A Subtle Safari

It is the last round of Zodiac, and it is bittersweet. Being a Leo though I am happy it ends with my sign, where it began too if I am not mistaken. That being said, this is what I threw together with a couple of pretties from Zodiac, and a few other things too.
I have to say I really dig the way the paws of the necklace pokes out at the collar of the dress. It almost looks like they could be an awesome clasp to hold the collar together, like the paws would lock together. I am running out of things to wrote so go visit Zodiac before it goes away for good.

Meow? No, Miao!

It's Miao day here on the blog! No I am not talking about kitties, I am talking about Miao the shop. See the Great and Powerful Kess (she is the wizard after all) has rebanded as Miao and has some great offerings at the Jewelry Fair. Above is the Ariella's Heart necklace and earrings (sold separately). As you would expect from Kess at this point all the bits are texture change, as are the other pieces she has at the fair. I would figure out how many combinations there are, but that requires math and well, no , just no. Right then pretty stuff go buy Kess is a wizard.

Hair!

Normally I leave the jumping up and down about new hair releases to others, but not this time. Over the weekend there was a new release at ploom, well four actually and a special Stumblebum hair. I am going to show off my three favorites of the group. This first one is Ivonne, a cute little headband style with long bangs. All of which you could have probably figured out yourself just looking at the picture huh?



Mouse! This one is fun because it comes with a HUD to allow you to give your hair streaks



Last but certainly not least is Nix. This one is the one I have been wearing the most. I wear my hair like this most days in real life, well it doesn't look as nice as this does, but same general idea.

Gasp....I am blonde!

I went on a little shopping bender with my girl Lola on Friday night. We were all over the place, and me in my undies. Long story don't ask. Anyway our first stop was The Dressing Room Blue. That is where I picked up my gorgeous new skin and fantastic hair.

Now normally I am a red head or brunette, but there is just something about this special version of Layne from Exile just got me thinking all summery and beachy. I guess it makes sense that the color is called Cali. I also, as I mentioned, picked up my skin at the dressing room. I am a fan of the clean fresh faced look of the skin. It just adds to the summer feel of the look in my opinion.

Next Lola and I headed off to the Pookie Flea market.

I picked up my skirt at the flea market and of course I chose the one with the yellow flowers. Sure there are other colors, but yellow is just such a bright and happy color. After hitting the flea market Lola and I wandered the shops and when we went into Ohmai I saw the tube tops and knew they would be perfect to wear with the skirt and thus my look was born.

Fairy Pretty

After looking all sexified in my last post I decided to go for a sweet fantasy look. I had the perfect dress sitting in my "to blog" folder. The poor dress as languished in there waiting for me to get my act together. I adore the flower inspired skirt of this fairy dress. Maybe I have seen the Tinkerbell movies with my daughter too many times, but when I think of fairies I always seem to think of them dressed in flowers and leaves. The dress comes with two different skirt types, the blooming skirt and the bud skirt below.


Of course no fairy is complete without her ears and flowers in her hair.

Sunshine Lollipops and Rainbows

Fine there are no lollipops or rainbows, but I am a very bright sunshiney yellow. I bought this dress back around Halloween and there it sat waiting for me ever so patiently. Such a good little dress it is. I paired the dress with this Melancholy necklace because the petals of the flowers reminded me of the white ruffle trim on the dress.


But wait it's not just a dress! Along with the skirt is a tunic option so you can toss it on over your favorite pair of jeans, or leggings or well you get the idea.
