Snowball The Christmas Kitty

      Up at the North Pole there are special elves who take care of all the animals that Santa brings to all the good girls and boys...with parental consent of course. The elves in this department love their job, I mean who wouldn't want to spend all day playing with fluffy animals?


      The kitty is actually color change, so I picked a white kitten because my "Christmas Kitty" in my non-digital life is white. We were going to name him Kringle, but the name he had was Peanut and it stuck. He is a very spoiled little boy, just like I am sure this little Christmas kitten will be. It's hard for the elves to say goodbye to their tiny charges, and because of the magic of the North Pole, Christmas animals never age, they stay kittens and puppies till they get to their new homes. Could you imagine an energetic lab running around the workshop full sized? It would take out elves left and right! Time for this elf to have a cookie and hot cocoa break while you real the credits.

Taking a Moment

      After enjoying the sights of the season it what time to engage the my other senses. The smell of crisp leaves mingled with the spiciness of my cider as a gentle breeze rustles the leave that still clung to the trees. I picked up my warm mug of cider and relished the tart taste of apple mixed with the spices of the season. The warmth of the mug radiated up through may hands as the warm liquid slide down my throat, all of me warming with that one magical elixir.

      Then I woke, realized I lived in the south and it was still hot, and everything was still green. At least I can get some hot cider and pretend.

Broken Tea Party

      Have you ever had an idea for a picture and as you start getting ready for it it goes in a completely different direction? That is what happened this time. You see it was going to be a cute little post featuring my obsession with macarons in SL. I have a collection, it's not embarrassing at all. Then as I was setting it up it took a turn toward the darker side. Here have a look for yourself....

      It seems the only things not...damaged at this tea party at the pot, cup and treats. Even the bats have lost their color! For the record I also have an inordinate amount of tea pots and cups is SL. No I am not a hoarder, I am a collector, there is a difference. Here look at my cute little broken face.

      Someone needs to come along and fix all of us broken things.

The Duchess and her Cat

      Once there was a Duchess who was gifted an enchanted cat. That cat could walk and talk just like a human, only well it looked like a little black cat. The Duchess asked the cat what her name was and the cat replied, "How kind of you to ask Mi'Lady, I am called Isabel. And what may I ask shall I call you my Lady?". The Duchess thought for a moment and then replied, "As we shall be the very closest of friends you may call me Adi. I much prefer it to Duchess Adelina of Pirin".

      As time passed the two became inseparable. There favorite place to go to escape the pressures of social responsibilities, and all the pomp and circumstance of her title, was a set of ruins hidden on her lands. No one knew of their location other than Duchess Adi and Isabel. They would dance around and be silly for hours. The duchess would share her secrets there at the ruins. The pressure to marry someone of her same social standing or better. It was all too much for Duchess Adi.

Karen the Estate Agent

      This is Karen, she is an estate agent, she has been tasked with renting out a beautiful cottage with a spacious loft style bedroom.



      As you can see Karen is quite stylish and she takes her job very seriously. So seriously in fact that she reached out to a local cleaning crew Mouse House cleaners. She figured they specialized in small home cleaning and while the loft area was spacious the house wasn't too big. The reviews were glowing so she booked them right away. Little did she know that what she was expecting and what she was getting where not the same thing. When the day arrived for the cleaners to do their thing Karen stopped by to see their progress. Boy was she shocked by what she saw!



      You can see that her mistake was purely based on grammar and how she chose to read that company's name. In the end the mouse did a wonderful job getting the home all clean and shiny, and Karen will be doing more research before hiring a company again.

The Woodcutter and His Daughters

      There was once a woodcutter who lived on the outskirts of town near the forest. He lived in a cottage with his three beautiful daughters, Theresa, Sofia and Angelina. Every evening their father would tell them tales of princes, princesses, faeries and all manner of forest dwellers. Theresa and Sofia loved the stories where a prince falls in love with a young maiden, while Angelina had no use for her father's far fetched tales.



      One day the girls father went out into the forest and never returned. The following day Theresa set out to look for her father. She wandered the forest until she came upon a being in a tree. "Excuse me up there. Have you seen a woodcutter?", Theresa asked. "No my child I have seen no woodcutter, but I have seen a handsome gentleman wander the path to your left. I know that young man to be your one true love. You should hurry after him!" the tree spirit told the poor girl, and off she went chasing after true love. On the second day Sofia repeated the actions of her sister, but instead following the path to the left, she went right to find her true love.


      On the third day Angelina followed the well trodden path to the tree where the spirit lived. As with her sisters the tree spirit tried to entice Angelina to follow a path to find her true love. However Angelina was not like here sisters and insisted that the spirit tell her where he father was. After some back and forth the spirit of the tree relented and released her father from a cage behind the tree. Together they ventured home to the little cottage they called home. Angelina didn't tell her father that her sisters would be waiting there with there true loves. She figured he had been through enough already.
