Today’s Forecast: Grey with hint of blue showing through

Hey look my title rhymed; I swear that was not on purpose, but a happy little accident. This is the outfit I put on my first day back in SL after my break. This look makes me giggle a little because in on picture I look like the sweet innocent elf next door and in the next it looks like I would cut a bitch, but look adorable doing so. And it looks like this is going to be where my post ends since my train of thought has derailed and exploded into a million little bits.

Some more Spring style

 

I am slowing getting back into the flow of blogging and SL after taking a little break. I have had this all ready to blog before my time away, but just never got around to it which is sad because I really love this look. It all started with the skirt,it happened to be a gift during the egg hunt at Cupcakes around Easter. Yes that is how long I have had these pictures waiting. I knew that I wanted a cute cropped jean jacket and after asking around on Plurk I headed over to BareRose and found just what I was looking for. The scarf was a no brainer, I knew Maitreya had what I wanted, what I didn't realize was that is scarf is scripted to change. How cool is that? It was like getting seven scarves for the price of one. Since I was picking up the blues in the skirt with my shirt choice (my go to halter from Naive) I picked up the scarf in a shade of purple.

Now I am going to take a moment to talk about just my shoes. I was through XStreet one day for something and somehow spotted these. Now I admit I was a little skeptical at first, because the price was too good to be true. I was however pleasantly surprised. I suggest those of you looking for a bargain check them out. These shoes happen to be scripted to color change,another added bonus. Well enough of my babble, down below is what you are really here for.

Happy Earth Day

Today marks the 39th year that Earth Day has been celebrated, so in honor of that I put together this little look. I though this shirt was appropriate as it says "It IS easy being green", a fitting sentiment today. Sadly this shirt, from AnnaH before it became Storin, is no longer for sale, but that didn't stop me from wearing it.

I also used the Go Green bag from HoH, I actually use these sorts of reusable bags in real life. I always remember to bring them to the grocery and any other store I am shopping in. It is just one of the small things you can do to help. I am sure I don't need to tell anyone any way to help out as I am sure you are getting bombarded with them everywhere else today, at least I know I am here in the US. Anyway I hope you all have a great day and as the saying goes Earth Day is everyday!

Sugar Mill Poses are for Frinds

The challenge Mistress herself Achariya has issued another challenge to focus on some of our favorite pose makers. I chose to focus on the poses from Sugar Mill because when ever I do a post with Sakura these are the poses we almost always turn to. They are so fun and playful, just like the creator Anicia.
