A day at the lake

I took myself out to a lake for a little rest and relaxation. A little row around in the crisp autumn air on a sunny day is quite invigorating. Once we got to land again I heard the unmistakable sound for frogs, so I thought it would be fun to try and catch one. I happen to love frogs, mini me on the other hand not to much.
She got a little startled by the frog in her face, maybe next time I should start with something small like a red-eyed tree frog. Or maybe take her to see some colorful poison dart frogs.

Peachy Livy

As I mentioned last week I was going to use kid me to do some posts every now and again and here one is. I took Livy to the Color Me Monthly Market to pick some some cuteness. I mean what is the point of having kid me if she isn't cute? September's color is peach, which is pretty close to pink, a color Phire doesn't like, however in kiddo form pink isn't so bad. I grabbed this cute dress and owl stuffie from the market, but there is still more there they I didn't get. Mostly because Livy doesn't exactly have a place to call home so she doesn't need any decor items.
The boots and socks Livy is rocking are from gacha machines. There are so many cute things for kids that come out of gacha machines it's insane! Oh if you are curious the color for October's Color Me Monthly Market is going to be black! So big or little you need to make sure you check it out!

Peachy Pair

I have discovered a whole new arena of shopping…kids stuff! For a while now I have had a completely neglected alt that I made shortly after my husband bailed on SL. I wanted to make someone with a last name I picked out. I abandoned her for Phire though because well Phire already had some cool stuff, and the premium account.
 So poor Olivia sat there neglected and unused, until recently. Lola and I got it in our heads that we were going to run around in SL as kids. Anyway as we were kitting out our kid selves I started playing around with poses and all these other things I had ignored. So I decided to make Livvy my blogging buddy. I figure that way SL parents can see what is out there, and maybe some kids too.

That brings me to today’s post, Livvy’s first official outing on the blog with me. I say official because she has shown up in some other posts on the blog only I was vague about her. Livvy and I hit up the Color Me Monthly Event at Firefly Hollow. See it worked out because there were clothes for her, décor and resizable items for me. A total win/win if you ask me.
For this go round Livvy is wearing one of the outfits we picked up (she is woefully under clothed compared to Phire) and I got a bracelet/ring combo. Oh yeah the title of the post refers to the color peach, which happens to be the color of the month for September. Maybe Livvy will be back with her own solo coverage of the Color Me Event and any other ones I squeeze time in for.
