nice spring outfit. Perfect for when it is not warm enough to go out with bare legs but too nice to be trapped in pants. We have been getting a taste of that kind of weather around here and I hope it lasts, even though deep down I know we can still get snow storms into April. Ah well such is life. Winter can't last forever and I say bring on spring!

What I wore yesterday

tuYesterday I was bored and decided to chronicle my outfit changes throughout the day. It was really amusing to see what I started the day and ended the day in. The middle of the day is usually chaotic and when I am busy in RL.

I started off the day in black. I really quite liked this outfit a lot. It amused my that my morning outfit could also be dubbed a mourning outfit because of all that black. Yup I am quite easily amused and had way to much caffeine coursing through me in the morning.

After looking over the feed I came across this post which led to this post which led to the picture above. I was trying feebly to goth up Barbie. I think I made her look more insane then goth, but oh well

Since I didn't want to stay looking like Barbie all day I changed back into my usual self. There was no way I wanted her body or blue eyes all day. I admit I was being a bit lazy and didn't bother changing my hair from the Barbie pictures. I likes the sweetness of all the pink and hearts but with the skulls balancing everything out.

I finished off the night in this outfit. I think this is the longest I have ever spent trying to put together a look. I basically challenged myself to find something to wear with the snakeskin pants. I had those sitting in my inventory for the longest time with no idea what sort of top to wear with it. I think I did a good job and the day came full circle since I ended the day in the same skin that I started it in. Not too shabby eh?

The Laundry Fairy is hard at work

It is days like today that have me convinced that my kids believe that there is a magical fairy that delivers clean folded clothes to their bedroom. Even though they have seen me and on rare occasions actually help with it, it still seems like magic. Is it obvious that I have been doing laundry all day in my RL?

It's a dirty job, more now that there is mud around, but someone has to do it!

The titleless blog post

Where to start with this post? I guess first its lack good title is one thing we could talk about. I had this fantastic title all figured out. Of course as it happens I figured it out right as I was going to sleep and promptly forgot what it was when I awoke. Figures that when I decide to clean of my night stand and remove all the notepads that it when inspiration strikes, Murphy’s Law and I that I guess.



Anyway it is now March and the time for green. Today I decided to sport the Green Whale Hooker dress from *katat0nik*. Now this is one of the dresses that you have to fish up the pieces for. A lot of fun and in my opinion easier then getting the pieces for the original Whale Hooker dress. To add to the green going on here I chose the new Bunny hair from Scribble with the ribbons that I tinted green. It’s so adorably cute. Now trying not to overdo it on the green I went for these great shoes from Lassitude & Ennui. The Hitomi shoes are an older shoe, but work so well with so many of Kat’s dresses.



My skin is from Cheeky Girls and if you haven’t been over there yet you are missing out. Not only are the skins beautiful, but they are mod and have add-ons you can buy. Here I have added the shoulder freckles to my skin and I love them! This past weekend they released their add-ons on clothing layers so you could add freckles, skinned knees or even a spanked behind to your skins. Of course with all this sweet innocence I felt the need to darken things a little with my black soulless eyes. There is something about these eyes that I adore, maybe it is my dark and sinister side trying to come out and play? I am sure you are tired of my babbling so here are the credits.

Who wore it best volume 2

Consider this the grid wide hunt edition of who wore it best, sorta. The shirt and pants are one of Alphamale's hunt gifts. This time instead of wearing the same hair I chose to wear the male and female versions of the same hair. This hair was a group gift from Philotic Energy way back in January..hehe. Both the skins are from Belleza but only the male skin was from the hunt.




Overall I love this look on both of me but I have to admit the girl looks better in that tomboy sorta way. Oh and the shoes are the Jax boots from LazyPlaces, very similar to the ones given out at Halloween during that grid wide hunt. So who do you think looks better?

Wanted: Skanks for tv show...

I love trashy reality TV. Why am I telling you this? Well it is because when I saw the Renee hair from House of Heart I was immediately reminded of Bret Michaels. Yes that Bret Michaels, of Poison fame, or as of late the wonderful reality train wreck that is Rock of Love on VH1, see how I tied it back to the beginning statement there? Now I know it is not a full head bandana nor does it have a cowboy hat, but hey first impressions are what they are.

If you have never watched the show, for one you are a far better person then I, but just so you know it is basically a show about strippers (current and former) and porn stars (again current and former) all vying for the love of a rock star. Well this put a thought into my head what would happen if I tried to combine the look of Bret (i.e. the hair) with the look of the erm…ladies(skimpy dresses and lots of makeup). This is the result.

I hope you don't think any less of me knowing one of my dark secrets ;)

Ms Bunneh goes surfing!

Ms Bunneh is going out into the world this week and seeing what adventures she can have. Of course Ms. Bunneh will have to look fab in her adventures...she does have standards after all. I will be there to take photos and document her movements for the next few days. On with the adventures!

Steampunk Phire

Tearsong wanted to see a steampunkier Phire, what, steampunkier is a word or at least it is now. She gave me a few suggestions to pick up from League and I chose the Steampunk Apocalypse outfit. I must admit I fell in love with the little armband because, even though you can’t see it in the pictures, the hand on the astrolabe spins!



This outfit also gave me the chance to wear the Captive Hexacog necklace that I have had sitting in my inventory for a while. This necklace is one of those that I was drawn to, it just called out to me and I had to have it. It is an amazing work of tiny little prims.

Mana Phire

Lola wanted to see me in a goth lolli j-rock inspired look. She sent me over to Illuminati for and outfit and suggested BareRose for a skin. She also mentioned that Mana from Malice Mizer would be good inspiration. After a little googling, yes I am that clueless, I was on my way.


I picked the blue Ma Cherie dress cause well it was blue and I like colors! Not to mention that it is completely adorable and has tons of choices. Ilove the little headband thinger all ruffly and cuteness. In fact I am wearing it to a party this weekend! As for the skin, in a lot of the pictures I saw Mana was rocking the blue lips and Lola was right BareRose was the place to go. I knew that I wanted some cute curly pigtails and luckily I had just the thing in my inventory from House of Heart. Anyway this was my attempt. If I failed Lola then that means you need to take me out shopping and educate me :)

Dress me up- by the boys

Late last week I was mentioned on Plurk how much I was loving being other peoples Barbie doll. Of course Sven (Sakura's boy) and Davey, who you have seen on the blog here once before were confused. After some tears from me accusing them on not reading the blog they both made suggestions. Well since I am an equal opportunity kinda gal I decided to go for it. From what you see below you can guess which guy is NOT allowed to dress himself.

First the look by Sven. He said he wanted to see me in a tutu, bear foot slippers and a batman mask. Well I admit I fudged this one a little skipping the Batman mask for just a black mask I already had. Since he didn't mention anything for a shirt I decided to be cheeky or would this be chesty? and go topless wearing only my trusty pasties.




Davey said he wanted to see me dressed up as a mobsters girlfriend. I had to ask Davey which sort of mobsters he was thinking, the tommy gun toting kind or the "Casino" kind. He left it up to me and I knew just what to wear. The Scarlett Mobstress outfit from Kyoot Army was just the ticket and I already had a gun in my inventory.....don't ask.

Harajuku Phire

After all the black and dark colors of my gothy look by Achariya it was time for some color. Alright so Sakura may have suggested this because I was whining about the lack of bright colors in my last look but what can I say I like my colors. Oh if you couldn't figure it out Sakura suggested a more Harajuku look for me which was echoed by Yuvi. Sakura was kind ebough to give me a website and sent me on my merry way.


Now I know I could have attached so much more to myself, but you see I am kinda at the mercy of attachment points and layers :(
