High School Clique Fashion- The Artsy Student

It's time once again for one of my themed posting sprees. As you have probably guessed I am taking on the cliques from my high school days. Well there are more like a caricature of the clique they are representing. I mean I don't remember anyone walking around school looking quite like this, but you get the point. I plan on showing off one clique a week. Now on with the show!

Here is my little artist before class just hanging out in the hall. Most of the accessories she has are CSR gifts from Gritty Kitty. There is still time to get the painters apron, but hurry because it ends Monday I believe! The details on it are amazing.

Ripped jeans and a tank top for movement allows her to make broad brush strokes or maybe throw things, you never know an artists temperament. Even in SL where we are all adults you can still fit into one of the high school cliques. So were you an artist in high school or now? or will you clique be coming next?

Spotlight on Rebel-X Mareea

When I saw previews of this dress it just screamed Water Goddess to me and I wanted it...badly. Yes I know it seems weird that someone named Phire would be drawn to a watery dress. What can I say I likes what I likes. Mareea made up or a few different parts. I will start with the corset and panties part since it seems like it the is foundation upon everything is layered. The swirling colors send my thoughts drifting to dreams of a Caribbean vacation. When I come back to reality I notice the other details in the corset, the cute shells lining the bottom, which one could mistake for a wave, (at least I did at first), the same shells in a different color keeping the front closed. And I just noticed as I am writing this there is a seahorse on the back of the corset. A photo opportunity fail on my part.

The warm weather is coming!

 

I know where I live this weekend it is going to be warm, like in the 80's. Sure that may not seem like much to some of you, but in the Northeastern part of the US 80's in April is rare and we are getting a whole weekend of it! So that got me thinking about warm weather attire.
Capri pants are a great choice since the temp does drop when the sun goes down. I love the apple-y color of this tube top since it is easily a spring/summery color. I chose to wear flats because I find myself wearing them more and more often in SL and RL. OMG does that mean I am becoming my avatar or is my avatar becoming more me? I think I will go ponder that while you look at the last picture and the credits.

What's black and white and pink all over?

 

Me!!! Well okay maybe not pink all over clothing wise, but I am... oh well nevermind that. This look came about from the Easter hunt over at Cupcakes. See the vest I am wearing was an item in the hunt (only in another color) and when I tried it on I knew just how I wanted to wear it. So I dashed back to the store and bought it in the color seen here. The next thing was to find a tie. That was easy because I had seen some ties in Cherry when I was there one time getting shoes, after I had discovered there was a second floor. I can be kinda slow sometimes. The rest I had in my inventory and the look was born!

ZOMG Phire is naked!

 

I will say I am sorry right off the bat to those of you who do not like naked people on the feed. I tried to be tasteful I swear! It takes something special to get me naked and Ivey Deschanel of Sn@tch was able to get me naked and on the feed. She fed my need for stars, from neck to ankle, my body is wrapped in stars. Because Ivey loves us and wants us to be happy (or so I guess) she included that tattoo on every layer

I think I love this tattoo more then there are stars in it. Am I gushing too much, if so I am sorry. Now I just need to find a willing volunteer to count all the stars for me. It has to be more fun then counting the stars in the sky right?

Going on an Adventure!

Getting weary from all the grid wide hunts going on? Want to do something fun and challenging? Well I have just the thing for you. Head on over to Sanu and try your luck at the latest adventure hunt. This time you will be following in Chloe's tracks to find the King of the Dale's missing keys. At the end of the quest you will find out if you are worthy of knighthood or just a thieving rogue. I will admit I did get stumped a couple of times trying to find the keys, but in the end it was completely worth it.

These are the prizes you can get from each of the keys. Each key costs 1L, but really what you get is worth so much more! There are two different lip ring options, a belly ring, ring, earrings, choker, nose stud, head dress and monocle all for the finding!

At the very end of the quest when you meet the King there is also the option to buy an add on set to the quest prizes. This include another set of earrings, monocle with dangly bits and two different style chokers. If the add on set is out of your price range there are tips jars set up so you can show Sanura how much fun you had.
