We ♥ Roleplay

Today I am going to share two different looks that were inspired by pretties from We ♥ Roleplay. The first up in a sweet looking villager taking the time to stop and smell the daisies. I was feeling in the mood for flowers and warmth for this one.

I just feels so warm and inviting, better than the snow I saw today that is for sure!


For this next one I went and embraced Fire, which most of you know is how my Second Life name is pronounced. Some claim I have named myself for my temper, but I am not *that* bad.

What I think is really cool is the fact that both pictures use the same head applier, but with a change of lipstick and a different windlight it changes it. One looks pure and innocent and the other sexy and sultry. Shall we move on to the credits?

My posts may be a bit sporadic as I am moving. I am going where there is no snow and lots of sunshine!

Flight Training

Every little witch needs to learn to fly, so in this part of the world flight training begins in preschool.

The teachers only let the kids get so high and of course are equipped with spells to safely bring the little darlings down should there be a mishap. The kids are taught proper take off and landing techniques and  how to hover. They don't learn more advanced things until they are much older. Most of the teachers are very good and pay close attention to their charges. However there are always a few who could work on their attention giving...

Daydreaming, while more than enjoyable, is really not the best thing to do when you have small beings in your care, especially if they are just starting their flight training. You know what is bound to happen when full attention is not paid.

Exactly, someone is going to have a broom accident. I am happy to report that the little witch in training was not hurt at that the daydreaming was given a different assignment. She can't do too much damage in the gardens...right?

The Poetry Muses

I like to thinks that there are muses for all sorts of things, like poetry. I also like to think they are specialized and need to recharge their musing powers. For today I have selected three of the poetry muses. First we will look at the one who inspires poems about the woods and tress and such.

When this muse needs to recharge she seeks refuge in the forest surrounded but all the trees. She communes with the trees and after a while she feels rested and rejuvenated enough to go out and inspire sylvan poems.
The next muse is like a sister to the Muse of Sylvan Poetry, she is the Muse of Flowers.

I am sure that it comes as no surprise that she finds flowers to have a restorative quality. She wanders fields of breathing in deeply the fragrance of the flowers growing there. When she is ready she goes off to inpire poets to write about the beauty of flowers in many ways. The last muse I was able to come across is the Night Muse, she inspires all those poems about the night, the moon and the stars. Some of my favorite things.

This muse rarely needs to seek out a special place to recharge as the night comes well nightly.She gazes upon the moon and stars in the dark sky. She finds that she feels the most power radiating from a full moon on a cloudless night. By day she is out there helping poets write about that time that she holds so dear. There was one other poetry muse out there, but she was very elusive and I never was able to track her down. She is the Muse of Hearts, she inspires all those heartfelt poems that lovers, or ex-lovers write. Maybe she has her own lover that she draws upon. If that is the case then maybe that is why I never saw her?

I'm not lost...

...I am just temporarily misplaced. You see I always heard if you go into the woods and you are quiet you can see the teddy bears having a picnic. Maybe I was too loud or maybe it was the wrong woods, but before I knew it the sun had set.

Lucky for me there was a full moon out so I wasn't completely in the dark. I guess for my own safety I should just stay here for the night. One of these day I will find those teddy bears having a picnic!

Hopefully I will be safe till the sun rises. I have heard that wolves like to lurk in the woods as well.

Returning to the sea

...continued from parts one and two.
The young man noticed the sadness in the mermaid and though he wanted to keep her with him he knew she belonged in the sea. He spoke tender words to her letting her know that he loved her so much he couldn't stand to see her miserable.
They walked along the beach and as the waves crashed over her feet her tail began to return. She had a hard time letting him go, but she knew she didn't have a choice.

She dove into the water and swam away as fast as her fins could take her. Only once did she look back at him as her tears became one with the salty waters of the ocean.

Mermaid Rescue

One day while walking along the beach a young man stumbled across a mermaid washed up o the beach. He scooped her up and carrier her off to his home to try and nurse her back to health.

Little did he know that the once she was away from the water her fins would disappear. he was shacked when he got to his home and noticed she has human legs. He gingerly placed her upon the couch to rest and recover.

Princess Tea Party

What better excuse to don a tiara than to have a princess tea party? Okay I will find just about an reason to wear a tiara, but that is really besides the point here. Look at that do you see what I see? It's pink I am wearing pink! Just proof that it is a special occasion, I mean sure I could have gone with more Phire-like colors, but then it's the 6th Anniversary of Adore & Abhor, well you wear pink and blue. It's just what you do. Of course I did decorate a little for the tea party. Here are some them that were made special just for anniversary time.
