Snowball The Christmas Kitty

      Up at the North Pole there are special elves who take care of all the animals that Santa brings to all the good girls and boys...with parental consent of course. The elves in this department love their job, I mean who wouldn't want to spend all day playing with fluffy animals?


      The kitty is actually color change, so I picked a white kitten because my "Christmas Kitty" in my non-digital life is white. We were going to name him Kringle, but the name he had was Peanut and it stuck. He is a very spoiled little boy, just like I am sure this little Christmas kitten will be. It's hard for the elves to say goodbye to their tiny charges, and because of the magic of the North Pole, Christmas animals never age, they stay kittens and puppies till they get to their new homes. Could you imagine an energetic lab running around the workshop full sized? It would take out elves left and right! Time for this elf to have a cookie and hot cocoa break while you real the credits.

Music Mondays - Love Fool

      Back to the Nineties we go this week, with Love Fool by The Cardigans. I wish I could remember why I chose this song, other than it coming up on a playlist on Pandora. Either way I pulled different elements from the music video for today's photos.


      I wish I had something great to say today, but sadly my brain isn't fully functioning yet. Lack of caffeine and all. I do have a closer photo of my outfit to share so have a peep.


      Next Monday I think I am going to go for a more "now" song...maybe.

Wine Tasting

      One of the activities I enjoy in my non-digital life is to visit vineyards and wineries. In fact there is one just a few miles from my new house so you know where I will be on the weekends, It doesn't hurt that there is a distillery right down the street either! But that is not what I am about today. You see not all vineyards and wineries are the same. At some there are coolers where you can purchase nibbles, as seen in the picture below, at others these are not available. I personally enjoy the ones were I can pick up some nibbles to go with a lovely glass on whatever wine strikes my fancy.


      Some of the vineyards I have visited do have little outdoor seating areas where you and your friend(s) can go relax in the the sun while sipping away and chatting about whatever strikes you fancy. Now that I will be living closer to friends I hope to do this sort of thing more often, but don't worry I will still be here to write about some nonsense or another.

Always Tulips, Never Roses

        Everyone has something they prefer, when it comes to flowers it's always tulips and never roses. I just don't care for roses, nor do I care for diamonds. Yes I wear diamonds, but the ones I wear have sentimental value. In my digital life that dislike doesn't carry over as much. You see in my digital life I don't have to smell the roses (not a scent I am a fan of), no do I feel uncomfortable in diamonds in my digital life.


      While roses don't bother me in my digital life I will always pick them up whenever I see them being sold.

My Week With Livy - Day Four - Matching Outfits (sorta)

I will admit this was my silliest day with Livy. Whenever we went out people assumed I was her mom. I mean I get it it's not that far of a stretch, so I had fun with that. I decided to match her dress, at least a little bit. I decided to take a couple of selfies to send to her parents to let them know we were having fun. Yes we were making silly faces in a lot of them, but I did insist on at least one "nice" one.

A Love Lost

If only he had listened to the warning on the wall and had not ventured into this strange lighthouse maybe he would still be with her. It has been a year since his mysterious death and she just can not let go. She wrapped herself in his old military jacket and pants just to feel close to him, sure they didn't fit properly, but they were his and she missed him greatly. After his death she fell into deep despair and was determined that she could bring him back to life. All year she search through libraries, old book stores, and even the few occult shops she found nearby. hoping to come across something that would help, and she did. Today was the day when she would bring him back to life!

She had found a book and gathered all the supplies that were required for his resurrection. She got to work reading the words and mixing all the things together. She was so filled with hope that he love would be returning to her. Suddenly a light began to emanate from the book. She looked on with bated breath awaiting for her love. What she saw made her gasp in horror!

That was not her long lost love she saw rise from the tome, it was some sort of demon. Her skin was red as a ruby and she flames shooting through her hair. The poor dear recalls nothing after that, at least that is the story she told me when I visited her in the asylum.
