Feeling a little Fauny

Hi guys, it's been a while but I'm back, hopefully for good this time. Today I was feeling a little like my old self so I decided to Faun it up a bit and go play in the forest. Gauze & Trap have collaborated to make these awesome mesh faun legs, they have a ton of color options including design options for the legs. They even come with a cute little tail that moves! I paired the legs up with Blueberry's Clare roper set from this C88 round. It fits well together don't you think?

An angel, fairy and demon walk into a bar

Sounds like the beginning of a bad joke, but it's not it's the beginning to a bad Phire story. Wait my stories aren't bad! Here we go.....


Once there was a Blue Angel, a Purple Fairy and a Red Demon who decided they needed a night out so they headed to The Volcano Room. The Red Demon spotted a man sitting at the bard and decided they should have a little fun and see who could get the man to head home with them. Red the Demon loved to seduce humans so she figured it would be a cake walk. First up with Blue the Angel.


She took the approach of remaining aloof thinking that the man would easily want what it seemed he couldn't have. He eyed her up and down, but never really got up the courage to approach her. Next to try their luck was Purple the Fairy. She thought maybe cutting a rug with the man would be a good idea.


She had a blast dancing with the man and being close to him. Oh course she was too stunning to look at so the photographer completely forgot to photo her with the man. Finally it was Red's turn to take her spin with the man. She chose to do what she does best, drink with him.


Again the photographer was so entranced by her erm...assets that the man was left out of the shot yet again. I may have to fire the photographer. Sadly he didn't get a picture of who the man went home with either. I mean who could chose from all the beauties? Who would you choose?

Chromatic Future

Warning lots of photos, a video, and blatant love of a content creator ahead!

Several times before I have professed my undying love of Selos Dae's work in SL. In my eyes these are fantasy skins at their best. The newest offering from [][]Trap[][], the Chromatic skins, sets the new bar for fantasy skins in my heart.

The Chromatic series features glowing electric swirls from the head to the toes. The effect of the glow on the skins is amazing, it truly looks as if you are lit up from within. My favorite part of the designs is the lightning across the face. I'm glad to see that Selos wasn't afraid to think outside the box and was able to give us a skin to bring out the electric gods within us.

There are multiple colors to choose from in skin tones ranging from light grey to dark grey. Both can be seen here in the photos.

Paired with the Chromatic skins is the Laya hair from Exile and the Elda Wings from Lazy Places. Both of these items are featured in the 2010 The Future Is Now event going on at the Greenies Sim.

The Laya hair is a fantastic fantasy up-do style and I'm showing it here with the fiber optic attachment which has just the right amount of glow to give you that futuristic look. The Laya hair is available in over thirty colors and also includes glowing eyelashes not seen here.

The Elda wings, from Lazy Places, hold a special place in my heart since I made them along with my partner Sven Okonomi. We wanted to challenge ourselves to make something totally different from our normal items. The wings feature a pulsing glow on the wires which can be viewed in the short video above. The wings are currently only available at the Greenies sim, but will be available at our main store when the show is over.

Seeking My Inner Vampyre

If you know me then it's no secret my lack of love of that holiday coming up. Despite all of this I do have a love of all things Vampy/Were-ish/Witchy. So for this week I decided to find my inner Vamp.

This was all easy with the new Vampy skins from [][]Trap[][]. Available in tones from white to dark, the Vampy skins are a soft ancient looking alternative to your blood soaked usual vamp skins you see around the grid. I am wearing the Tone 1 Pale version here and it is now my "normal" skin :D

I figured I would dress my little vampy self in a style that reminds me very much of a friend. The Shredder dress from Plastik was perfect for just this. Now I will warn you, wear panties unless you want the world to see what your Momma gave you. I am not wearing any here because 1. I wanted to wear this incredible tattoo from Garden of Ku and 2. The [][]Trap skin lacks the girly bits below so perv all you want you aren't getting anything :P

I topped the whole look off with a little touch of Sakura. My hair is from D!va which I will now dub as Wallet Death because all the hair there is $100L a color, gives you two versions, one with bangs, one without and is cute as hell! (thank you for showing it to me Mr. Going to make me broke <3) Be warned, the hair is no mod but does include resizer scripts, so if the demo doesn't look good, don't buy, easy right? I also am wearing the Tentacle bullring made by me for my shop Lazy Places (shameless plug) and the cute as can be Nevermore wings from Scribble :D

Koi

Last year the amazing Selos Dae gave our virtual world the gift of the [][]Trap[][] Koi skin. Unfortunately for most of us, the skin was only available for a few short days at the Harajukubox skin fair. I, among others, regretted never picking it up back then. Lucky for us Selos decided to bring the skin back, reworked and with additions.

