No no I am not soulless, well at least not that I will admit. My sandals are soleless, and new too! It's a play on words, get it?

Please pardon the not perfectly tinted feet. For some reason I was totally off my tinting game today. Anyway they pretty ankle wraps are the pretty item out at the jewelry fair from Studio Sidhe. Because my tinting skills were well lacking today I am going to show you close ups of the beads, sans feet...

Lazy Friday

There is nothing better to do on a nice sunny day than to rest relax outside in the sun. Of course it is always nice to do it in something brand spanking new like my shirt. Fair Dark Mouse

Now normally I wouldn't put a gift from a fair up front and center on the blog like this, but for this set from Dark Mouse I am making an exception. You see this pearl set reminds me of the set of pearls my mom wore on her wedding day. I remember it being kept in it's jewelry store box up on a shelf in her armoire completely off limits. So this is my little way to get my hands on the pearls. Usually the jewelry Mouse makes reminds me of my grandmother, in a wonderful way, but this time it was different. Comfy springlike LOTD

Alright here we go. The capris theses are about to go away so if you want them get your ass over to Tuli's before the reopening this weekend. The flats, if you don't own a pair of these from Miel by now, then I don't know what to tell you, they are a staple in my SL closet. The sweater from Sn@tch, what can I say you get a bunch of colors for a low price is it really that hard to think about? The white take is actually part of the shirt I wore here. Look of a few days

That's right I am sharing another look that I have thrown together. In fact I may be sharing a few looks of the day since it seems all I have time to do lately. Darn RL demanding I attend to it.

Anyway the look that is what I am here to talk about. It all started with the vest which was a Fifty Linden Friday item from around Valentine's Day I believe. Once I decided on a pair of pants the rest was easy. Hey it's not easy when you have a ton of pants in your inventory. And yes I do need all those blue jeans! The flats are my go to flats from Miel, they are cute and have little color change bits all over which makes them quite versatile. Look I actually wore jewelry, I am getting better at accessorising no?

Outfit of random awesomeness

I needed to title the post something didn't I? I have been playing with this look for days adding this, changing that and I forced myself to stop and blog it before I became too obsessed.

I started with the dress, but then thought it was a little bare so I added the sweater vest. Now I was all cute and cozy. Next it was onto hair. I pulled out this Argrace hair that I bought at the hair fair, but haven't worn because it was sooo popular around the time of the hair fair. You know blogger overkill and all so I tucked it safely away for just the right time.

I went through several different pairs of shoes before deciding on these flats that Sakura made. She doesn't know how she feels about them so who knows if they will ever be sold.

The skin is one that has been blogged a ton lately because it is one of the Pink Fuel ones from the Valentine's fair. So I guess I am not as original as I had hoped, but I do have an eye patch! Before I was done I needed a necklace. After going through a few I found the perfect one from Violet Voltaire. Did you know she was making jewelry in RL now too. Check out her Artfire page!

One skirt to rule them all!

Haha Now that I have enraged all the Lord of the Rings fans out there on with the post! I think the title of the post says it all huh, one skirt used to create three different looks.

The first look was put together with Christmas in mind. I attempted to combine the usual red and greens of the holiday in a festive but not o over the top garish way.


ext up is a more posh party look. Red and green not your thing or maybe you are just sick of it completely. Well this may be right up your alley. Using the color change script in the skirt I changed the belt to black and then added a silver metallic top. Okay fine so really it is a dress without the skirt but hey I get points for creativity right? The bow in the hair is a ever so subtle nod to the holidays without looking like Christmas barfed all over you.


Not in a holiday mood or maybe you just want to go for a stroll in the snow. I got you covered. Again same skirt only with a blue belt now and some blue accessories. Blue and white just seem to go together so well when you are thinking about the cold weather and snow.


So there you have it three different looks all using the same skirt, oh and if you were wondering yes is does come in other colors. I just chose white since it fit my evil plans.

Jelly beans aren't just for eating

 

Look I dug another goodie out of the “to blog” folder! The jacket has not been sitting the folder all that long actually. I know I got it recently because I picked it up while doing the hunt at Itutu. The jacket comes with four versions though I am only showing one right now, obviously.

In the last post I mentioned that I was going to start buying up all the capris from Decoy, well this is my first pair. I love these as much as I love the jeans, maybe because they fit right out of the folder. Spring is in the air

The other day I was digging through my "to blog" folder. This folder is full of stuff that I think should be shown off. Not all of the stuff in there is new, take the top in this post for instance. It is the sister top to the Odelia dresses that Sakura and I blogged about here. I didn't know there were tops just like the dresses until, well i can't remember when I got the first one. I am thinking it was around fall since I picked up the orange leaves version. The other day I went back and got the red flowers version for a more springy look. Yeah I know I should delve into my "to blog" folder more often. Maybe this will be the week I do that.

Newness from Exile and Shine!

Last night I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek at the new home to Exile and others, Covet. What an appropriate name cause boy did I want a lot! First we will start with the new releases from Exile, while there may be ones for the boys I am going to focus on my two favorites for the ladies. First up is the Love Story hair. This is a beautiful updo perfect for a night out. Next up is Ursula, of course when I hear Ursula I always think of the sea witch from The Little Mermaid, but there is nothing evil about this style!

If you are part of the update group you can go in there and pick up a special coloring of the Ursula hair and the boys style Jiro too. I think it looks pretty good on the ladies as well. Look for yourself.

Oh and if you have trouble picking out what colors you may want fear not, for there is a free wearable color demo, a cute pony tail style. Who knows you may be surprised to find a color you never thought you would wear. I know Sakura did last night!

Now Exile is not the only shop finding a home on Covet. For weeks Miss Brandy has been teasing those of us on Plurk with little glimpses of her works in progress and finally last night I was able to see the fruits of her labor. Not only did I grab the eyes you see in the pictures (the first eyes I have found that come close to my RL eyes), but also some pretty shinys too. I picked up the Geo set because well I had to have it and I even told Brandy I wanted a RL version to wear.

I can commit...

....to an outfit at least.

So after I showed you my inability to commit to an outfit I thought I would show you one that I was able to commit to, for a few days in fact. I don't know if it is because it is March or the Irish blood in me, but I love the greens in this outfit. Not to mention the fact that there are stars on my shoes and lip ring, always an outfit plus in my book. The leopard leggings paired with the skirt make it a nice spring outfit. Perfect for when it is not warm enough to go out with bare legs but too nice to be trapped in pants. We have been getting a taste of that kind of weather around here and I hope it lasts, even though deep down I know we can still get snow storms into April. Ah well such is life. Winter can't last forever and I say bring on spring!

Going Sultry with Calla

Sunday was the second anniversary party for Calla and I was of course in the house. I remember way back in my noob days getting my first prim hair from Calla. My color of choice back then? Fire of course! So there was the party as I mentioned with tons of goodies for the attendees, but more important to note is the introduction of the Calla Sultry line.
I went on a demo grabbing bender when I first got to the party and had to sit on my hands so I didn't tp home to try them on all right away. I would hate to have seemed to be a rude party guest :D After waiting a fair amount of time I said my congrats to Tigerlily and ran home as fast as my tp could take me. I tried on every demo that I got and made a list of the ones I needed NOW. Of course with the party going on and the lag I held off till Monday to grab all the hair on my NEED NOW list. I haven’t been able to take off my Myrtle pigtails. Well that isn’t true, I could take them off, I just choose not to! Here are some pictures of the ones from my NEED NOW list.
