New Year with the family

How does one ring in the new year with a little kid. Well if it anything like here it means the adults are ready for bed by 10 pm. while the little person is bouncing off the walls. My sister and I were happy to power through to the ball drop and as the lower so did the Livy's energy levels. We all finally crashed for the night getting the first sleep of the New Year. The next morning, as much as I was in need to coffee, I made some "fancy" hot chocolate for Livy. Not to worry there was also a pot of coffee brewing in the kitchen.

While we were all together I thought I would set up my camera to take a photo of the three of us together. It doesn't happen often that we are all together for more than a little while so I wanted to save the moment.

Hopefully there will be more family time in the new year. Maybe that will be my resolution this year...

The Sorceress and daughter

There once was a kind and powerful Sorceress. She only used her powers to help others, much to the dismay of the other Sorceresses around. One day she had to go pick up a few supplies from the local Wizard and decided it was time for her daughter to come along and start her training.
The Wizard had all the supplies the Sorceress was looking for, even the unicorn tears which are extremely hard to come by. So it was time to head home. The Sorceress scooped her daughter up..
...and off they headed towards home to brew up a special potion. What that potion was I can not say, but I am guessing it was something powerful.

Peachy Pair

I have discovered a whole new arena of shopping…kids stuff! For a while now I have had a completely neglected alt that I made shortly after my husband bailed on SL. I wanted to make someone with a last name I picked out. I abandoned her for Phire though because well Phire already had some cool stuff, and the premium account.
 So poor Olivia sat there neglected and unused, until recently. Lola and I got it in our heads that we were going to run around in SL as kids. Anyway as we were kitting out our kid selves I started playing around with poses and all these other things I had ignored. So I decided to make Livvy my blogging buddy. I figure that way SL parents can see what is out there, and maybe some kids too.

That brings me to today’s post, Livvy’s first official outing on the blog with me. I say official because she has shown up in some other posts on the blog only I was vague about her. Livvy and I hit up the Color Me Monthly Event at Firefly Hollow. See it worked out because there were clothes for her, décor and resizable items for me. A total win/win if you ask me.
For this go round Livvy is wearing one of the outfits we picked up (she is woefully under clothed compared to Phire) and I got a bracelet/ring combo. Oh yeah the title of the post refers to the color peach, which happens to be the color of the month for September. Maybe Livvy will be back with her own solo coverage of the Color Me Event and any other ones I squeeze time in for.