Selos' work is amazing. The beautiful makings of the koi skin swirl about the body in a colorful display. The addition of the head tattoo (not seen on me because it's under my hair >_<)gives you the opportunity to wear this skin with a variety of scalp flaunting hairstyles or you may choose to go bald :D

Selos also has added an undershirt/underwear layer for this skin, allowing you to cover up a bit and run amok nekkid at the day you were born. Well, your bunns will still be out but everyone will be so taken by your beauty I doubt they will notice. Another nice thing about the underwear layers is that you can mix and match them with the other Koi skins making yourself as unique as possible.

Lets Cyber

Hello all! Do not fear, I have not dropped off the face of this virtual planet I have just been very busy with stuff. Yes stuff. I'm too tired to name what stuff but just know it's important and good.

I'm still working through the Dress Me up challenges and I love it all! Today's look was the suggestion of deightine. They suggested I try a cyber punk look. I checked out the place they suggested I look but it seems there was nothing there now but an empty building. Or SL didn't rez anything for me. Again. Anyways I decided to try AVZ for some cyber punk awesomeness.

AVZ makes lots of incredible cyber punk things. Everything from hair, to shoes, to accessories. All of it glowing and fanstastic. I only took one photo showing the glow because SL won't let me show glow in high resolution photos and I don't like the fuzziness of normal photos. But you can see below some of the glow.

Can I just say how much I love this hair? It's called TRI bal Hair 2 and it's the perfect white. I am madly in love with it. Moving on!

I tried to hunt around for a cybernetic eye, but to be honest I wasn't happy with what I found. I decided to dig into my inventory and wear my doll eyes from Le Petit Prince. I added the Digital Bunny ears to give myself a more cyborg look, lets pretend they are elf ears. While I was at AVZ I picked up the USB Cable Necklace & Bracelet set. It is incredibly detailed and perfect for this look. I am also wearing the STFU piercing from Nomine. The skin is Red makeup in skintone 2 from minajunk's Bad line. This is one of my current favorite skins, something about it just makes me feel more elf-like.


As for the clothing I went with the Haxxor Skirt from AVZ over the Lace Pants from [][]Trap[][]. I also treated myself to the Mekahooves from AVZ that I have been lusting over after seeing them on a few people. The rest of the look was finished with the Amtogan Top and Sjyau Bracers from Curious Kitties. The CSR cards are out now and the Sjyau Bracers came with one.

I want to take the opportunity right now to profess my love for Selos Dae and all other skin creators who give me the chance to be special and unique. Recently Selos released the Heart skins. Inspired by the Jabberwocky sim, these amazing skins feature a beautiful heart in the center of your chest with thorn covered vines tangling around your body. Each skin is available for both Males and Females and each gives you a plain lip and lipstick option. Each skin is also available in various skin tones ranging from pale to tan.

One of the things I have always loved about [][]Trap[][] skins is the softness of the shading on the faces. It gives me the illusion of walking straight out of a dream. As if you are a magical creature, here one minute, gone the second someone blinks. It shows even more beautiful on the Neko skins and the elf skins.

As you may have noticed from these photos, the best hair to wear with the Heart skin is without a doubt a Mohawk. The beautiful thorny markings upon your scalp are too amazing to let your hair cover. I went on a hunt to find a Mohawk that I thought best showed off these skins and settled on the long flowing Zoe style from Calico Creations and the shorter thick Allegory style from The Stringer Mausoleum. Both are incredibly well done Mohawks that you should seriously go buy to compliment your Heart skins. (Thank you Allegory for pointing me in the right direction for awesome Mohawks!!!)
