Your Heart is Mine

      Dark Phire is out of her cage once again and this time she is taking no prisoners, only hearts. You would think with the start of the new year I would be all hearts, flowers and changes, but nope. Oh as for trying to blog more often, I have a bunch of photos to blog, but I have to go through and find all the credits again since my credits document got deleted in a computer clean up. But that is not what I am here about today, today is all about hearts. This isn't a metaphor for anything or anyone for that matter, although if you identify in it that way then Yay!...Maybe? You can't identify with anything until I show you a picture so here is it.



      As you can see someone has clearly had their heart mercilessly cut from their chest, don't worry I am not showing their body. I mean I can't be in trouble if I don't show the victim right? I mean it could be the heart from anything...maybe. I am not good with non-human anatomy. I am wearing red because if I have learnt anything from Deadpool, it's that red doesn't show blood as readily. Well I guess we really learnt that from his blind room mate, but that is neither here nor there. I did do a good job of not getting all that bloody.



      Now that I have terrified anyone reading this into thinking I am some sort of criminal maniac, I swear I am not. I have just watched way to many murder shows on tv. I have gotten the side eye on occasion for watching a marathons of some of them. Okay I am doing a bad job proclaiming my innocence so I am going to move on to the credits.

Sugar Plum Guardian

      Every year around this time I read The Nutcracker, I have read it since I was younger and got it as a gift from my parents. I still read it to the girl child even though she has been able to read for quite some time now. With the new Nutcracker move that has come out it got me thinking. Well also the outfit from Schadenfreude got me thinking too. I was going to do the much expected ballet type photos, but that seemed to obvious so I came up with these.

    

  I figured the realm where the Sugar Plum fairy lives would have to be guarded some how. Sure it could be guarded by more Nutcrackers, but I think a staff wielding ballerina fairy is cooler. There she is guarding the portal that will lead to the lands of the Sugar Plum Fairy. I am pretty sure her staff can blind you with sprinkles, jimmies, shots, it whatever they are called where you call home.

   
      I wouldn't want to mess with her so make sure before you try entering the lands of the Sugar Plum fairy you have a proper invitation, or else you may be seeing rainbows for the rest of your mortal life.

Sisterly love...sort of

      Gather round children as Auntie Phire tells you the tale of two very different sisters. One sister was all sunny and happy, the other sister was well she was a little icy. The Sunny sister knew she would be seeing the stick in the mud frost queen soon at their nephews wedding, and she wasn't thrilled with the idea.




      Secretly the sunny sister wasn't alone in her feelings. Their other siblings also thought the frosty one could be a little full of herself, but they only spoke of that in hushed tones. Everyone thinks that the reason she is so icy is because the sunny and fun one came along so she was no longer the baby, after a twelve year reign. Listen sometimes accidents happen and the sunny one just happened to be one of those happy accidents.


      As you can see the sunny one has no problems sharing her opinion about the sucky sister. I am sure she will be nice at the wedding, but afterwards all bets are off. Sunny knows she will have to be nice for at least one family photo, but maybe she can sneak a horned photo prop into the reception...

Princess Tea Party

What better excuse to don a tiara than to have a princess tea party? Okay I will find just about an reason to wear a tiara, but that is really besides the point here. Look at that do you see what I see? It's pink I am wearing pink! Just proof that it is a special occasion, I mean sure I could have gone with more Phire-like colors, but then it's the 6th Anniversary of Adore & Abhor, well you wear pink and blue.
