Walking Alone

Sometimes I am left alone to wander the wilds of SL. I always prefer to spend my time with others, but some days that just isn't an option. The sun is still shining through the clouds so I can't complain. I walked around the newly remodeled {Imeka} mainstore. It's gorgeously autumnal which makes me smile since it is my favorite season of all.

In My Room

Alone in my rooms I can belt out a tune like no one else. And I can dance like a pro, at least in my head. Reality is far different than that fantasy. In my fantasy there is no awkward moments when I forget the lyrics.

And in my fantasy being caught singing out loud is a good thing and not one to cause utter embarrassment. Perhaps it would be safer if I were to just listen to the music instead.

Freedom

After days of work the trapped princess finally was able to communicate with the birds she saw flying outside of her tower. She figured she could send a note down to the guard and beg for his help. I mean after all the guards fall for princesses in stories all the time.

The princess waited days wondering if the guard would come to her rescue. Day after day she paced her tower room, hoping for freedom. Finally one day she heard a noise at the trap door and through it burst the guard. She was free! She ran to her rescuer and came so close to rewarding him with a kiss.

Of course after reading all those books about princess and kissing she wasn't ready to kiss him and bind herself to him like Snow White and Sleeping Beauty and even that one who kissed the frog. Maybe he is worth it?

Learning the ways of the princess

While locked in her tower the princess decided to read all books on how to be a princess and what princesses do.

She read about the proper way a princess carries herself and the ruling of a kingdom. Basically she learned about all the things she would have if she had been raised in the castle with the king and queen instead of living the life of a merchants daughter. She also read stories about princes, though she really didn't hold out any hope of meeting one while locked in the tower.

However the best books she read were the autobiographies of Princess Snow and Princess Ella. Who knew that you could get animals to do your bidding if you were a princess? I mean that Snow got a whole bunch to clean a house for her and Ella got some mice to stitch her up a fancy gown. I mean sure her stepsisters destroyed it, but still it was made by freaking mice! The only animals the princess has access to were birds, and so she started to try and train them as they came along. You see she was already plotting her escape!
