The latest round of items is out at Genre and the genre this round it Goth. I had some fun with the one, just take a look.

 The Snake Lord and I look pretty fierce don't we? Okay I look fierce and he looks totally disinterested. I should be insulted that he isn't checking out all the leg action I have going on there.

At least now he is looking at me. We do make a fantastic looking couple don't we. Well I mean  in that reptilian sort of way.

The Green Team

I was all set to do the typical skin fair skin post, but then half way through I changed my mind. Figures right? So instead of pictures of all the skins and the details, you get to see my strange little super heroine group. First up is The Incredible Phire Hulk! My 9 year old said I looked like She Hulk so I went with it.

She is really a lot stronger than she looks, trust me! Next in the line up is The Reluctant Killer. If you take a look her face looks so young and innocent, hence the reluctant part.

She looks pretty fierce in her bone armor. And he scythe could really mess a person up. Following the killer is the Fearless Fae.

She may be small but she can get into all those places the others can't.  Not to mention she has all those special powers that no one can quite understand. Last, but certainly not least is their leader, The Alien Queen!

She is like Professor X only green and will boobs. Oh and hair, she has hair. She got her name because when I was out shopping dressed like her last night someone called me a beautiful ET.

Going Tribal

It's no secret that I love to roleplay, and many of my avatars are designed with roleplay in mind, or just to be something different from the norm. I've been wearing this particular look for several days, tweaking and perfecting until I came up with a basic character design that felt right for the character concept in question. I love designing characters. In any case, I've designed this tribal character for a tribalistic shape-changing race. It's a little different than what I go for with character design, I don't often do blonde, be it dark blonde or platinum very often...if ever, so this look is a refreshing change from what I usually do.

Elves on the rocks

Once there were two elves spending the afternoon together. They spent some time listening to the birds chips and enjoying the wonders of the forest around them.


Of course after a while they decided to chat about other things in the world, mostly about contact with humans. You see some elves don't think that they should expose themselves to humans where others don't see the harm. This lead to a little tiff between the two elves, but neither would deign to leave the rock to the other.


For all I know they could still be there today in stubborn silence.

Cupid

So I may have gone a bit literal with Cupid, but it was fun. Of course I had to rifle through my inventory to find a bow and arrow. What can I say it is not something I honestly expected to have, but I did. I guess it just goes to show you want you an accumulate over the years.


There isn't much left to say about Cupid other than she may be the cutest of the reindeer.

Yesterday I got a notice from Plastik that they were participating in the Plunder Hunt. Now I hadn't heard of it but the picture in the notecard was enough to have me running over. I had to have it and so did Phlint (okay I made him get it) because I had an idea. Well the original idea did't pan out as I had planned (I was being lazy) so with a little tweaking I ended with this. It also gave me an excuse to to get the amazing elf outfits from B@reRose.

Lord Phlint

I figured it was time to grace you all with my awesome appearance once again, and well the ladies have been slacking. Someone had to step in. And I, Lord Phlint, am just the man to do it. Too much? Well it's the clothing and skin, it has some effect of me. Can't you see me as the Lord in some epic comic? No....well fine then moving along. The skin is from Tableau Vivant and I picked it up at My Second Wardrobe. Now normally I am not a makeup kinda guy but this works. And my lush attire is from Barerose, dashingly handsome it makes me. Off to a party

Okay so I am really all dressed up with no place to go, as is the life of a virtual hermit. But hey I think with all the running around I have to do in RL I can be a hermit in SL. But this post isn't about my hermitiness (it's a new word), it is about this gorgeous dress from Ingenue. Sure there may be those of you out there that do not like system skirts, but how can you not love this dress? It is simple and elegant all at the same time. The texture on the flower makes me want to reach through the screen and touch it. I imagine it has a soft satiny feel about it.


I did have a devil of a time trying to figure out what jewelry I wanted to wear with this dress. I think I spent a good 45 minutes trying on different combinations till I finally settled on just a necklace. I know a lot of effort for one piece of jewelry, but I admit I am really picky. At least the clutch was an easy choice as were the shoes so I saved some time there.

Some more Spring style

 

I am slowing getting back into the flow of blogging and SL after taking a little break. I have had this all ready to blog before my time away, but just never got around to it which is sad because I really love this look. It all started with the skirt,it happened to be a gift during the egg hunt at Cupcakes around Easter. Yes that is how long I have had these pictures waiting. I knew that I wanted a cute cropped jean jacket and after asking around on Plurk I headed over to BareRose and found just what I was looking for. The scarf was a no brainer, I knew Maitreya had what I wanted, what I didn't realize was that is scarf is scripted to change. How cool is that? It was like getting seven scarves for the price of one. Since I was picking up the blues in the skirt with my shirt choice (my go to halter from Naive) I picked up the scarf in a shade of purple.

Now I am going to take a moment to talk about just my shoes. I was through XStreet one day for something and somehow spotted these. Now I admit I was a little skeptical at first, because the price was too good to be true. I was however pleasantly surprised. I suggest those of you looking for a bargain check them out. These shoes happen to be scripted to color change,another added bonus. Well enough of my babble, down below is what you are really here for.

BareRose Appreciation Challenge

I could not pick just one outfit to showcase for the challenge put forth by Mr. Jefferson. Choosing my favorite BareRose outfit would be like trying to choose which of my children I love more…I just can’t do it!
Anyway I can still remember my first trip to BareRose and who took me there. It was Sakura of course; she shows me all the cool places. My head was spinning with all the choices. One of the first outfits I bought was the campus detective outfit. It is just the right mix of sassy and classy schoolgirl; at least I hope that is how I come off.


Another one of my favorites is the Psychedelico set. I usually pair this up with some big hair for that full on retro look. Oh and the best part, my lazy bum doesn’t have to worry about accessories because the belt, necklace and bracelets all come with it! Oh and the headband too, how could I have forgotten about that?


Last but certainly not least is this Dark Elf set. I bought this set along with a few others to go with my colored skins from *mia*. The fact that I could buy one set and have enough color choices for the skins was just too good to pass up. I of course chose to wear the pink version just for Winter 
